About Induction Cooking
When you turn on the power of your induction cooktop, coils inside produce
a magnetic field underneath the glass ceramic surface. When the proper
cookware is placed on top of a magnetized cooking zone, the magnetic
field sends currents into the cookware, causing friction and generating
instant heat inside your pot or pan.
