This appliance cannot be used with a gas hob.

We would advise that for optimum usage, the bottom edge
of the extractor should be installed 450 mm above the
electric or induction cook top. This would be required to be
installed further up the wall if it was to be applicable with a
gas hob, resulting in the extractor not being able to function
to design.

The appliance can be installed without the air channel if the
hood is installed to recirculate.

We do apologise however we cannot advise the maximum
as this is not a value given. We would advise the higher the
appliance is from the minimum effects the performance; a
small amount at first and gets larger the further the
appliance is away from the hob.

As yet there are no new plans for a smaller version, any new
