Mr. Coffee BVMC-EJX36-RB Questions and Answers

#1 What does the red light on mean?

A red light would signal that you need to clean your coffee
maker. An orange or white light would signal your brew
strength selections.

#2 How do you set how long you want the coffee maker on?

The warming plate on the EJX36 coffee brewer will
automatically stay on for 2 hours after the brewing cycle is
complete.

#3 Does this model have a future brew delay function?

Yes, you can set delay brew. I used to set it so my coffee would
be ready when I got up.

#4 Is it BPA-free.?

Yes, this coffee maker is BPA-free.

#5 We have a small black part that came missing and can't find
where it goes but coffee brews all over our counter

To my knowledge there are only 3 removable parts in this
coffee maker. If you raise the top (where you put the ground
coffee in) and take out the rather large basket (lift it out by
2 small handles), then take the top off which is a ring-like
part with a red indicator pointer on it and inside there is
either a screen-type filter or a paper filter.
This valve closes off the water going into the coffee pot
with a nylon or plastic ring that looks like a 6-pointed star. If
all that is in place there should be no coffee brewed on your
counter. If any one of those pieces is broken or missing it
obviously couldn't work properly. If it is possible for you to
take a picture of the piece you have floating around loose
and send it via email I feel sure it would be easy to identify.
