MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Spark Plugs
1. Remove the left side panel.
Seepage80.
2. Remove the spark
plug wire (1). Use the
sparkplugwrench(2)
to remove the spark
plug (3). T urn the plug
counterclockwise to
remove it.
3. Inspect the electrodes for
wear and carbon buildup.
Replace worn or fouled
plugs. Verify that the gap
is at specification before
installation.
4. Reinstall t he spark plug.
=19 N-m
5. Reinstall the spark plug
wire.
