Problem Possible Causes What To Do
Dryer doesn’t start
Dryer is unplugged • Make sure the dryer plug is pushed completely into
the outlet.
Fuse is blown/circuit breaker • Check the household Distribution Panel fuse/circuit
is tripped breaker box in your home, and replace fuse or reset
breaker.

Most electric dryers require your home

Thermal limiter tripped • Call authorized service person for replacement.
Dryer doesn’t heat
