#1 1.52 CF model: does 10.6in "width" (I would call it depth)
factor in the thickest part of the door? is that the depth of
the shelf?

Depth of shelf is just under 9”

#2 Is the 13.8" dimension the depth? Or is it the width from
side to side looking at the front of the safe?

The answer is YES to both your ’s! The depth and width are
the same, the height is a bit more.

#3 The keys and instructions are locked inside our new safe.
Is there a way to open?

The default code is usually 0000. Try that. If not, call the
manufacturer. The serial number is on the outside.

#4 Anywhere we can get a replacement owner's manual?
perhaps a pdf download?

Yes you can. Go to website. Enter in the safe name &
model. Select the one for your safe.
