Normal operation:
The compressor produces an unobtrusive
humming noise, which is perfectly normal.
The refrigerant causes a slight whistling
noise as it passes through the appliance’s
small-caliber pipework when the
compressor is switched on.
Easily-eliminated noises:
Ensure that the air inlet and outlet
apertures are unobstructed.
Make sure that the appliance is not
positioned directly next to furniture or
other appliances, to prevent the air being
expelled generating additional noise.
Place the appliance on a fi rm and stable
surface.
Reposition the dehumidifi er if necessary.
Filter
The appliance is supplied complete with
a standard air fi lter which removes dust
from the air entering the unit. This must be
regularly cleaned.

to “off”, unplug the
appliance and remove the water tank

Remove the fi lter

(Fig. 14), rinse
under running water, dry completely and
reinsert.
Replace the water tank

and restart the
appliance.
Cleaning
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
Do not use steam cleaners.
Remove the plug.
Wipe the exterior of the housing with
damp cloth. Do not use any harsh or
abrasive cleaning preparations.
Clean the water tank with a soft brush, to
avoid scratching it.

General remarks on
appliance noise
A distinction is drawn between two different
kinds of noise, namely normal operating
noise and other unusual noises, which are
easy to eliminate.
