#1 UNIT DOOR LOCK SENSOR KEEPS BLINKING & DOOR WON'T LOCK.

When the door will not lock, we recommend resetting your unit by disconnecting power from your dishwasher for 2-3 minutes and reconnecting. This should help aid in reverting the dishwasher back to normal operating function, and allowing the dishwasher's door to lock.

We appreciate you connecting with us. We hope this helps!

#2 What is "Automatic Temperature Control"? And what is "Wash Temp Boost"? If the tap water is not hot enough, will the washer heat the water to the proper cleaning temp?

The water temp boost/wash heat boost option allows you to save energy and money by lowering the temperature of your hot water heater.

If the water temp boost/wash heat boost button is pushed in, the dishwasher extends the "main wash" time by about 20 minutes, which raises the water temperature from 120 to 140 degrees. This will improve wash performance especially when heavily soiled dishes are involved.

The automatic temperature control along with the CleanSensor and CleanSensor II function the same, with the same results. The cleansensor sends a beam of light through the wash water, measures the clarity of that water and determines the amount water, temperature & time needed to clean the dish load. The cleansensor is made up of:
• Red "LED" light that shines a tiny beam of light through the water sample.
• A clear quartz tube that contains the water the light is shining through.
• An electronic sensor reads the amount of light coming through the tube and determines the clarity of the water.
Based on the amount of soil in the water the dishwasher determines the amount of fills & wash time needed. Thanks for checking!

#3 How much water does this use per load? Is there anything can I do to prevent hard water from damaging the unit?

The water usage is provided below. Water usage will vary based on turbidity (soil level), including when the upper/lower Wash Zones are used.

Light: 2.4 gallons
Normal: 3.2-6.0 gallons
Heavy: 6.6 gallons
Auto: 4.0-6.0 gallons

If you do not have soft water, it is important to use a rinse agent. Rinse agent breaks down the surface tension of water, improving water drainage from dishes. Thus improves drying performance as well as reduces water spotting and streaking.
