stainless steel coffee mug is
designed for containing coffee only. To ensure taste
of coffee, do not use the stainless steel coffee mug to
contain foods or other drinks.
NOTE: Do not place anything other than water in the
water reservoir. Before making hot water, clean the
permanent filter basket (see “Cleaning Instructions” on
Page 7).
NOTE: To brew a second mug of coffee, let the
appliance cool down completely. Fill the reservoir with
water to shorten the cool down time. It takes about 30
seconds to cool down the appliance.
After brewing coffee is completed, unplug the appliance.
CAUTION: The coffee is very hot, do not drink coffee
immediately. Let it cool down for a while before drinking.
CAUTION: Never disassemble the bottom cover of the
mug if there is hot liquid in it.
WARNING
FRESHLY BREWED COFFEE IN BREW BASKET IS VERY
HOT. HANDLE WITH CARE TO AVOID SCALDING. IF IT
OVERFLOWS OR FAILS TO DRAIN INTO CUP DURING
BREWING CYCLE, DO NOT TOUCH BASKET. UNPLUG
COFFEE BREWER AND LET THE APPLIANCE COMPLETELY
COOL DOWN.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Your coffee brewer must be cleaned when you observe
large amount of steams or prolonged brewing time.
Clean your coffee brewer every month, the frequency
of cleaning depends on the hardness of water. The
following table indicates suggested cleaning intervals.
Use white vinegar as per instructions as follows:
1. Mix 1/2 cup of undiluted white household vinegar
and 1/2 cup of tap water into the cup. Pour the
water/vinegar mixture into the water reservoir.
2. Place the mug on the platform and press the ON
switch.
3. Let all the water/vinegar solution flow through then
discard the solution.
4. To flush all traces of vinegar, fill reservoir with tap
water, place cup on the platform and press ON
switch.
5. Discard water and repeat steps 4 and 5.
