Using the Fridge/Freezer
Before use
Please read these instructions and the Safety guidelines at the beginning of this manual carefully
before using your new Fridge/Freezer. This appliance is for indoor, residential use only.
Starting up
The temperature inside the refrigerator is controlled by the dial thermostat located on the rear wall of
the refrigerator cabinet. The temperature inside the refrigerator varies with the opening and closing of
the refrigerator door, as well as the ambient temperature. Under normal conditions, considering food
preservation and refrigerator energy saving, we recommend leaving the thermostat setting at MED.
The temperature in the freezer is controlled by a slide switch, described below
Refrigeration chamber temperature adjustment
1. When the refrigerator thermostat knob is moved from MAX toward MIN,
the refrigerator temperature gradually increases.
2. To decrease the temperature in the refrigerator, move the knob toward
MAX. This increases the running time of the compressor, causing the
refrigerator temperature to be reduced.
Freezer temperature adjustment
1. Keeping the refrigerator temperature control knob in the same position,
you can adjust the temperature in the freezer by using the slider switch shown on the next page. The
MAX setting provides the lowest temperature in the freezing chamber.
