GE - General Electric PP9036DJBB Questions and Answers

#1 If cooktop cutout is 29 3/4" width and 20 1/4" length what is
the best size for a cooktop?

We are more than happy to provide guidance.
Our 30" cooktop models would be the best compatible cooktop
for your cutout. We would recommend model PP9030SJSS for
your current cut out.

#2 Can I use corelle glass cookware on the stove?

These pans may scratch the surface. Glass is a poor
conductor of heat so cooking times will be longer and they
may require constant attention during cooking.
Also, keeping your cooktop looking new is easy if you
watch this quick use and care video. From selecting the
best cleaners, proper maintenance practices, to identifying
the proper cookware this video will show you all you need
to know about enjoying your new cooktop.

#3 I see irregular ugly red lines through glass. Not attractive at all.
Is this normal?

I recommend turning off the circuit breaker; To schedule a
service appointment with an authorized GE Appliance
technician who can accurately diagnose and repair your
appliance.

#4 Do not understand how anyone can say this is easy to
clean. Using recommended products but there is always a
haze that needs to be buffed out and there is always
something that requires effort to remove. So what's the
trick? GE-you should answer this.

We are so sorry to hear that you are having trouble cleaning the
cooktop and know you must be frustrated.

#5 We crack the surface of our cooktop. Can we order
replacement of the glass top only?

We are sorry to hear that the surface is cracked; we are glad to
assist.
