The 1 hour cycles uses approximately 2.4 gallons of water, the Auto Sense cycle uses about 4.0-5.8 gallons of water, and the Normal cycle uses about 3.2-6.0 gallons of water. Depending on the amount of dishwasher detergent used, the dishwasher will run longer to ensure the all detergent is used and the dishes are cleaned. This is normal operating function.
