Specifics
You can project high definition (HD) or standard definition
(SD) video, depending on the processing power of your PC.
For smooth playback of HD video, please use a hardware
accelerated video player on your computer. A hardware
accelerated video player uses the graphics adapter of your
PC to render HD video rather than the processor. This
frees up the processor for Philips Wireless MediaConnect
video encoding. The content protection on most DVD or
Blu-ray Disc™ movies might restrict watching the movie on
TV when the disc is playing on a PC. The TV shows PC
media files with a small delay. Philips Wireless
MediaConnect is only available for PC.

Digital Audio
An indirect representation of sound by numbers. During
recording, the sound is measured at discrete intervals
(44,100 times a second for CD audio) by an
analog-to-digital converter, generating a stream of numbers.
On playback, a digital-to-analog converter generates an
analog signal based on these numbers. See also “Sampling
Frequency” and “Analog Audio”.

19. IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION FOR 3D
TELEVISIONS
Ambient fluorescent lighting may cause a flickering effect and direct sunlight
may adversely affect the operation of your 3D glasses.
1.
Read the following information before viewing 3D television images.
DO NOT place your television near open stairwells, balconies or other objects as
viewing in 3D images may cause disorientation for some viewers resulting in falls,
tripping or walking into objects.
2.
If you experience (1) altered vision; (2) lightheadedness; (3) dizziness; (4) involuntary
movements such as eye or muscle twitching; (5) confusion; (6) nausea; (7) loss of
awareness; (8) convulsions; (9) cramps; and/or (10) disorientation, immediately stop
watching 3D images and consult your doctor.
3.
Parents should regularly monitor their children concerning the above symptoms
as children and teenagers may be more likely to experience these symptoms more
frequently than adults. Watching 3D television is not recommended for children
under the age of 6 as their visual system is not yet fully developed.
4.
Prolonged viewing of 3D images might cause discomfort, dizziness, eye strain,
headaches or disorientation.
5.
CAUTION NOTICE:
Some viewers may experience an epileptic seizure or stroke when exposed to
certain flashing images or lights contained in certain television pictures or video
games. If you or any of your family has a history of epilepsy or stroke, please
consult your doctor before viewing 3D images.
1.
DO NOT watch 3D television if you are pregnant, elderly, sleep-deprived, suffering
from serious medical conditions, in poor physical condition or under the influence
of alcohol.
2.
Sitting too close to the screen for an extended period of time may damage your
eyesight. The ideal distance should be at least three times the height of the TV screen
and at the viewer's eyes level.
3.
Wearing the 3D glasses for any reason other than viewing 3D television (as general
spectacles, sunglasses, protective goggles, etc.) may physically harm you or weaken
your eyesight.
4.
If you experience any discomfort while viewing 3D images, stop and do not
immediately engage in any potentially hazardous activity such as driving a car
until your symptoms have disappeared. If your symptoms persist, do not resume
watching 3D images without consulting your doctor.

provided that you also do one of the following
:
a) Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable source code
,
which must be distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a
medium customarily used for software interchange; o
r
,
b) Accompany it with a written offer, valid for at least three years, to give any third
party, for a charge no more than your cost of physically performing source
d

to be distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a medium

form with such an offer, in accord with Subsection b above.)
T
he source code for a work means the preferred form of the work for making
modiÀ cations to it. For an executable work, complete source code means all the
source code for all modules it contains, plus any associated interface deÀ nition

Most GNU software, including some libraries, is covered by the ordinary GNU

without limitation in the term "modiÀ cation".)
"Source code" for a work means the preferred form of the work for making modi-

all modules it contains, plus any associated interface deÀ nition À les, plus the scripts
used to control compilation and installation of the library
.

"work that uses the Library". Such a work, in isolation, is not a derivative work o
f
the Librar
y
, and therefore falls outside the sco
p
e of this License
.
However, linkin
g
a
"
work that uses the Librar
y"
with the Librar
y
creates an execut-
able that is a derivative of the Library (because it contains portions of the Library)
,
rather than a "work that uses the librar
y
". The executable is therefore covered b
y
this License. Section 6 states terms for distribution of such executables
.
When a "work that uses the Library" uses material from a header À le that is part
of the Librar
y
, the ob
j
ect code for the work ma
y
be a derivative work of the
Library even though the source code is not. Whether this is true is especially signiÀ -
c
ant if the work can be linked without the Library, or if the work is itself a library.
T
he threshold for this to be true is not precisely deÀ ned by law
.
If such an object À le uses only numerical parameters, data structure layouts and
accessors, and small macros and small inline functions (ten lines or less in length)
,
t
hen the use of the object À le is unrestricted, regardless of whether it is legally
a derivative work. (Executables containing this object code plus portions of the
Library will still fall under Section 6.)
Otherwise, if the work is a derivative of the Library, you may distribute the object
c
ode for the work under the terms of Section 6. Any executables containing that
work also fall under Section 6, whether or not they are linked directly with the
Library itself
.
6. As an exception to the Sections above, you may also combine or link a "work
t
hat uses the Library
"
with the Library to produce a work containing portions
o
f the Librar
y
, and distribute that work under terms of
y
our choice,
p
rovided
t
hat the terms permit modiÀ cation of the work for the customer's own use and
reverse engineering for debugging such modiÀ cations
.

executable linked with the Library, with the complete machine-readable
"

modify the Library and then relink to produce a modiÀ ed executable containing
