Introduction
Hotel mode for smart UHD TVs with webOS 7 and higher is an advanced installation method.
It is intended for limiting certain operational parameters of televisions according to specific
needs of their own deployment. Brief extract is below. Access to the hotel mode is protected
against misuse by an administratively configurable numerical code.
CAUTION:
If you do not have software 04.51.80 (for UHD models) or 13.45.36 (for HD/ FHD
models) or newer installed on your TV, first update the software from the internet
(OTA update).
Power On Status
Determines the TV behaviour after connecting to electricity (switching off with the central
switch): PWR (TV switches on), STD (TV remains in Standby), LST (TV goes to the last state).
Volume
Sets the minimum and maximum volume limits and the volume upon switching on.
Key Management
Sets the control method that you make available to the user. You can enable or disable control
by remote control or buttons on the TV.
Limited Mode
You can disable programme debugging and management, disable programme changes, disable
the TV menu, OSD information or restrict certain menu items.
DTV Programme update
You can disable automatic loading of programme changes according to broadcasting or allow
only manual updating.
Power On Default
You can determine what state the TV will enter after switching on. This includes the selection
of input, start-up programme, whether the previous user sound and picture values are to be
restored to those you have specified.
Aux Source Setting
Availability of inputs (according to the model) can be limited by unticking them in the list.
Power Management
If the TV does not accept any commands from the user, you can set it to switch off from 1 to 7
hours or leave it permanently on by selecting Off.
Password Change
Setting acustom password for access to hotel mode.
USB Cloning
You can save your settings to aUSB memory stick and transfer them to another TV of the same
type.
