Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Yamaha BTR-STP200.
This product is a rechargeable lithium ion battery
pack.
This Owner’s Manual describes precautions for
using and recharging the battery pack.
Please be sure to read this Owner's Manual before
using the product to take best advantage of the
product's features.
After reading this manual, please keep it in a safe
place.

Please read the Owner’s Manual carefully and use the
product correctly.
If you use the product incorrectly, bodily injuries
or burns, leaking liquid, overheating, explosion or
damage to the product may result.

WARNING
Always follow the basic precautions listed below to
avoid the possibility of serious injury or even death
from electrical shock, short-circuiting, damages,
re or other hazards. These precautions include,
but are not limited to, the following:
Do not open
• This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not
attempt to disassemble the internal parts or modify
them in any way.
Water warning
• Do not expose the product to rain, use it near water or
in damp or wet conditions, or place on it any containers
(such as vases, bottles or glasses) containing liquids
which might spill into any openings.
• Never charge when this product is wet. Doing so may
cause electric shock, re, or malfunction due to short
circuiting.
Fire warning
• Do not place any burning items or open ames near the
product, since they may cause a re.
Handling
• Before installing, removing or charging this product, be
sure to read and follow the description of the Owner’s
Manual for the device on which you are installing this
product.
Otherwise, re, overheating, explosion or damage to the
product or your device may result.
• Do not dispose of batteries in re.
• Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, re or the like.
• If batteries do leak, avoid contact with the leaked uid.
If this product uid should come in contact with your
eyes, mouth, or skin, wash immediately with water
and consult a doctor. Battery uid is corrosive and may
possibly cause loss of sight or chemical burns.
• Do not short-circuit the batteries. Failure to do so might
result in a re, burns, or inammation due to uid leaks.

• Do not put in a pocket or bag, carry, or store batteries
together with pieces of metal. The battery could short,
burst, or leak, causing a re or injury.
• Do not keep this product in a place subject to extremely
low air pressure.
Otherwise, it may explode, resulting in re or injury.
• Do not subject the batteries to mechanical shock or
drop. Failure to comply may result in re, electric shock,
malfunction.
Location and connection
• Keep this product out of reach of children. This product
is not suitable for use in locations where children are
likely to be present.
CAUTION
Always follow the basic precautions listed below
to avoid the possibility of physical injury to you
or others. These precautions include, but are not
limited to, the following:
Handling
• Never handle batteries with wet hands.
• Do not rest your weight on the product or place heavy
objects on it.
• Always make sure all batteries are inserted in conformity.
Failure to do so might result in overheating, re, or
battery uid leakage.
• When storing or discarding batteries, insulate the
terminal area by applying tape, or some other
protection. If the terminal of the battery touches other
batteries or metal objects, it may cause overheating, re,
or battery uid leakage.
• Charge only with a specied charger. Charging with an
unspecied charger may cause leakage, overheating,
explosion, or malfunction.
• Charges within the specied charging temperature
range. Charging at a temperature outside the range may
cause leakage, overheating, explosion, or damage.

NOTICE
Handling and maintenance
• To avoid over-discharge when not in use, the battery is
“locked” and will not function when rst shipped from
the factory. To unlock and enable the battery for rst
time use, you must install it in the intended product or a
specied battery charger, and then connect the product
or charger to an AC outlet using the dedicated power
cord.
• This product is a lithium-ion battery. Charge this product
before using it. Even if you plan not to use this product
for a long period of time, recharge it every six months
to maintain battery power. Otherwise, the product may
become unable to retain a charge.
• If you plan not to use this product for a long period
of time, remove the battery from the relevant device.
Otherwise, the batteries may be drained, or battery
liquid may leak, possibly resulting in damage to your
device.
• Do not remove the batteries from its original packaging
until required for use.
• Keep the batteries clean and dry.
• Wipe the battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they
become dirty.
• Do not leave the batteries on prolonged charge when
not in use.
• If you plan not to use this product for a long period
of time, remove the battery from the relevant device.
Otherwise, the battery may be drained, or battery liquid
may leak, possibly resulting in damage to your device.
• Do not install this product in a place subject to
drastic changes in ambient temperature. Otherwise,
condensation may form inside and on the surface of
your device, resulting in damage to the device.
• If there is a reason to believe that condensation might
have occurred on or in the device, leave it for a while,
and then turn on the power to the device. Turning the
power on while condensation is present may cause
damage to the device.
• Do not use sodium hypochlorite solution, ethanol,
benzine, thinner, detergent or a chemical rag to clean
the surface of the product. Otherwise, the surface may
become discolored or deteriorate.
