Important Safety Instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age
and older and by persons with physical, sensory or mental
impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are
properly supervised or have been informed about how to
use of the product in asafe manner and understand the
potential dangers.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done
by children unless they are older than 8 years and
supervised.
Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the
appliance and its power cord.
If the power cable is damaged, have it replaced in
aprofessional service centre in order to prevent
adangerous situation. It is forbidden to use the appliance
with the power cable damaged.
ATTENTION: Hot surface
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be
higher if the appliance is in operation.
WARNING: If the surface of the appliance is cracked, switch
it off to prevent possible electric shock.

CAUTION: This appliance is not designed to be controlled
using an external timer switch or aremote control.
When cleaning, follow the instructions in the chapter
“Cleaning and Maintenance”.
This appliance is intended for household use only. It is also suitable for personal non-commercial use in spaces such as:
staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces;
recreational objects, chalets, cottages;
hotel or motel rooms andother living areas;
Bed & Breakfast facilities.
Do not use the appliance in outdoor or industry environment.
The appliance is designed for heating and preparing food. Do not use it for any other purposes than those for which it was designed.
Before connecting the appliance to apower socket, check that the nameplate rated voltage matches the voltage of the power socket the appliance
is to be connected to. Connect the appliance only to aproperly earthed socket. Do not use an extension cord. Unwind the power cable in full before
use.
Only use the appliance on flat, dry, clean, stable and fire-resistant surface. Do not use the appliance on metal surfaces, such as on the kitchen sink
drainage board.
Do not place the appliance on or near table edge, electric or gas stove or other sources of heat.
Do not use the appliance on asurface which is heat-sensitive or covered with table cloth, paper or other flammable material, in the vicinity of
curtains or other flammable or heat-sensitive materials.
During operation there needs to be sufficient area for air circulation above the appliance and around it. Asafety distance of at least 50cm and 10cm
must be observed over the hotplate in the main heat radiation direction and in other directions around the appliance respectively.
During operation, the appliance must be placed on the kitchen unit countertop with no cabinet or overhanging shelf over itself.
Do not place any objects on the appliance.
Do not cover or block the ventilation openings of the appliance.
Not not use the appliance without any pot or pan put on the hotplate. During operation, regularly check the food status.
Always make sure that the pot or pan are placed correctly on the hotplate.
The dish handles should be in asafe position to prevent getting caught on and overturning the dishes.
Liquids or meals may not be heated in closed containers, such as cans, as an explosion could result.
Take special care if oil or fat is used for cooking. If fat or oil is heated to ahigh temperature, it may catch fire.
When handling hot dishes containing hot food or liquids, take special care to prevent burning or scalding.
Use oven mitts when handling hot dishes.
The appliance must not be left unattended while in operation or connected to apower socket.
Keep in mind that the hotplate will still radiate some residual heat for awhile after use. Take care not to touch the hot surface of the appliance.
After use, always switch the appliance off using the on/off button and disconnect the appliance'spower cord from the power socket. Take this action
also if the appliance is to be left unattended, unused or before cleaning, maintenance, moving or storage.
When disconnecting the appliance from the power socket, always pull the plug, not the power cord. Otherwise, damage to the power cable or the
socket may occur.
Allow the appliance to fully cool down before moving, cleaning, maintenance or storage. Never move the appliance during operation, while there is
apot or apan on it or if it’snot cooled down completely.
To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, power cable, or plug into water or any other liquid.
Do not place heavy objects on the power cable. Make sure that the power cable does not hang over the edge of the table or touch hot surfaces or
sharp objects.
Clean the appliance regularly after each use according to the instructions in the Cleaning and Maintenance section. Do not perform any
maintenance on the appliance other than the cleaning described in this user’smanual.
Do not use the appliance if it malfunctions, has been dropped on the floor, immersed in water or damaged in any way. Take it to an authorised
service centre for inspection or repair.
To prevent dangerous situations, do not repair or modify the appliance yourself. All repairs should be carried out by an authorised service centre.
Tampering with the appliance may result in the loss of your legal rights regarding faulty performance or warranty for quality.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use, remove the appliance and its accessories form the
packaging and discard all promotional labels and tags. Check that
neither the appliance nor any of its components is damaged.
Wipe the surface of the appliance with aclean, slightly damp cloth.
Then wipe it dry.
Note:
When first turned on there may be light smoke emitted.
This is acompletely normal phenomenon that disappears
in afew minutes.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
1. Place the appliance on akitchen worktop or table withineasy
reach of apower socket. When doing so, make sure that all safety
instructions are followed.
Warning:
The appliance must not be placed on ahob, cooker,
gas cooker, etc.
2. Check that there are no foreign objects on the hotplate andthat the
surface is clean.
3. Unwind the power cord completely and connect it to the power
socket. The power indicator will come on.
Note:
The power cord must be positioned so that it does not touch
the surface of the appliance, as the appliance heats up
during operation.
4. Place the pot or pan on the hotplate. Toachieve optimal energy
consumption and cooking time, use cookware with aflat base, the
diameter of which corresponds to the size of the hotplate. Place food
into the pot or pan.
5. Press the
button, an audible alert will sound and all buttons will
come on.
6. The default mode is “Stir-fry”. “F-01” will appear on the display. After
3 seconds, if you do not press any button, the hotplate will start to
heat up andthe display will show the power and the preparation
time of the given mode.
7. Press the button
repeatedly to select one of thepreset modes –
see table below. Each of the preset programmes has apreset power
and preparation time.
8. Setting the power: press the
or buttons repeatedly to adjust
the power of the hotplate. Each time the button is pressed, the
power is reduced by 100 W. Each time the button is pressed, the
power is increased by 100 W.
9. Setting the preparation time: Press the
or buttons
repeatedly to adjust the preparation time. Each press of the
button reduces the preparation time by 10 minutes. Each press of
the
button increases the preparation time by 10 minutes. Press
and hold the button to speed up the time setting process.
10. Wait 3 seconds and the hotplate will start to heat up. During the
preparation, the values of the set power and the preparation time will
be alternately displayed on the display atan interval of 10 seconds.
11. During operation, regularly check the food status. Do not leave the
appliance unattended while operating.
12. When the preparation time has elapsed, the cooker will switch
off and the hotplate will stop heating. If you need to switch off the
cooker earlier, press the
button.
Warning:
During the heating of the hotplate, the colour of the
sensor around the hotplate will also change. When
the colour turns red, do not touch the hotplate. This
colour indicates that the hotplate is very hot and
dangerous to touch. There is arisk of serious burns.
13. Allow the appliance to cool down completely. Wait until the colour of
the hotplate sensor changes to the original colour. Regularly clean
the cooker according to the instructions in the chapter Cleaning
and Maintenance. Never move the appliance until it'scooled down
completely.
Note:
After the appliance is switched off, the fan will be
inoperation to speed up the cooling. This is anormal
phenomenon. However, do not touch the hotplate while the
colour of the sensor is red.

Warning during water detection:
If, after switching on, the hotplate detects water on the

appear on the display. Atthis time, the hotplate will

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after every use. Make sure that dried food
residues or other impurities do not accumulate on it.
Switch off the cooker with the button
. Wait for the hotplate sensor
to change to its original colour, then disconnect the power cord from
the power socket.
Toclean the hotplate, use asoft, slightly dampened sponge andthen
wipe dry.
In case of heavy soiling, use aspecial cleaner for ceramic plates and
asoft sponge. Then wipe the cleaned surface thoroughly dry.
Do not use wire wool, thinners, abrasive cleaners, etc. to clean the
appliance. Otherwise, the appliance'sfinish may be damaged.
Warning:
To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not immerse
the appliance, power cable, or plug into water or any
other liquid.
STORAGE
If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, unplug it from
the power socket, let it cool down, and clean it following the instructions
provided above. Before storing, make sure that the appliance is clean and
dry. Store the appliance in adry, clean, and well-ventilated place away
from extreme temperatures and out of the reach of children or pets.
