Important Safety Instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
General Warnings
This appliance may be only used by children 8 years of
age and older and by persons with physical, sensory or
mental impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they
are properly supervised or have been informed about how
to use of the product in a safe manner and understand the
potential dangers.
Children must not play with the device.
Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by
children without supervision.
If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced in a
professional service centre in order to prevent a dangerous
situation. It is forbidden to use the appliance with the
power cord damaged.
Warning:
Do not use this appliance near water. Do not use
this appliance near baths, showers, washbasins or
other containers containing water.
If the appliance is used in the bathroom, unplug it from
the socket after use by removing the plug from the socket,

as the presence of water poses danger, even when the
appliance is turned off.
To insure additional safety, it is recommended to install an
Residual Current Device (RCD) into the electric circuit to
the bathroom with a maximum current rating of 30 mA.
Ask the electrician for advice.
Burn hazard. Keep the appliance out of reach of children,
especially during use and cooling.
When the appliance is connected to the mains, never
leave it unattended.
Always place the appliance with the stand, if equipped, on
a heat-resistant, stable and flat surface.

Carefully unpack the product and take care not to throw away any part of the packaging until all the product parts have been identified.
Before connecting this appliance to a power socket, make sure the voltage stated on the label of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your
power socket.
Never use accessories which have not been supplied with this appliance or which are not designed for this appliance.
Sure that the power cord and plug cannot come into contact with water or dampness.
Do not spray the product with water or any other liquid. Do not submerge this appliance and any of its components in water or any other liquids.
If the appliance has fallen into water, IMMEDIATELY unplug the power cord from the power outlet. Never reach into the water for the device when it is
connected to the mains socket. This poses the risk of a dangerous situation.

Do not place the power cord of the appliance near hot places or over sharp objects. Do not place heavy objects on the power cord, position the cord
so that it is not stepped on or tripped over. Make sure the power cord does not hang over the edge of a table and that it is not touching a hot surface.
Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling the power cord - it may damage the power cord / power socket. Disconnect the
cable from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the power cord.
Do not use the product for any other purposes than those intended.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by the incorrect use of this product or its accessories (food spoilage, injuries, burns,

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use, remove the curling iron and its accessories from the
packaging and detach all promotional labels and stickers. Make sure
that the curling iron is not damaged.

PURPOSE OF USE
The Sencor SHI 4600GD automatic curling iron is designed for
trimming andcurling dry hair.

USING THE CURLING IRON
1. Carefully comb your hair anddivide it into equally dense forelocks.
2. Insert the mains cord plug into apower socket.
3. Use the rotary control to set the desired temperature:
145°C – 165°C – 190°C – 210°C – 230°C.
4. Wait 50–60 seconds for the curling iron to heat up.
5. Release the safety lock so that you can use the curling iron.
Adjust and curl your hair.
6. If you will no longer be using the curling iron, unplug the power cord
from the mains socket.
7. Allow appliance to cool down on aheat-resistant mat before
cleaning andstoring.
Hair Straightening
1. The thicker and stronger your hair, the higher the temperature
setting.
2. Carefully comb your hair anddivide it into equally dense forelocks.
3. Place the curling iron as close to the roots as possible. Be careful not
to burn yourself.
4. Insert the hair strand into the curling iron and close it.
5. Slowly and gently pull the curling iron through the entire length of
the hair from roots to ends. Repeat the whole process if necessary.
6. Open the curling iron and release the hair strand.
7. Repeat with theother strands that you wish to straighten.
Hair Curling
1. The thicker and stronger your hair, the higher the temperature
setting.
2. Carefully comb your hair anddivide it into equally dense forelocks.
You will achieve better results if you work withthinner strands.
3. Grasp the strand of hair you want to curl and comb through it to
remove any tangles.
4. Insert astrand of hair into the curling iron, close it and turn it 180° so
that the hair is in aU-shape. You can use your other hand to grasp
the curling iron by the handling ends. They remain cold all the time.
5. You can turn the curling iron inwards or outwards, dependingon the
direction of the hair rotation.
6. Hold the curling iron inthis position andslide it along the strand all
the way to the ends. It is important to maintain aconstant and firm
pressure on the handling ends when moving the curling iron.
7. Release the hair strand from the curling iron. If you want your hair
to look airier, wrap your finger around the curl afew times and
gradually release it from your finger.
8. Repeat withother strands.
The style of curls depends on the thickness of the hair strand and the
speed at which you move the curling iron along the length of the hair:

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, turn off the curling iron andallow it to cool down
completely.
Warning:
To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not submerge
the curling iron, charging cable or power adapter in
water or any other liquid.
Wipe the curling iron with aclean anddry cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, or any substances to
clean any parts of the appliance that could damage the surface of the
appliance.
Storage
Store the curling iron in adry, clean, and well-ventilated place away
from extreme temperatures and out of the reach of children or pets.
