Important Safety Instructions

READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.

• This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age

and older and by persons with physical, sensory or mental

impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are

properly supervised or have been informed about how to

use of the product in asafe manner and understand the

potential dangers.

• Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and

maintenance must not be performed by children without

supervision.

• If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced in

aprofessional service centre in order to prevent

adangerous situation. It is forbidden to use the appliance

with the power cord damaged.

• Children younger than 3 years of age should be prevented

from accessing the appliance unless they are under

constant supervision.

• Children between the ages of 3 and 8 may only turn

this appliance on/off if it has been placed or installed in

its intended normal operating position and if they are

supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the

appliance and understand the potential hazards. Children

between the ages of 3 and 8 must not insert the plug into

NOTICE

Certain parts of this product may become very hot and

cause burns. Special attention should be paid when children

and handicapped people are present.

WARNING:

Do not cover. To prevent overheating, do not cover

the heater.

• The heater must not be located just below the power socket.

• Do not use this heater with aprogram, timer, remote

control system or any other component that switches the

heater on automatically as there is arisk of fire if the heater

is covered or improperly positioned.

• Do not use the appliance in the near vicinity of abath,

shower or swimming pool.

• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen.

• Do not use the appliance if there are visible signs of

damage.

• Use the appliance on astable and horizontal surface.

Do not use it mounted on awall.

WARNING: Do not use the appliance in small rooms if they

are occupied by persons who are unable to leave the room

on their own, unless permanent supervision is provided.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains

or any other flammable material at adistance of at least 1 m

from the air outlet.

• Before connecting the appliance to apower socket, check that the nominal voltage on the appliance'srating label matches the electrical voltage in

the socket.

• Do not connect the appliance to an extension cord or two way adapter.

• The appliance is designed for use in household, offices and similar types of areas.

• Do not use the appliance in very dusty or humid rooms such as laundries or bathrooms, in areas where chemicals are stored, in industrial

surroundings or outdoors.

• This appliance is not intended to be mounted on awall.

• Do not place the appliance on unstable surfaces such as carpet with dense long fibres.

• Free space of at least 100 cm in front of the appliance and 50 cm behind the appliance must be maintained while it is running to ensure sufficient air

circulation.

• Do not subject people or animals to the direct flow of hot or cold air for an extended period of time. It may negatively affect their health.

• Never insert any objects through the front grill for the outflow of air or the back grill for the inflow of air. Aelectrical short circuit could occur, afire

might be started or the appliance may be damaged.

• To avoid potential injury by electric shock do not submerge any part of this appliance in water or any other liquid and do not touch the appliance with

damp or wet hands.

• Always turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket if you will not be using it or before cleaning.

• Do not leave the appliance running while you sleep.

• When cleaning the appliance, do not submerge it in water or wipe it with awet cloth.

• To avoid damaging the power cord, do not excessively bend or twist it.

• Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces or sharp objects.

• Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling on the power cord. This could damage the power cord or the power socket.

• Disconnect the cord from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the power cord.

• Do not use the appliance if it is not working correctly, if it has been damaged or has been submerged in water. To avoid the danger of injury by

electrical shock, do not repair or modify the appliance yourself. Have all repairs or adjustments of the appliance performed at an authorised service

centre. By tampering with the appliance you risk voiding your legal rights arising from unsatisfactory performance or quality warranty.

• The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages caused by the incorrect use of this appliance.

USING THE HEATER

• Place the heater on ahorizontal, stable, dry and smooth surface within

easy reach of apower socket. Connect the power cord to the power

socket. Ashort audible warning sounds and the heater switches to

standby mode.

Switching the Heater On/Off

• Press the ON/OFF button briefly to switch the heater on. The fan

mode will start and the display will show the current temperature.

• While the heater is in operation, press the ON/OFF button. The heater

switches off and enters standby mode. To switch off completely,

disconnect the power cord from the power socket.

Important:

When the heater is switched off, the fan will run (the

icon will flash) for about 30 seconds. The interior

space is cooled. Then it also shuts down. This is

normal.

Fan Mode Setting

• Repeatedly press the HEAT/OSC button briefly to select the fan mode

until the icon lights up on the display.

• In this mode, only the fan will run and the heater will not heat.

Heater Power Setting

Press the HEAT/OSC button repeatedly for ashort time to select the

power of the heater:

– low power

– high power

Temperature Setting

• While the heater is inoperation, use the TEMP - or TEMP + buttons

to set the temperature between 15°C and 40°C. Each press changes

the temperature by 1°C. When the temperature reaches 40°C, press

the TEMP + button again to display 15°C. The icon lights up on

the display.

• If you set the desired temperature, the heater will change mode as

required, namely:

• If the ambient temperature is equal to or higher than the set

temperature, it will switch to fan mode.

• If the ambient temperature is lower than the set temperature, it will

switch to low or high power heater mode depending on the difference

between the ambient temperature and the set temperature.

Automatic Shutdown

• The heater allows you to set the time after which it will turn off

automatically.

• Press the TIMER button. The display will flash “00” and the icon

will light up. Press the TIMER button repeatedly to set the desired

automatic shut off time. You can set the time from 00 to 12 hours. After

setting 12 hours, pressing the TIMER button again will display “00”.

• After saving, the countdown starts.

• After the set time has elapsed, the heater automatically switches off.

• If you need to cancel the automatic shutdown, press the TIMER

button again to set the value to “00”.

Horizontal Oscillation

• Press and hold the HEAT/OSC button to turn on the horizontal

oscillation function. The icon will light up on the display. The heater

starts to rotate from side to side.

• Press and hold the HEAT/OSC button to cancel the horizontal

oscillation function. The icon on the display will go out.

Warning:

Do not manually turn the heater to the desired angle

by force. This may damage the lid.

Ionisation Function

• Press and hold the TEMP -/ION button to turn on the ionization

function. The icon will light up on the display.

• To turn off the function, press and hold the TEMP -/ION button. The

icon on the display will go out.

LED Light

• Press and hold down the TEMP +/LIGHT button to turn on the LED

lighting. It will turn purple. Another long press changes the backlight

colour to blue; another long press changes the backlight colour to

white and another long press turns the backlight off.

Switching off the Control Panel Backlight

• The control panel backlight automatically switches off 3 minutes after

the last setting or button press.

REMOTE CONTROL

Inserting Batteries into the Remote Control

• Remove the rear cover of the remote control.

• Insert two new AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure

to observe the correct polarity when inserting. This is marked on the

bottom of the battery compartment.

• Replace the back cover.

• To use the remote control, point it at the heater. The maximum

signal range is 6 m. If you place the remote in such away that the

transmission of the signal is blocked by barrier, the signal may not be

transmitted at all.

• If you are replacing the batteries, follow the same procedure, but

remove the old batteries first.

Note:

If you will not be using the remote control for an extended

period of time, remove the batteries. Never put batteries in

afire, short-circuit or damage them in any way. Dispose

of them in an environmentally friendly manner at the end

of their useful life. Never dispose of batteries in municipal

waste.

The principle of controlling the heater by remote control is the same as

the one described in the chapter “Using the Heater”.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, make sure the heater is switched off and

disconnected from the power socket. Regularly clean the heater to

ensure its long service life.

• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, or any substances to

clean any parts of the appliance that could damage the surface of the

appliance.

Warning:

To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not submerge

the appliance, plug or power cord in water or any

other liquid.

• Use aclean, slightly damp cloth to clean the outer surface of the

heater. Then wipe everything thoroughly dry. Make sure that moisture

has not penetrated the air outlet or inlet openings inside the heater.

• You can also use avacuum cleaner with abristle brush attached to

remove any dirt from the air outlet or inlet openings.
