About This Guide
This guide provides a brief introduction to the Tapo Smart Hub and the Tapo app, as well as regulatory information.
Please note that features available in Tapo may vary by model and software version. Tapo availability may also vary by region. All images, steps, and
descriptions in this guide are only examples and may not reect your actual Tapo Camera experience.

Introduction
Tapo Smart Hub works as your smart home ecosystem center. It connects up to 64 smart buttons, sensors, or Sub-1G switches** + 4 cameras or
video doorbells (Tapo C420, Tapo C400, Tapo D230) to build a smart ecosystem for your home.
Unite Your Tapo Ecosystem* Connect up to 64 sub-devices using Tapo's ecient low-power protocol and centralize them on your Wi-Fi network
via the Tapo Hub for seamless control through the Tapo app.
Smart Alarm & Chime – Pair with Tapo sensors and smart buttons to sound hub alarms or chimes when triggered.

Set Up Your Hub
Follow the steps below to get started with your new hub.
Step 1. Download Tapo App
Get the Tapo app from the App Store or
Google Play, or by scanning the QR code
below.
OR
Step 2. Log In
Open the app, and log in with your TP-Link ID.
If you don't have an account, create one rst.
Step 3. Set Up
Tap the button in the app and then the
Tapo brand. Select Hubs and then your model.
Follow app instructions to set up your hub.

Manage Your Hub
After you successfully set up the hub, you will see your device listed on the home page. You can view and manage your hub from anywhere at any time
with the Tapo app.

You can tap the Ring icon to ring your hub.
Tap your hub to enter the Status page.
Status Page
Tap to play a ringtone.
Select a ringtone.
Check paired devices.
Share the hub with family
members.
Set smart actions.

You can eit device name and icon, check LED status and other information.

Reset Your Hub
You can reset your device on the Home Page or Settings page in the Tapo app, or by pressing SYNC button on your device.
