SELECTING ATTACHMENT TYPES
Attachment
type
Operation
BEATING
ATTACHMENT
It is used for beating light and medium heavy
yeast-free doughs, for preparing sauces, creams,
fillings, etc. Do not use it for kneading heavy
doughs.
WHISK It is used for whisking whole eggs or egg whites,
whipped cream, foamy creams, etc. Do not use it
for beating or kneading doughs.
KNEADING
HOOK
It is used for kneading various types of doughs
including heavy and thick doughs such as for
example bread dough, pizza dough, fresh pastry
doughs, etc.
ADDING INGREDIENTS INTO THE BOWL
Put the ingredients that you wish to process into the stainless steel
bowl. Adhere to the following:
- No more than 1.6 kg of dough may be processed per batch.
- When preparing bread dough, do not process more than 1 kg of flour
at once.
- When preparing dough for sweet pastries (fruit cakes, etc.) it is not
possible to process more than 450 g of flour in asingle batch.
- The maximum number of egg whites that can be whisked at once is
12.
- If an insufficient amount of ingredients are put in the bowl (less than
0.3 litres of dough), then they may not be optimally processed.
MOUNTING THE ATTACHMENTS AND THE BOWL
Press the lock A5 and tilt the head up all the way.
If you wish to use the transparent anti-splash cover, it is necessary to
attach it before mounting an attachment. Put the lid on the bottom part

that the feed tube of the cover is in the front part of the head.
Select an attachment based on the purpose of use, insert it into the
shaft in the head and turn it to lock it into position. Lightly pull the
attachment downwards with one hand to check that it is properly
attached.

Place the stainless steel bowl into the base and turn it to lock it into
position. When the bowl is properly attached, it cannot be separately
lifted out of the base.
Press the lock A5 and push down the head so that aclick can be
heard.
Attention:
When tilting down the head, take care not to crimp
your fingers between the tilting and rigid part of the
food processor.
OPERATION
Start the food processor by turning the speed control knob to the
required speed level in the range from 1 to 6. We recommend to start
at alower speed and to increase it gradually. You can change the
speed setting even while the appliance is running. We recommend
that runny doughs and sauces are processed at lower speed levels;
this will prevent ingredients from splashing out. As soon as they are
mixed together, increase the speed to the required level. You can also
utilise the recommended speed and time table below.

Note:
The speeds and processing times provided above are only
areference. To prevent ingredients from splattering out
of the bowl, select an initial speed level of 1 or 2. Later set
ahigher speed based on requirements. For easier mixing of
dough we recommended soft margarine or butter.
When whipping egg whites, the bowl and the beater must
be perfectly clean and dry. Even asmall amount of fat
may result in that the egg whites will not be whipped to the
desired snowy consistency.
Whipping cream should be cooled to atemperature of 6 C
prior to being whipped. Prior to processing them, allow the
ingredients used for making various doughs to rest at room
temperature.
Attention:
The maximum continuous operating time during
beating, whipping and kneading is 10 minute. Then
allow the appliance to cool down for approximately
10 minutes.
Warning:
Do not insert items such as spoons, kitchen knives,
forks, etc. into the bowl during operation as this could
result in serious injury or damage to the appliance.
If you wish to increase the speed to maximum for ashort time, turn
the control knob to position P (pulse mode) and hold it for ashort time
in this position. As soon as you release the speed control knob, it will
automatically return to position 0 (off). ATTENTION: Do not leave the
food processor running in this mode for longer than 30 seconds, there
is arisk of overheating.
Note:
If you press the head release lock while the food processor
is running, the food processor will stop immediately. To
resume its operation, it is necessary to push the head down
to the working position and to set the control knob to the 0
position. Only thereafter may you select adifferent speed
and continue working.
RELEASING STUCK-ON INGREDIENTS
In the event that an ingredient sticks on to the sides of the bowl during
operation, turn off the food processor by setting the control knob to
the 0 position (in manual setting). Then disconnect the food processor
from the power socket.
Press the head release lock and tilt the head up completely.
Using an ordinary scraper, remove the stuck-on ingredient on the
edge of the bowl and put it into the middle.
Press the head release lock and tilt the head back down into the
working position. Connect the food processor to apower socket and
continue working with it.
ENDING OPERATION AND DISASSEMBLING THE ACCESSORIES
After you have finished using the appliance, set the control knob to the
0 position (off) and disconnect the power cord from the power socket.
Press the head release lock and tilt the head up all the way.
If you used the anti-splash transparent cover, remove it.
Turn the used attachment and take it out of the head.
Turn the stainless steel bowl to remove it from the base.
Press the head release lock and and push down the head so that
aclick can be heard.
Clean out the food processor and the used accessories after each
use according to the instructions in chapter CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning:
Prior to cleaning or maintenance, always disconnect
the appliance from the power supply and allow it to
cool down completely.
Never use chemicals, dishwashing abrasive wool,
steel wool or cleaning products with abrasive
components for cleaning. Otherwise the surface of
the parts may be damaged.
Thoroughly wash all parts that came into contact with food in hot
water using neutral dishwashing detergent. ATTENTION: None of
these parts are intended to be washed in adishwasher!
If you whisked egg whites, first rinse the stainless steel bowl and the
used whisk under cold water. If you were to use hot water, the egg
white remains would harden and their removal would be more difficult.
After washing, rinse these parts using clean water and allow them to
dry naturally or dry them out using awiping cloth.
Clean the outer surfaces of the food processor using only adampened
cloth. While doing this, take care that no water enters into the speed
control knob.
Only clean the power cord of the food processor using adry wiping
cloth
Warning:
Never rinse the food processor or its power cord under
water or submerge it in water.
STORAGE
When you have finished using the appliance and have cleaned it,
place it and its accessories in aclean, dry place out of children’sreach.
Keep the stored appliance and its parts away from extreme
temperatures, direct sunlight and excessive humidity and do not store
these in an overly dusty environment.
