Additional Important Safety Instructions forUse of the Appliance
• Carefully unpack the product and take care not to throw away any part of the
packaging until all the product parts have been identified.
• Before connecting this appliance to apower socket, make sure the voltage
stated on the label of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your power
socket.
• Never use accessories which have not been supplied with this appliance or
which are not designed for this appliance.
• Make sure that the power cord and plug cannot come into contact with water
or dampness.
• Never spray the appliance with water or in any other liquid. Do not submerge
this appliance and any of its components in water or any other liquids.
• If the appliance has fallen into water, IMMEDIATELY unplug the power cord
from the power outlet. Never reach into the water for the device when it is
connected to the mains socket. This poses the risk of adangerous situation.
• This product is designed for household use. Do not use it in industrial
environment or outdoors!

Before cleaning or moving the appliance, proceed in the same manner.
• Make sure the appliance is fully cold before storing.

• Do not place the appliance on or near an electrical or gas stove. Do not place
the appliance near an open flame or devices or equipment that are sources
of heat.
• Do not use attachments other than those supplied or specified by the
manufacturer.
• Never block the ventilation openings of the appliance. Keep the ventilation
openings clean. Do not insert any objects into the ventilation openings.
• Do not use the appliance if it has adamaged power cord or power plug.
• In no case should you attempt to repair the appliance yourself; do not make
any modifications to it – danger of electric shock! Entrust all repairs and
adjustments of this device to aspecialised company/service. Failure to do so
will expose you to the risk of voiding the warranty policy.
• Do not place the power cord of the appliance near hot places or over sharp
objects. Do not place heavy objects on the power cord, position the cord so that
it is not stepped on or tripped over. Make sure the power cord does not hang
over the edge of atable and that it is not touching ahot surface.
• Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling the power
cord – it may damage the power cord / power socket. Disconnect the cable
from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the power cord.
• Do not use the product for any other purposes than those intended.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by the incorrect use
of this product or its accessories (food spoilage, injuries, burns, scalding, fire,

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Before first use, remove the hair
iron from the packaging and detach
all promotional labels and stickers.
Make sure that the curling iron is
not damaged.

PURPOSE OF USE
• The Sencor SHI 9100RS hair iron
is designed for styling dry hair as
well asdrying andstraightening
wet hair.

OPERATION
1. Carefully comb your hair
anddivide it into equally thick
strands.
2. Plug the power cord into the
mains socket.
3. Press the
button to turn the
iron on.
4. Press the button repeatedly to
adjust the desired temperature:
COL – 90 °C – 120 °C – 140 °C –
160 °C.
5. Release the safety lock so that
you can use the hair iron. Style
and shape your hair.
6. When you are not using the iron,
press the button to turn it off,
andthen unplug the power cord
from the power socket.
7. Allow appliance to cool down
on aheat-resistant mat before
cleaning andstoring.

Recommended temperature for hair
types:
COL (cold heating elements): suitable
for firming hairstyle after drying;
90–140 °C: suitable for normal hair
type;
140–160 °C: suitable for strong
andthick hair.
Hair Straightening
• The thicker and stronger your hair,
the higher the temperature setting.
• Carefully comb your hair anddivide
it into equally thick strands.
• Place it as close to the roots as
possible. Be careful not to burn
yourself.
• Insert the hair strand into the hair
iron and close it.
• Slowly and gently pull the hair iron
through the entire length of the
hair from roots to ends. Repeat the
procedure if needed.
• Open the hair iron and release the
hair strand.
• Repeat with theother strands that
you wish to straighten.
Hair Drying
The iron can be used todry andshape
wet hair at the same time.
1. Turn on the hair iron with the
button.
2. Set the temperature with the
button or select the cold air flow
with the button.
3. Use the button to select the
air velocity. There are 3 speeds
available.
4. Release the safety lock so that
you can use the hair iron. Dry
andshape the individual strands
at the same time.
5. When you are not using the iron,
press the button to turn it off,
andthen unplug the power cord
from the power socket.
6. Allow appliance to cool down
on aheat-resistant mat before
cleaning andstoring.
Automatic Shut-Off
If you leave the iron switched on
for more than 3 minutes, it will
automatically turn off.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, turn off the hair iron
andallow it to cool down completely.
Warning:
To avoid the risk of
electric shock, do not
immerse the hair iron,
power cord or plug in
water or other liquids.
Wipe the hair iron with aclean anddry
cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents,
solvents, etc. to clean any parts of the
appliance, as these could damage the
surface of the appliance.
Cleaning Function
The iron is equipped with acleaning
function that facilitates the removal
of dust anddirt. After 24 hours of
operation, the cleaning function icon
will light up on the display, alerting you
to perform this function.
1. Press andhold the button for
about 5 seconds and the cleaning
function will start, turning the
airflow toremove dust anddirt.
2. “20” and the cleaning function
icon will appear on the display.
The countdown of 20 seconds of
operation will start.
3. After 20 seconds, the display will
show “off”, which indicates that
the cleaning function has been
completed and the iron operation
counter has been reset to zero.
4. Wipe the dust anddirt with adry
cloth.

Note:
Allow the hair iron to
complete the cleaning
process. Do not
interrupt it.
Storage
Store the iron in adry, clean and well-
ventilated place where it will not be
exposed to extreme temperatures and
where it will be out of reach of children
or pets.
