POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electrical shock, the plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THE PLUG IN ANY

POWER SUPPLY CORD
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to
reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may
be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) lf a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally;

SET UP & USE
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packing material and any stickers.
2. Wipe the inner pot with a sponge. Do not use detergent.
3. Wipe the base with a damp cloth and towel dry.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Operating Instructions
1. Open the Lid by pressing the Lid Release button and pulling the lid upwards.
2. Pour water into the urn (note the max. water level).
3. Close the lid.
4. Connect the power cord; the Boiling indicator light will come on and the unit
will begin the boiling function.
5. After boiling is complete the unit will switch to Keep Warm mode and the
Boiling indicator light will turn o.
6. To dispense water press the Unlock button on the control panel and the red
indicator will light. Note that after 10 seconds the unit will lock again if no water
has been dispensed.
7. There are 3 ways to dispense water:
a. Press the Dispense button on the control panel.
b. Press down on the Air Pump button on the top of the lid.
c. Press a cup or mug against the Push to Dispense Lever underneath the top
panel.
8. The lid can be removed to more easily empty the urn. Simply press down on the
button on the rear of the lid, lift the lid and pull the lid off.
9. Note that the urn is on a rotating base.

CLEANING AND CARE
1. Unplug the machine and allow to cool before cleaning.
2. Remove the lid before pouring out any remaining water.
3. Do not touch the steam vent while the unit is operating.
4. Ensure that the lid is locked before lifting or moving the unit.
5. Keep this unit out of the reach of children.
6. Use this unit for boiling water only. Do not put any other liquid in the unit.
7. Mineral buildup or limescale may occur over time. Clean the unit with citric acid
powder which is readily available (and kosher). Pour about 1/3 cup into the urn,
fill the rest with water and bring to a boil. After cooling spill out the water and
dry the inside.
Electrical waste should not be disposed with household waste.
Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.

IF THE APPLIANCE FAILS TO OPERATE:
A) Check to make sure that the appliance is plugged in securely. If it is not, remove
the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds and plug it in again securely.
B) Check for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. If these seem to
be operating properly, test the outlet with another appliance.

Commercial Chef brand is used under license.
Any repair, replacement, or warranty service,
and all questions about this appliance should
be directed to W Appliance Co. at 1 (855)
855-0294 from the USA or Puerto Rico.
W Appliance Co. warrants to the original purchaser
that the appliance will be free from defects in material,
parts and workmanship for the period designated for
this appliance. The warranty commences the day the
appliance is purchased and covers up to a period of
1 year (12 months) for labor/1 year (12 months) for
parts (manufacturing defects only).
W Appliance Co. agrees that it will, at its option,
replace the defective appliance with either a new or
remanufactured appliance equivalent to your original
purchase during the warranty period.
Exclusions: This warranty does not apply to the
below:
1. If the appearance or exterior of the
appliance has been damaged or
defaced, altered or modied in design or
construction.
2. If the appliance original serial number
has been altered or removed or cannot
be readily determined.
3. If there is damage due to power line
surge, user damage to the AC power
cord or connection to improper voltage

4. If damage is due to general misuse,

5. If repair attempts are done by

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una clavija es más ancha que la otra).

La marca Commercial Chef se utiliza bajo
licencia. Cualquier reparación, reemplazo o

W Appliance Co. garantiza al comprador original
que el electrodoméstico estará libre de defectos en
