3. HealthandSafetyInstructions
3.1 GeneralSafetyInstructions
• Always check with your supervisor or safety ocer to conrm that the protection
oered by these goggles is adequate for your work environment.
• Draper Tools recommends that these goggles are not worn over prescription
frames as impact energy may be transmitted to the prescription frame and
create a hazard for the wearer.
• Googles that have been subject to impact shall not be used and shall be
discarded and replaced.
• The material used in the product has been deemed hypo-allergenic; however,
susceptible persons may still experience some allergic reactions.
The user should check for any such reaction and stop using the product
if any reaction occurs.
• Draper Tools recommends that these goggles are kept in a protective bag
or box when not in use.
• The lifetime/obsolescence of this product is no more than two years.
3.2 SafetyWarnings
• If the symbols C, D,E are not present on both the lens and frame then the lower
grade applies to the complete product.
• Check the goggles regularly for scratching, pitting or any other damage to the
lens as this can seriously reduce the impact protection provided by the product.
Discard and replace damaged products immediately.
4. PackagingRequirementsforTransportation
These goggles must be transported in their original packaging. If there is no
packaging, use packaging that protects the product from shock, thermal hazards
and exposure to moisture and light, and protects it from any product or material
or substance that may cause it to deteriorate.
When not in use and during transportation, store the goggles in a cool, dry place
away from light and frost, and where no chemicals or sharp objects may fall and
damage it. Also ensure that the goggles will not be crushed.

5. StorageInstructions
Store these goggles at ambient temperatures between 540°C, RH 90% and
keep them away from solvents, solvent vapours and any corrosive materials as
these may seriously reduce the impact protection provided by the goggles.
6. CleaningInstructions
Clean these goggles using soap and warm water. Though the lens is hard-coated
to provide a degree of scratch resistance, they are not scratch-proof. Keep wiping
of the lens to a minimum and use a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
