IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
USING THIS AIR PURIFIER
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before operating the air purifier.
2. Place air purifier where it is not easily overturned by
persons in the household.
3. ALWAYS turn the air purifier controls to the OFF
position and unplug from the wall outlet when not
in use.
4. To disconnect the air purifier, make sure the unit is
powered OFF then grip the adapter and pull it from
the wall outlet. NEVER pull by the cord.
5. DO NOT use any product with a damaged cord or
plug, any product that malfunctions, or any product
that has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. DO NOT use air purifier outdoors.
7. DO NOT use air purifier unless it is fully assembled.
8. DO NOT run power cord under carpets, and DO NOT
cover with throw rugs. Arrange cord such that it will
not be a tripping hazard.
9. DO NOT use air purifier where combustible gases or
vapors are present.
10. DO NOT expose the air purifier to rain, or use near
water, in a bathroom, laundry area or other damp
location.
11. The air purifier MUST be used in its upright position.
12. DO NOT allow foreign objects to enter ventilation or
exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or
damage to the air purifier. DO NOT block air outlets
or intakes.
13. Locate air purifier near the outlet and DO NOT use
with extension cord or power strip.
14. The fan shall not be modified by users.
15. A loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and
adaptor may cause overheating and a distortion of
the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to replace
loose or worn outlet.
16. DO NOT sit, stand or place heavy objects on the air
purifier.
17. ALWAYS disconnect power supply before servicing.
18. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
19. Filters may be harmful if ingested.
Avoid breathing dust when changing filters.

GETTING STARTED
1. Select a firm, level, and flat location. Ensure the unit is more than 6 inches away
from the closest wall or furniture so that the grille is not blocked. Portable air
purifiers are more effective in rooms where all doors and windows are closed.
NOTE: If the unit is placed on a light-colored carpet, a small mat or rug should be
used underneath to prevent staining. This is especially important in homes with
contamination from smoking, fireplaces, or where candles are burned.
2. Open the unit to access the DC adapter and remove the filter’s plastic packaging.
To open, press both buttons located on the side of the unit simultaneously and
gently pull the top and bottom halves apart.
3. Remove the protective plastic wrap from the round HEPA Filter “O” and the DC
adapter.
4. Put the HEPA filter back into the base, in either orientation.
5. To close, align the top and bottom halves and press them together until both side
buttons click into place. The housing will attach in all four directions.

OPERATION
1. Ensure that the plastic wrap has been removed from the filter, and
the filter has been replaced in the unit. Plug the DC jack into the back
of the unit. Then, connect the Power Adapter to a working outlet.
2. Tap Power Button
to turn on the air purifier. The air purifier will
start automatically on Low until another cleaning level is selected.
3. To shut off, tap the Power Button
once.
4. Use the Cleaning Level button
to choose a different
cleaning speed.

Auto-Off Timer
The Timer option allows you to select how long the air purifier will run before it
automatically shuts off. There are three pre-set run times: 2, 4, and 8 hours. Do
not use this option if you want the air purifier to run continuously. To set the
timer, tap the Timer button until the desired setting (2, 4 or 8 hours) is
illuminated. To exit the Timer mode, tap until the Timer button light shuts off.
Sleep Mode
Pressing the Sleep Mode button sets the unit to the lowest speed for
ultra-quiet nighttime operation while dimming control panel LEDs.
Filter Check/Reset
Maintenance: Vacuum the pre-filter every 2–4 weeks (or as needed) to remove
dust, fur, and large particles using a nozzle or brush attachment. Note: Other
filter layers cannot be cleaned.
Replacement: This air purifier model has a Filter Check Light to remind you
when it is time to replace the HEPA Filter based on the air purifier’s hours of
use.
When the Filter Reset Light illuminates, it is time to replace the 3-in-1 Certified
HEPA “O” Filter (HRFO1)

1. Unplug the air purifier.
2. Open it and remove the old filter.
3. Insert the new “O” filter (remove plastic wrap first).
4. Close the air purifier. Plug it in. Turn it on.
5. Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds to turn off the light.

Vacuum the pre-filter every 2–4 weeks (or as needed) to remove dust, fur, and large
particles using a nozzle or brush attachment. Note: Other filter layers cannot be
cleaned. For best cleaning performance, replace the filter every 9–12 months.
These replacement intervals are intended as guidelines only. Performance of any filter
media is dependent upon the concentration of particles going through the system.
High concentrations of particles such as dust, pet dander, and smoke will reduce the
useful performance of the filters.
NOTE: The HEPA Filter is not washable. DO NOT immerse in water.
WARNING: FILTERS MAY BE HARMFUL IF INGESTED. AVOID BREATHING DUST
WHEN CHANGING FILTERS.
RESET FILTER CHECK INDICATOR
After you have replaced the filter, plug the unit back in. The Filter Reset Light will
remain on until it is reset.
REPLACEMENT FILTERS (CONTINUED)

To reset the Filter Check/Reset Light:
With the unit powered ON, press and hold the Filter Reset button for 3
seconds until light turns off. The light will stay off until the next filter needs
replacing.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
We recommend that you clean the air purifier at least once every 3 months and before
extended storage. Before cleaning, ensure the unit is turned off. Use only a dry cloth to
wipe the external surfaces of the air purifier.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH, OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
If your Air Purifier will not be used for more than 30 days, we recommend that you:
• Remove the HEPA Filter from the unit.
• Wrap the HEPA Filter in an air-tight plastic bag.
CLEANING PRE-FILTER
Every 2–4 weeks (or as needed), vacuum the pre-filter using a nozzle or brush
attachment to remove dust, fur, and large particles. Note: Other filter layers cannot be
cleaned. Refer to GETTING STARTED and follow steps 1, 2 and 4-5.
Once you have the air purifier open, remove the filter.
To vacuum-clean the pre-filter, hold the filter and run a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle
or brush attachment along the filter to pick-up the dirt and particles. Repeat along
the entire surface of the filter.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My Air Purifier is starting to make noise and the air output is less. What’s wrong?
The filter may be dirty. High amounts of particles can block the pores in the filter and
stop the air from moving through it. Replace the Filter. The HEPA Filter should be
replaced every 9-12 months. Please note these are guidelines only and filters should
be checked periodically as individual home conditions may vary. To ensure the unit
continues to perform properly, replace with Certified Honeywell Filters.
How long should I run my Air Purifier?
In general, the unit will be most effective when doors and windows are closed. It is
recommended that you run your air purifier while you are at home to help clean the air.
If desired or conditions warrant, you may run your air purifier 24 hours a day.
Can I wash any of the filters in my Air Purifier?
No. Washing the filters with water will ruin them. The Pre-Filter can be vacuum
cleaned. Refer to the CLEANING PRE-FILTER section.

What are VOCs?
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are emitted from various solids and liquids such
as paints, cleaning supplies, building materials, and permanent markers. Some of
these compounds have higher concentrations indoors than outside.

1. Seleccione un lugar firme, nivelado y plano. Asegúrese que la unidad esté a más
de 15 cm de distancia de la pared o muebles más cercanos para que la rejilla
no esté bloqueada. Los purificadores de aire portátiles son más eficaces en las
habitaciones donde todas las puertas y ventanas estén cerradas.
NOTA: si la unidad se coloca sobre una alfombra de color claro, se debe utilizar un
tapete o alfombrilla debajo del aparato para evitar manchas. Esto es especialmente
importante en hogares con contaminación por fumar, chimeneas, o donde se
prenden velas.
2. Abra la unidad para acceder al adaptador de CC y retire el embalaje de plástico
del filtro. Para abrir, presione ambos botones ubicados en el costado de la unidad,
simultáneamente y separe suavemente las mitades superior e inferior.
3. Retire la envoltura de plástico protectora del Filtro “O” HEPA y del adaptador de CC.
4. Vuelva a colocar el filtro HEPA en la base, en cualquier orientación.
5. Para cerrar, alinee las mitades superior e inferior y presiónelas juntas hasta que ambos
botones laterales encajen en su lugar. La carcasa se fijará en las cuatro direcciones.

OPERACIÓN
1. Asegúrese de que se haya retirado la envoltura de plástico del filtro y que

Temporizador de Apagado Automático
La opción del Temporizador le permite seleccionar cuánto tiempo funcionará
el purificador de aire antes de que se apague automáticamente. Existen tres
tiempos de operación preestablecidos: 2, 4, y 8 horas. No use esta opción si
desea que el purificador de aire funcione continuamente. Para configurar el
temporizador, presione el botón del Temporizador hasta que el se ilumine el
ajuste deseado (2, 4 u 8 horas). Para salir del modo del Temporizador,
presione hasta que la luz del botón del Temporizador se apague.
Modo de Sueño
Al presionar el botón de Modo de Sueño, la unidad se configura a la velocidad
más baja para un funcionamiento nocturno ultra silencioso, mientras atenúa
los LEDs del panel de control.
Revisión/Reinicio del Filtro
Mantenimiento: Aspire el prefiltro cada 2-4 semanas (o según sea necesario)
para eliminar el polvo, el pelo, y las partículas grandes utilizando un accesorio
de boquilla o de cepillo. Nota: Otras capas del filtro no se pueden limpiar.
Reemplazo: Este modelo de purificador de aire tiene una luz de Revisión del
Filtro para recordarle cuándo es el momento de reemplazar el Filtro HEPA en
función de las horas de uso del purificador de aire.
Cuando se enciende la Luz de Reinicio del Filtro, es momento de reemplazar
el Filtro “O” Certificado HEPA 3 en 1 (HRFO1).

Estos intervalos de reemplazo están pensados únicamente como pautas. El
rendimiento de cualquier medio filtrante depende de la concentración de partículas

Para reiniciar la Luz de Revisión/Reinicio del Filtro:
Con la unidad ENCENDIDA, presione y mantenga presionado el botón de
Reinicio del Filtro durante 3 segundos hasta que la luz se apague. La luz
permanecerá apagada hasta que el siguiente filtro necesite ser reemplazado.
LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAMIENTO
Le recomendamos que limpie el purificador de aire al menos una vez cada 3 meses
y antes de un almacenamiento prolongado. Antes de limpiar, asegúrese de que la
unidad esté apagada. Utilice sólo un paño seco para limpiar las superficies externas
del purificador de aire.
NO USE AGUA, CERA, ABRILLANTADOR, NI NINGUNA SOLUCIÓN QUÍMICA.
Si el Purificador de Aire no se utilizará durante más de 30 días, le recomendamos que:
• Retire el Filtro HEPA de la unidad.
• Envuelva el Filtro HEPA en una bolsa de plástico hermética.
LIMPIEZA DEL PREFILTRO
Cada 2–4 semanas (o según sea necesario), aspire el prefiltro utilizando un accesorio
de boquilla o cepillo para eliminar el polvo, el pelo y las partículas grandes. Nota: Otras
capas del filtro no se pueden limpiar.

Una vez que tenga el purificador de aire abierto, retire el filtro.
Para limpiar el prefiltro con aspiradora, sostenga el filtro y utilice una aspiradora con
un accesorio de boquilla o de cepillo a lo largo del filtro para recoger la suciedad y las
partículas. Repita por de toda la superficie del filtro.
PREGUNTAS MÁS FRECUENTES
Mi Purificador de Aire está empezando a hacer ruido y la salida de aire es menor.¿Qué pasa?
El filtro puede estar sucio. La alta concentración de partículas pueden bloquear los poros del filtro
y evitar que el aire pase. Cambie el Filtro. El Filtro HEPA debe reemplazarse cada 9-12 meses. Por
favor tenga en cuenta que estas son solo pautas y los filtros deben revisarse periódicamente, ya
que las condiciones individuales del hogar pueden variar. Para garantizar que la unidad continúe
funcionando correctamente, reemplace con Filtros Certificados de Honeywell.
¿Cuánto tiempo debo operar mi Purificador de Aire?
En general, la unidad será más eficaz cuando las puertas y ventanas estén cerradas.
Se recomienda que opere su purificador de aire cuando esté en casa para ayudar a
limpiar el aire. Si lo desea o las condiciones lo justifican, puede operar su purificador
de aire las 24 horas del día.
¿Puedo lavar alguno de los filtros en mi Purificador de Aire?
No. Lavar los filtros con agua los arruinará. El Prefiltro se puede limpiar con
aspiradora. Consulte la sección LIMPIEZA DEL PREFILTRO.
