Button/Coin Battery Warnings

a button cell or coin battery.
• DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested.
• A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause
Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
• KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
• Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected
to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.

Button/Coin Battery Warnings
This symbol means:
INGESTION HAZARD: This product
contains a button cell or coin battery.
1. Remove and immediately recycle or
dispose of used batteries according to
local regulations and keep away from
children. Do NOT dispose of batteries
in household trash or incinerate.
2. Even used batteries may cause
severe injury or death.
3. Call a local poison control center
for treatment information.
4. Non-rechargeable batteries
are not to be recharged.
5. Do not force discharge, recharge,
disassemble, heat above 158°F or
incinerate. Doing so may result in injury
due to venting, leakage or explosion
resulting in chemical burns.
6. Ensure the batteries are installed
correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
7. Do not mix old and new batteries,
different brands or types of batteries,
such as alkaline, carbon-zinc,
or rechargeable batteries.
8. Remove and immediately recycle or
dispose of batteries from equipment
not used for an extended period of
time according to local regulations.
9. Always completely secure the battery
compartment. If the battery compartment
does not close securely, stop using
the product, remove the batteries,
and keep them away from children.

Instructions
Note: Before first use, remove pull tab from battery compartment.
1. Push the OFF ON button to turn caliper on.
2. To toggle measurement between inches and millimeters, press in/mm button.
3. With jaws closed, press ZERO to set readout to 0.
4. To measure outside of object, set the bottom prongs outside object being measured.
Slide the jaws together until they gently contact the item.
5. To measure inside of object, set the top prongs inside object being measured.
Spread prongs apart until they touch surface of object.
6. When finished, press OFF ON to turn off Caliper.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
1. Remove screw(s) and open battery compartment.
2. Remove battery and dispose of properly.
3. Insert new battery in correct polarity, close battery compartment and replace screw(s).

normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death,
injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages
arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us
with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation
of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the
defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect
to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a
replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine
there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope
of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state.
