INSTRUCTIONS (Instructions are general for all MB-3 Models. Some of the below information may not pertain to your specific model. Check list above for parts and
accessories that go with your particular machine):
• Insert the grounded Power Supply Cord into a grounded outlet.
o IMPORTANT: THE PRODUCT MUST BE GROUNDED.
o WARNING: INPROPER CONNECTION OF THE EQUIPMENT GROUNDING CONDUCTOR CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
• Fit the hose over the steel tube protruding from the front-end cap of the power unit. Tighten the adjustable clamp to keep the hose securely on the dryer.
• Start the blower:
o 1-Speed: Push the On/Off Switch from left to right.
o Variable: Turn knob from low, clockwise to high.
o ***If you are only using one motor at a time, alternate use of each as to wear the carbon brushes evenly***.
• Attach or remove the attachments to or from the hose to control the air velocity.
CAUTION: If your machine has suction but does not clean when the hose is attached, remove the hose from the suction end and place it on the blower
end. Blow out the hose, it may be clogged.

Replacing carbon brushes (ABC-3: should be changed after about 500 hours of use):
1. The front motor needs to be removed to access the back motor.
a. Long Phillips and long flathead are needed to remove the rear motor’s carbon brushes.
2. Remove front endcap.
3. Find wire going to carbon brush and use flathead screwdriver to loosen tab.
4. Use Philips screwdriver to remove carbon brush mounting bracket.
5. Install tab into new carbon brush and replace mounting bracket.
Replacing / Cleaning Filter (Filter MVC-56F):
1. Pull out filter from backend and replace with new or shake out.
a. You can rinse the filter and reuse, BUT IT MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE PUTTING BACK INTO THE MACHINE.
b. Replace it with a new filter after 3 rinses.
Mounting to the wall: Your Master Blaster can be mounted to a wall with the wall mount bracket. Mollies should be used to secure mounting bracket when attaching
to sheet rock. Ideally, one of the screws should go into a wall stud. Level wall mount bracket in desired position and mark screw location with pencil within screw
holes. Once bracket is securely mounted, the Master Blaster can be hung by the wheel axle located on the Intake side of the Master Blaster Wall Mount Bracket.
WARRANTY:
This machine carries a Five Year Limited* Warranty on the unit and the motor.
There is a One Year Limited* Warranty on Parts, Switches, and Cords.
*MetroVac will repair any defective or malfunctioning product at no charge, or replace it (if it is deemed unrepairable), during the warranty period, with the following
exceptions:
• Mechanical alterations made to the machine will void the warranty.
• The warranty does not cover physical damage made to the machine, improper electrical connections, or water damage.
• Warranty does not cover carbon brushes, carbon brush wear, filters, or general maintenance.
• Removal of the date stamp code from the machine will void the warranty.
*Customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from our facility.

Warranty benefits are only available on MetroVac products that are purchased from MetroVac or authorized MetroVac dealers. The manufacturer's
warranty is not transferable when sold by unauthorized retailers. MetroVac does not participate in Amazon’s extended warranties.

• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
• Do not use without dustbag and/or filters in place.
• Turn off controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may be present.
• To avoid electric shock, do not use it on wet surfaces, do not expose to rain; store indoors.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit into an outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the
plug in any way.
