Important Safety Instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
• This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age
and older and by persons with physical, sensory or mental
impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are
properly supervised or have been informed about how to
use of the product in asafe manner and understand the
potential dangers.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must
not be performed by children unless they are older than
8years of age and under supervision.
• Children under 8 years of age must be kept away from the
appliance and its power cord.
• If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced in
aprofessional service centre in order to prevent
adangerous situation. It is forbidden to use the appliance
with the power cord damaged.
• This appliance is not designed to be controlled using an
external timer switch or aremote control.
• Wipe the waffle plates with asoft sponge slightly
dampened in warm water.

WARNING:
Hot surface.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higher
if the appliance is in operation. Take care not to touch
the hot plate or the upper cover. The appliance may
remain hot even after being switched off. Before cleaning,
maintenance or other manipulation, make sure that the
appliance is completely cooled down.
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains socket, make sure that the nominal voltage indicated on the label of the appliance matches the voltage
of the socket to which you want to connect the appliance.
• Connect the appliance only to aproperly grounded socket.
• This product is designed for household use only. It is not intended for use in areas such as:
- staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces;
- hotel or motel rooms andother living areas;
- agricultural farms;
- bed and breakfast establishments.
• Do not use the appliance in an industrial environment or outdoors or for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
• Do not place the appliance on windowsills, sink drain trays or unstable surfaces. Always place the appliance on astable, flat and dry surface.
• Do not place the appliance on or near an electric or gas stove, do not place it in the vicinity of naked fire or appliances that are sources of heat.
• To prevent arisk of electric shock, do not submerge any part of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• This appliance may only be used with the original waffle maker plates supplied with it.
• During operation, sufficient space for air circulation above and on all sides of the appliance should be provided. Do not use the appliance near
flammable materials such as curtains, kitchen towels, etc.
• This appliance is intended for the preparation of waffles only. The appliance is not used to prepare other foods, e.g. for flambéing.
• After each use, clean the surface of the plates as described in the Maintenance and Cleaning chapter.
• Always switch the appliance off and unplug it from the mains socket when left unattended, after use and before cleaning or moving. Allow the
appliance to fully cool down before moving, cleaning or storing.
• Make sure there is no batter left on the waffle plates before moving.
• When disconnecting the power cord from the socket, always pull the plug, not the cord. Otherwise, damage to the power cord or the socket could
occur.
• Make sure the power cord does not hang over the edge of atable and that it is not touching ahot surface.
• To avoid the danger of injury by electrical shock, do not repair the appliance yourself or make any adjustments to it. Have all repairs or adjustments
performed at an authorised service centre. By tampering with the appliance, you expose yourself to the risk of losing your legal rights regarding
faulty performance or warranty for quality.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Before first use, remove the appliance and its accessories form the
packaging and remove all promotional labels and tags. Check that
neither the appliance nor any of its components is damaged.
• Grasp the waffle maker by the handle and lift off the top plate. Wipe
the waffle plates with asoft sponge slightly dampened with warm
water. Then wipe dry with aclean cloth. Make sure both plates are
clean and dry.
• Before use, it is recommended to rub both plates with asmall amount
of vegetable oil. Spread evenly. Remove excess oil using apaper
kitchen towel.
• We recommend turning on the waffle maker at maximum temperature
for 3 to 5 minutes to burn the plates and remove any dirt and odour.
During this process, you may notice aslight smoke or aslight smell.
This is anormal event which disappears during use.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
1. Insert the mains cord plug into apower socket. The power light will
come on and stay on as long as the waffle maker is running.
2. Turn the temperature control to “MAX” and leave the top plate
covered. The waffle maker will start preheating, which takes about
10 minutes. Temperature control indicator light will be on.
3. When the temperature control light goes off, the waffle maker is
preheated.
4. Set the temperature control to the desired toasting level. Moving
the temperature control to the right to “MAX” sets adarker degree
of browning, while moving the dial to the left to “LOW” sets alighter
degree of browning. If you are using the waffle maker for the first
time, we recommend that you set the temperature control to
approximately halfway to “MIDDLE” and then adjust as needed.
5. While the waffle maker is heating up, prepare the waffle batter.
6. Grasp the waffle maker by the handle and lift off the top plate.
Carefully pour the waffle batter onto the bottom plate. Make sure it is
evenly spread, or spread it with asuitable heat-resistant squeegee.
7. Carefully lower the top plate. Avoid excessive force to prevent the
batter from escaping from the plates.
8. Let the waffles toast for 5 to 7 minutes as needed. Check the state of
browning regularly.
9. Once the waffles are toasted, flip off the top plate using the handle
and carefully remove the waffles using awooden spoon or suitable
heat-resistant plastic utensil. Never use metal or sharp objects. You
could scratch the non-stick surface of the waffle maker plates.
10. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
Warning:
Do not use metal utensils, kitchen knives, forks or
other similar items. This could scratch the non-stick
coating of the plate.
Note:
If the waffles are getting burned to the plates, we
recommend brushing them with asmall amount of
vegetable oil.
11. Once you are not using the waffle maker, turn the temperature
control to “STOP”, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and
allow the waffle maker to cool before cleaning it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning, unplug the power cord from the mains socket and
allow the appliance to cool down.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, or any substances
to clean any parts of the appliance that could damage the surface
of the appliance. Do not use wire cloths or sponges with wires, etc.
to clean the surface of the waffle plates. No part of this appliance is
dishwasher safe.
Warning:
To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not submerge
the appliance, plug or power cord in water or any
other liquid.
• Grasp the waffle maker by the handle and lift off the top plate. Wipe
the waffle plates with asoft sponge slightly dampened with warm
water. Then wipe dry with aclean cloth. Make sure both plates are
clean and dry.
• Wipe the appliance outer surface with asoft sponge slightly
moistened in warm water. Then wipe dry with aclean cloth.
• After cleaning, we recommend rubbing asmall amount of vegetable
oil on both plates. Spread evenly. Remove excess oil using apaper
kitchen towel.
Storage
• If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, unplug it
from the power socket, let it cool down, and clean it following the
instructions provided above.
• Before storing, ensure that the appliance and all accessories are
thoroughly clean and dry.
• Store the appliance in adry, clean, and well-ventilated place away
from extreme temperatures and out of the reach of children or pets.
