HOW TO USE
POWER
SELECTION BUTTONS
Used to select fan speeds, light brightness (in Lamp Mode),
timer settings, and airow settings after each respective
function has been selected.
FAN SPEEDS (10)
Press to adjust between fan speeds. Without selecting another
feature, -/+ buttons adjust fan speed by default.
90° AND 180° PANORAMIC OSCILLATION
®
Press to turn desired oscillation range ON/OFF. Chosen range
is backlit when selected.
VERTICAL OSCILLATION (3)
The EOS 9 has a total travel of 110° (-20° to 90°) with maximum
travel set points at 30°, 60°, 90°. To set, press the Vertical Oscillation
button to turn on, then use -/+ buttons to select desired range.
1: -20° to 30° | 2: -20°to 60° | 3: -20° to 90°
TIP: Combine both horizontal and vertical oscillation for
Omniwave oscillation
12 HOUR TIMER
Press, then use -/+ buttons to set the number of hours unit will run.
AIRFLOW MODES (4)
0: Vornado's Standard Vortex Action
1: Sleep Mode - Fan speed will reduce every 30 minutes over
two hours until the fan powers off, unless a timer is set.
2: Breeze Mode - Fan speed uctuates (up to selected
maximum speed) to simulate natural breeze.
3: Cyclic Mode - Fan speed will rise to maximum selected
speed then fall at a consistent interval.
LAMP MODE
Press to turn Lamp Mode ON/OFF. This feature turns the fan off
and moves the fan's head vertically to allow the unit to operate
as a lamp. The fan will not turn on while in Lamp Mode. The
Timer, Light Settings, and Display Lock can still be utilized in
this mode.
LIGHT SETTINGS (5)
Cycle through Light Settings by pressing the Light icon and use
the - and + buttons to select brightness.
DISPLAY LOCK
Hold for 3 seconds to turn ON/OFF.

2. Add a few drops of essential oil to the pad.
NOTE: Use caution when adding essential oil. Do not oversoak the
scent pad.

This pad is unscented. To add your favorite essential oil to the pad, please follow the below instructions:
WARNING: The material used on the scent-ready pad cap and pad
holder are designed specically for use with essential oils. To maintain
product longevity, do not put essential oils anywhere else on the product.

CLEANING
GRILLE & BLADE REMOVAL No tools required.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock and injury to persons, unplug the circulator before removing grille and blade.
1. Ensure unit is turned off and unplugged.
2. Rotate fan head to face upward, with the front of the towards the ceiling.
3. Locate the seam separation point between the two grilles. Pull apart the grilles at the magnetic seam.
4. Rotate fan head to face forward at 90°, parallel to the oor and remove the back grille.
5. To remove the blade, twist and unscrew the release knob CLOCKWISE.
WARNING: Pinch Point Hazard - This product has strong magnets that attach the
grille halves. Please exercise caution during reassembly to avoid any pinch points.
6. Pull the blade straight off the shaft, away from the motor. Note
the front of the blade and blade shaft both have a attened
side. The blade can only t in one conguration.
7. The grilles, blade, and release knob can be cleaned with water.
Be sure all pieces are completely dry before reassembly. The
motor housing can ONLY be cleaned with a dry cloth.
8. Reassemble by replacing the blade on the motor shaft,
aligning the at surface of the shaft to the at surface on the
front of the blade.
9. Twist and screw release knob onto blade, turning COUNTER-
CLOCKWISE.
10. With the fan head facing forward parallel to the oor, reattach
the back grille. Rotate the fan head to face upward, towards
the ceiling and reattach the front grille. Gently guide the grilles
together to let the magnets pull and fully snap the grilles
together.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION
Unit fails to power on. Unit is not plugged in. Plug Power Cord into electrical outlet.
Ensure power button has been pressed. Once the power button is pressed, ALL buttons and displays should
light up.
Unit is damaged or in need of repair. Cease usage and unplug. Contact Consumer Service for assistance.
Fuse needs to be replaced. See IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for how to replace the fuse or contact
Consumer Service.
The outlet is worn or damaged. Try another outlet or contact a qualied electrician.
Ensure both grille halves are properly installed.
Unit is not producing
sufcient amount of air.
Ensure unit is set to highest setting for maximum air circulation.
Airow is blocked. Remove obstruction.
Adjust direction of airow toward the user.
GFCI has tripped. Under certain conditions, it is possible for a reset GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet to trip when the
user is changing speeds on a Vornado circulator. In this event, change to an outlet that is not connected to a
GFCI device. It could also indicate a weak or defective GFCI outlet. Contact a qualied electrician to check the
GFCI outlet.
Remote Control is not
working.
Remote battery needs charged. See REMOTE CHARGING.
Remote has not been successfully paired. Refer to REMOTE SETUP for instructions.

Ensure there are no obstructions in the path of the fan.
Fan is on, but the blade

Ensure that the front and back grille are secured together with the magnets. To avoid injury, the fan will not turn
on if the grilles are not secured.
Fan is on, but the settings
cannot be changed.
Ensure the Display Lock is not active and icon on display is not lit up. To deactivate, press and hold Display
Lock button
for 3 seconds.

Vornado® Whole Room Circulator (“Product”) is free from defects in material
or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of acquisition. If any
such defect is discovered within the warranty period, Vornado, at its discretion,
will repair or replace the Product at no cost.
For warranty service: Call 1-800-234-0604 or email [email protected] to obtain
a Return Authorization (“RA”). Please have or include your Product’s model
number and serial number, as well as your name, address, city, state, zip code,
e-mail, and phone number when contacting Vornado for warranty service. To file
a contactless warranty claim, visit vornado.com/contact-us.
After receiving the RA form, ship your Product to: Vornado Air LLC Attn: Warranty
& Repair 415 East 13th Street Andover, KS 67002. For your convenience, please
have your model number and serial number when contacting Vornado with
service inquiries. To assure proper handling, packages must be clearly marked
with the RA number. Packages not clearly marked with the RA number may be
refused at the receiving dock. Please allow 2-3 weeks for warranty service and
return of your Product after the Product is received.
This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from abuse of the Product,
modification, alteration, mishandling, improper maintenance, commercial use
or repair or service of the Product by anyone other than Vornado; damages
which occur in shipment or are attributed to acts of God. Improper product use,
which includes using an external device that alters or converts the voltage or
frequency of electricity, or shipping a Vornado product to a country not intended
for use will void all warranties. Any unauthorized product modification, repair
by unauthorized repair center, or use of non-approved replacement parts is not
recommended and any consequences will not be covered by support services
or product warranties. The product warranty will be honored only on models
that are being used in the country intended. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS

WARNING: Pinch Point Hazard - This product has strong magnets that attach the
grille halves. Please exercise caution during reassembly to avoid any pinch points.
1. Ensure unit is turned off and unplugged.
2. Rotate fan head to face upward, with the front of the towards the ceiling.
3. Locate the seam separation point between the two grilles. Pull apart the grilles at the magnetic seam.
4. Rotate fan head to face forward at 90°, parallel to the oor and remove the back grille.
5. To remove the blade, twist and unscrew the release knob CLOCKWISE.
6. Pull the blade straight off the shaft, away from the motor. Note
the front of the blade and blade shaft both have a attened
side. The blade can only t in one conguration.
7. The grilles, blade, and release knob can be cleaned with water.
Be sure all pieces are completely dry before reassembly. The
motor housing can ONLY be cleaned with a dry cloth.
8. Reassemble by replacing the blade on the motor shaft,
aligning the at surface of the shaft to the at surface on the
front of the blade.
9. Twist and screw release knob onto blade, turning COUNTER-
CLOCKWISE.
10. With the fan head facing forward parallel to the oor, reattach
the back grille. Rotate the fan head to face upward, towards
the ceiling and reattach the front grille. Gently guide the grilles
together to let the magnets pull and fully snap the grilles
together.

on if the grilles are not secured.
Fan is on, but the settings
cannot be changed.
Ensure the Display Lock is not active and icon on display is not lit up. To deactivate, press and hold Display
Lock button
for 3 seconds.
