HOW TO USE
Before use, check appliance for visible damage. DO NOT USE THIS HEATER if there is evidence of damage. If any damage is found, contact
Vornado Air LLC at 1-800-234-0604.
1. Use integrated handle on top of heater for lifting and carrying.
2. Position heater so airow is not obstructed.
3. Plug power cord into standard grounded wall outlet.
4. Press the power button ( ) and select Mode ( ). Room temperature will illuminate on both heat settings and fan only mode. Next, set
thermostat to desired temperature using the (+) and (-) buttons.
5. Press ( ) to turn oscillation on and off. Unit has 70° degrees oscillation range.
6. To enter Nighttime mode, press ( ). All lights will turn off with the exception of the Nighttime ( ) button. The rst touch of the controls will
wake up the unit and dim to off again until you exit the nighttime mode. To exit nighttime mode, press ( ) again.
7. Set timer to automatically power the unit off by pressing ( ). The number of hours will display above the icon. Using the (+) or (-) buttons,
select the amount of time in one-hour intervals, up to 12 hours. To cancel the timer operation, select 0 hours.
8. Lock the controls by pressing and holding ( ) for 3 seconds. None of the control buttons will function or be illuminated until the controls are
unlocked by pressing and holding ( ) again for 3 seconds. If any of the controls are pressed while the unit is in lock mode, the lock icon will
ash indicating the need to unlock the controls before continuing use. If the unit is in Lock mode and is also in Nighttime Mode, then only the
Nighttime button and Lock buttons will be illuminated. Pressing any button will wake the heat setting, room temp and set temp displays. If the
unit wakes, then the Lock button will illuminate and ash for 3 seconds to indicate that the product is locked. Follow the instructions above to
unlock and access the controls.
9. When turning the unit off by pressing ( ), a 20 second timer will display and the unit will run in fan only mode to remove excess heat from the
unit before shutting off.

REMOTE CONTROL
REMOTE FUNCTIONS BATTERY INSTALLATION & REPLACEMENT
The remote control for this fan operates with two (2) AAA batteries
(included). To install the batteries, gently press down and slide the
battery door downward, following the direction indicated by the tex-
tured arrow. Insert the new batteries, then carefully slide the battery
door back into place, starting at the bottom and ensuring it remains
in alignment within the door track.
Note:
Remove the batteries from the remote control if it will not be
used for an extended period. Always replace dead batteries immedi-
ately and avoid storing them in the remote.
WARNING: Choking Hazard. Keep small parts like batteries away
from children and pets.
Note: The remote requires a line-of-sight path to allow for the signal
to be received by the circulator. Position the unit so that the receiver
lens (on the Display) is visible from the remote control.

CLEANING
Because your heater moves a substantial amount of air, it will need regular cleaning. Cleaning the outside of the heater is recommended
on a weekly basis. If service is required, return your heater to Vornado. See WARRANTY for instructions.

vacuum any accumulated dust
off Front Outlet Grille.

4. Wipe down entire heater with a
soft, dry cloth.
Note: Do not modify the product
with any aftermarket accessory.
You should periodically blow
out the heater with pressurized
air to keep heat element and
motor clear of dust, hair and debris
that can build up inside the heater
as it moves air during use. This also
eliminates unwanted odors caused
by accumulation of these particles
inside the unit.

RESETTING YOUR VORNADO HEATER
Your Vornado Heater has a multilevel safety shut-off system designed
to prevent overheating. Overheating may occur when the inlets or
outlet are blocked. If this happens, the safety shut-off system cuts
power to the heater and you must manually reset the heater.
1. Power heater off, then unplug power cord.
2. Remove any obstructions.
3. Wait 5–10 minutes, allowing heater to cool down.
4. Plug in power cord and place heater in desired position.
5. Power heater On. Your Vornado Heater should now
function normally.
Note: If the safety shut-off system repeatedly shuts off your heater
or if it will not reset after following the above procedure, call
Vornado Consumer Services Department toll-free at
1-800-234-0604.
During the off-season or after extended periods of non-use, you may
choose to store your heater. To ensure long life of the product, it is
recommended to store your heater by following these instructions:
1. Unplug power cord and bundle loosely within the cord storage slot
on the back of the unit. DO NOT wrap power cord around the unit.
2. Cover, or place back in retail carton if available. This prevents
heater from accumulating dust over time.
3. Store heater in cool and dry location.

DISPOSAL
Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally
responsible manner.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION
Unit fails to power on. Unit is not plugged in. Plug Power Cord into electrical outlet.
Household circuit breaker has tripped or blown fuse. Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse. See IMPORTANT
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS booklet.
Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) has tripped. Ground fault circuit interrupters are not recommended for
use and may cause nuisance tripping. If tripping does occur, relocate the unit to a standard wall outlet.
Unit has overheated. Automatic Safety Shut Off has initiated. See RESET HEATER.
Unit is damaged or in need of repair. Cease usage and unplug. Contact Consumer Service for assistance.
Unit fails to power off. Check to see if the unit is locked. If lock icon is lit, hold down on icon (for 3 seconds) until the light turns off. If
the unit is unlocked and still does not power off, unplug unit and contact consumer service.
Unit is not producing
sufcient amount of heat.
Ensure unit is set to High Heat and thermostat is set to highest temperature setting.
Close all doors and windows to trap heat.
Allow unit to fully circulate heat throughout room; may take several minutes.
Remote Control is not
working.
The batteries are dead. Replace with two (2) new AAA batteries. Refer to Remote Control section.

CÓMO USAR
Antes del empleo, revise daños visibles en el aparato. NO UTILICE ESTE CALEFACTOR si hay evidencia de daño. Si encuentra algún daño,
contáctese con Vornado Air LLC al número 1-800-234-0604.
1. Utilice el mango integrado para levantarlo y transportarlo.
2. Coloque el calefactor de modo que el ujo de aire no esté obstruido.
3. Enchufe el cable de energía en un tomacorriente estándar de pared conectado a tierra.
4. Torque el Botón de Poder ( ) y seleccione Modo o Solo ventilación ( ). La temperatura ambiente se iluminará tanto en la conguración de calor como en el
modo de solo ventilador. Luego, ajuste el termostato a la temperatura deseada usando los botones (+) y (-).
5. Presione ( ) para activar y desactivar la oscilación. La unidad tiene un rango de oscilación de 70° grados.
6. Para ingresar al modo Nocturno, presione ( ). Todas las luces se apagarán con la excepción del botón de Nocturno ( ). El primer toque de los controles
encenderá las luces de la unidad que se apagarán nuevamente hasta que salga del modo nocturno. Para salir del modo nocturno, presione ( ) nuevamente.
7. Congure el temporizador para apagar automáticamente la unidad presionando ( ). La cantidad de horas se mostrará encima del ícono. Usando los botones
(+) o (-), seleccione la cantidad de tiempo en intervalos de una hora, hasta 12 horas. Para cancelar el funcionamiento del temporizador, seleccione 0 horas.
8. Bloquee los controles presionando y manteniendo ( ) durante 3 segundos. Ninguno de los botones de control funcionará ni se iluminarán hasta que los
controles se desbloqueen manteniendo presionado ( ) nuevamente durante 3 segundos. Si se presiona cualquiera de los controles mientras la unidad está en
modo de bloqueo, el ícono de bloqueo parpadeará indicando la necesidad de desbloquear los controles antes de continuar el uso. Si la unidad está en modo
de bloqueo y también está en modo nocturno, entonces solo se iluminarán el botón nocturno y los botones de bloqueo. Al pulsar cualquier botón se activarán
las pantallas de ajuste de calefacción, temperatura ambiente y temperatura establecida. Si la unidad se activa, el botón de bloqueo se iluminará y parpadeará
durante 3 segundos para indicar que el producto está bloqueado. Siga las instrucciones anteriores para desbloquear y acceder a los controles.
9. Al apagar la unidad presionando ( ), aparecerá un temporizador de 20 segundos y la unidad funcionará en modo de solo ventilador para eliminar el exceso de
calor de la unidad antes de apagarse.

CONTROL REMOTO
FUNCIONES REMOTAS COLOCACIÓN Y REEMPLAZO DE PILAS
El control remoto de este ventilador funciona con dos (2) pilas AAA
(incluidas). Para colocar las pilas, presione suavemente hacia abajo
y deslice la tapa de la batería hacia abajo, siguiendo la dirección
indicada por la echa texturizada. Inserte las nuevas pilas, luego
deslice cuidadosamente la tapa de la batería de regreso a su lugar,
comenzando por la parte inferior y asegurándose de que permanezca
alineada dentro de la ruta de la tapa.
Nota: Retire las pilas del control remoto si no se va a utilizar durante
un período prolongado. Siempre reemplace las pilas gastadas de
inmediato y evita guardarlas en el control remoto.
ADVERTENCIA: Peligro de asxia. Mantenga las piezas
pequeñas, como las pilas, fuera del alcance de los niños y las

LIMPIEZA
Dado que el calefactor mueve una gran cantidad de aire, necesitará una limpieza regular. Se recomienda limpiar el exterior del calefactor una

el uso. Esto también elimina los olores no

ALMACENAMIENTO
REINICIAR SU CALEFACTOR
Durante la temporada de desuso o luego de largos períodos sin
utilización, podría optar por guardar su calefactor. Para asegurar una
larga vida útil del producto, se recomienda guardar su calefactor
siguiendo las siguientes instrucciones:
Se recomienda una limpieza antes de su almacenamiento.
1. Desenchufe el cable de energía, enrolle el cable y colóquelo den-
tro de la bandeja de la parte trasera del calefactor. NO enrolle el
cable de alimentación alrededor de la unidad.
2. Cúbralo o vuelva a guardarlo en la caja de cartón, si dispone de
la caja. Esto evitará que se acumule polvo en el calefactor con el
tiempo.

RESTABLECER EL CALEFACTOR VORNADO
Su calefactor Vornado cuenta con un sistema de apagado de
seguridad de varios niveles diseñado para evitar el recalentamiento.
El sobrecalentamiento puede ocurrir cuando las entradas o salida
están bloqueadas. Si esto sucede, el sistema de apagado de
seguridad cortará la energía del calefactor de calor y necesitará
restablecer manualmente el calefactor.
1. Apague el calefactor y desenchufe el cable de alimentación.
2. Retire cualquier obstrucción.
3. Espere 5 a 10 minutos, lo que permite que el calefactor se enfríe.
4. Conecte el cable de alimentación y coloque el calefactor en la
posición deseada.
5. Presione el botón de encendido. Su calefactor Vornado ahora
debería funcionar normalmente.
Nota: Si el sistema de seguridad de apagado apaga repetidamente
su calefactor o si no se reinicia después de seguir los pasos
anteriormente indicados, llame al Servicio al Consumidor de
Vornado al 1-800-234-0604.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
PROBLEMA POSIBLE CAUSA Y SOLUCIÓN
La unidad no se enciende. La unidad no está enchufada. Enchufe el cable de alimentación en el tomacorriente eléctrico.
El interruptor de circuito/la falla a tierra del hogar se desconectó o se quemó un fusible. Reinicie el disyuntor/interruptor de
circuito de accionamiento rápido o reemplace el fusible. Consulte el folleto INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD.
El interruptor de inclinación en la parte inferior de la unidad se ha desconectado y el sistema de apagado de seguridad ha
apagado la alimentación del calefactor. Coloque el calefactor en una supercie plana. Consulte FUNCIONES DE SEGURIDAD.
La unidad se ha sobrecalentado. El apagado de seguridad automático se ha iniciado. Consulte COMO REINICIAR SU
CALEFACTOR.
La unidad está dañada o necesita reparación. Suspenda el uso y desenchúfela. Comuníquese con el servicio de atención al
cliente para obtener asistencia.
La unidad no se apaga. Verique si la unidad está bloqueada. Si el ícono del candado está encendido, mantenga presionado el ícono (durante
3 segundos) hasta que la luz se apague. Si la unidad está desbloqueada y aún no se apaga, desenchufe la unidad y
comuníquese con el servicio al consumidor.
La unidad aa produce la canti-
dad necesaria de calor.
Asegúrese de que la unidad esté congurada en calor alto y que el termostato esté congurado en la temperatura más alta.
Cierre todas las puertas y ventanas para contener el calor.
Dejar que la unidad haga circular el calor por toda la sala puede llevar varios minutos.
El control remoto no funciona. Las pilas están agotadas. Reemplácelas con dos (2) pilas AAA nuevas. Consulte la sección Control remoto.

Calentador Para Todo El Ambiente Vornado® (“Producto”) estará libre de defectos de
materiales o fabricación durante un periodo de cinco (5) años a partir de la fecha de
adquisición. En caso de detectarse algún defecto de este tipo dentro del periodo de garantía,
Vornado, a su discreción, reparará o reemplazará el Producto sin costo alguno.

código postal, e-mail, y número de teléfono. O para presentar un reclamo de garantía sin

Esta garantía no se aplica a defectos generados por abuso del Producto, modicación,
alteración, manipulación indebida, mantenimiento inadecuado, uso comercial o reparación o
servicio del Producto por parte de una persona externa a Vornado, daños producidos durante
el envío o atribuidos a hechos fortuitos. El uso inadecuado del producto, que incluye el uso
de un dispositivo externo que altera o convierte el voltaje o la frecuencia de la electricidad,
o el envío de un producto Vornado a un país donde su uso no está previsto invalidará todas
las garantías. No se recomienda la modicación no autorizada del producto, la reparación
realizada por un centro de reparaciones no autorizado, o el uso de repuestos no aprobados, y
sus consecuencias no serán cubiertas por los servicios de soporte o las garantías del producto.
La garantía del producto tendrá validez solo para los modelos que se usan en el país previsto.
