1. Read all instructions before operating the
air purifier.
2. Place air purifier where it is not easily
overturned by persons in the household.
3. ALWAYS turn the air purifier controls to the
OFF position and unplug from the wall outlet
when not in use.
4. To disconnect the air purifier, press the Power
button to turn the unit OFF, grip the plug and
pull it from the wall outlet. NEVER pull by the
cord.
5. DO NOT use any product with a damaged cord
or plug or if product malfunctions, is dropped
or damaged in any manner. Keep the cord
away from heated surfaces.
6. DO NOT use air purifier outdoors.
7. DO NOT use air purifier unless it is fully
assembled.
8. DO NOT run power cord under carpets, and
DO NOT cover with throw rugs. Arrange cord
such that it will not be a tripping hazard.
9. DO NOT use air purifier where combustible
gases or vapors are present.
10. DO NOT expose the air purifier to rain, or use
near water, in a bathroom, laundry area or
other damp location.
11. The air purifier MUST be used in its upright
position.
12. DO NOT allow foreign objects to enter
ventilation or exhaust opening as this may
cause electric shock or damage to the air
purifier. DO NOT block air outlets or intakes.
13. Locate air purifier near the outlet and
DO NOT use with extension cord or
power strip.
14. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk
of shock, this plug is intended to fit only one
way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
15. A loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle)
and plug may cause overheating and a
distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified
electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
16. DO NOT sit, stand or place heavy objects on

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR AIR PURIFIER
GETTING STARTED
• Select a firm, level and flat location. For best airflow, locate the unit at least 3 feet from any wall
or furniture.
• When operating, large volumes of air are drawn toward the air purifier. Surrounding areas should be
cleaned and/or vacuumed frequently to prevent build-up of dust and other contaminates. This may also
help prolong the life of the filter. If the unit is placed on a light colored carpet, a small mat or rug should
be used underneath to prevent staining. This is especially important in homes with contamination from
smoking or fireplaces.

This model air purifier incorporates a 2-stage cleaning
system to help clean the air that passes through the
filter in the unit (Fig. 1).
Stage 1: Carbon Activated Pre-Filter layer traps larger
airborne particles and household odors*

microscopic airborne particles: dust, pollen,

OPERATION
• Ensure the air purifier is plugged into a
working electrical outlet.
• Press the power button (
) once. The unit
will start at high speed (Fig. 3).
• Press the power button again to select a different
cleaning level. A LED light will illuminate to indicate
which cleaning level you have selected.
(III = High, II = Medium, I = Low)
Portable air purifiers are more effective in rooms
where all doors and windows are closed. In general,
it is recommended that you run your air purifier
while you are at home to help clean the air.

INSTALLING THE DUAL ACTION HEPA-TYPE FILTERS
The Dual Action HEPA-Type
Filters with integrated
carbon pre-filter are supplied within the air purifier. They
are wrapped to ensure purity.
• Turn-off and then unplug the air purifier. While
pressing on the notches along the rear grille, pull
the grille towards you and remove it (See Fig. 2).
Gently push along the edge of the filter frame and
pull forward. If replacing used filters, you may pull the
black ribbon tabs to remove the filter. Repeat for the
second filter.
• Remove the protective plastic wrap from the
Dual Action HEPA-Type Filter(s).
• Place back into the air purifier housing with black
(activated carbon) side facing out towards the rear
grille and snap rear grille into place.
• Be sure to leave the black fabric ribbon accessible to
facilitate easy removal next time you have to replace
the filter(s).

HOW TO REPLACE YOUR FILTER
The Dual Action HEPA-Type Filter has a built-in odor adsorbing pre-filter. This Dual Action
Replacement Filter is not cleanable, and should be replaced every 4 months to help ensure optimal
performance.
The replacement interval is intended as a guideline only. Useful life expectancy of any filter media is
dependent upon the concentration of particles going through the system. High concentrations of particles
such as dust, pet dander and smoke will reduce the useful life of the filter.

ELECTRONIC FILTER CHECK REMINDER
This model air purifier has an electronic filter check to
remind you when to replace the Dual Action HEPA-Type
Filters based on the air purifier’s hours of use. A red LED
light will illuminate when it is time to replace the filters.
When the filters need to be replaced, the light
will remain on until it is RESET. You may unplug the air
purifier without interrupting the filter check.
You should periodically check the filter. Depending on
operating conditions, the filters should be replaced every
4 months.
REPLACE WITH DUAL ACTION HEPA-TYPE FILTER
To RESET the Electronic Filter Check:
When the filter check light remains on, it is time to replace the
Dual Action HEPA-Type Filters and reset the filter monitor. With the unit powered on, press the Filter Reset
button below the LED filter check light and hold for approximately 5 seconds until the light turns off
(Fig 4). Depending upon your individual usage (environment and hours used), you may need to replace
the filters more or less frequently. If the Dual Action HEPA-Type Filters are replaced before the red LED
light turns on, the Filter Reset button should be reset at the same time.
NOTE: The Dual Action HEPA-Type Filters are not washable. Do not immerse in water.

My Air Purifier is making noise and the air output is less. What’s wrong?
The Dual Action HEPA-Type Filter in your air purifier was shipped with a plastic bag over it to ensure
purity. Make sure the plastic bag has been removed before use.
The filters may be dirty. High amounts of particles can block the pores in the filter and stop the air from
moving through it. Replace the filter with the Dual Action HEPA-Type Replacement Filter
.
How long should I run my Air Purifier?
In general, it is recommended that you run your air purifier when you are at home to help clean the air.
If desired or conditions warrant, you may run your air purifier 24 hours a day. This unit will be more
effective when windows and doors are closed.
Can I wash my Dual Action HEPA-Type Filter?
No. Washing the Dual Action HEPA-Type Filter will destroy it.
How does the electronic filter check work?
The red filter check LED will illuminate when it is time to replace the filter after 4 months of operation
of the air purifier. Change the filter and reset the filter monitor.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We recommend that you clean the air purifier at least once every 3 months and before extended storage.
Use only a dry cloth to wipe the external surfaces of the air purifier. DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH,
OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
If your Air Purifier will not be used for more than 30 days, we recommend:
• Remove the HEPA-Type Filter from the unit.
• Place the HEPA-Type Filter in a plastic bag, seal the bag and store with the unit.

OPERACIÓN
• Asegúrese que el purificador de aire esté enchufado a un
tomacorriente operacional.
• Pulse una vez el botón de encendido (
).
La unidad iniciará en velocidad alta (Fig. 3).
• Pulse el botón de encendido nuevamente para seleccionar
un nivel de limpieza diferente. Una luz LED se iluminará para
indicar que nivel de limpieza ha seleccionado.

Los purificadores de aire portátiles son más eficaces si las
puertas y ventanas de la habitación donde se encuentran
están cerradas.
En general, se recomienda que opere su

Los Filtros Tipo HEPA de Doble Acción con prefiltro de
carbón integrado se suministran dentro del purificador

• Apague y desconecte el purificador de aire. Mientras
presiona las muescas a lo largo de la rejilla posterior,
tire de la rejilla hacia usted y retírela (Vea Fig. 2).
Empuje suavemente a lo largo del borde del marco
del filtro y tire hacia adelante. Si reemplaza los filtros
usados, puede tirar de las pestañas de cinta negra
para retirar el filtro. Repita con el segundo filtro.
• Retire la envoltura protectora de plástico del
Filtro(s) Tipo HEPA de Doble Acción.
• Vuelva a colocar en la carcasa del purificador de aire
con el lado negro hacia afuera, apuntando hacia la
rejilla posterior y encaje la rejilla posterior en su lugar.
• Asegúrese de dejar accesible la cinta de tela negra
para facilitar la extracción la próxima vez que tenga
que cambiar el filtro(s).

CÓMO REEMPLAZAR SU FILTRO
El filtro Tipo HEPA de Doble Acción tiene integrado un prefiltro adsorbe olores. Este filtro de reemplazo
de Doble Acción no se limpia, y debe reemplazarse cada 4 meses para garantizar su rendimiento óptimo.
El intervalo d reemplazo está diseñado sólo como una guía. La expectativa de vida útil de cualquier
material filtrante depende de la concentración de particulas a través del sistema. Las altas
concentraciones de particulas como polvo, caspa de mascotas y humo reducirán la vida útil
del filtro.

REVISAR ELECTRÓNICO DE VERIFICACIÓN DEL FILTRO
Este modelo de purificador de aire cuenta con un verificador
electrónico del filtro para recordarle cuándo debe reemplazar
los filtros Tipo HEPA de Doble Acción basado en las horas
de uso del purificador de aire. Una luz LED roja se iluminará
cuando sea momento de reemplazar los filtros.
Cuando sus filtros Tipo HEPA necesiten revisión, la luz
permanecerá encendida hasta que la REINICIE. Usted puede
desconectar el purificador de aire sin interrumpir la revisión
del filtro.
Usted debe revisar periódicamente su filtro. Dependiendo
de las condiciones de operación, los filtros deben ser
reemplazados cada 4 meses.
REEMPLACE CON FILTRO TIPO HEPA
Para REINICIAR el Verificador Electrónico del Filtro:
Cuando la luz de verificación del filtro permanezca encendida, es momento de reemplazar los filtros
Tipo HEPA de Doble Acción y reiniciar el monitor del filtro. Con la unidad encendida, presione el botón
de Reinicio del Filtro debajo de la luz LED de verificación del filtro y manténgalo presionado durante
aproximadamente 5 segundos hasta que la luz se apague (Fig. 4). Dependiendo de su uso individual
(ambiente y horas utilizadas), es posible que deba reemplazar los filtros con mayor o menor frecuencia.
Si los filtros Tipo HEPA de Doble Acción se reemplazan antes de que se encienda la luz LED roja, se debe
reiniciar al mismo tiempo el botón de Reinicio del Filtro.
NOTA: Los Filtros Tipo HEPA de Doble Acción no son lavables. No los sumerja en agua.

LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAMIENTO
Recomendamos que limpie su purificador de aire una vez cada 3 meses y cuando vaya a almacenarlo por un largo
tiempo. Utilice solamente un lienzo seco para limpiar la superficie exterior del purificador de aire. NO USE AGUA,
CERA NI PRODUCTOS QUÍMICOS.
PREGUNTAS MÁS FRECUENTES
Mi purificador de aire ha empezado a hacer ruido y cada vez sale menos aire. ¿Por qué?
El filtro tipo HEPA en su purificador de aire fue enviado cubierto con una bolsa de plástico para
asegurar su pureza. Asegúrese de retirar la bolsa de plástico antes de utilizarse.
Los filtros pueden estar sucios. Grandes cantidades de particulas pueden bloquear los poros
