TPMS Sensor Relearn Failure Troubleshooting Guide
1. Vehicle Compatibility Check
Confirm your vehicle is supported by the tool. Unsupported vehicles cannot be relearned.
2. Tool Self-Check
1. Verify batteries are installed with correct polarity.
2. Remove the insulating sheet between batteries and metal contacts.
3. Low battery voltage weakens LF signal and fails to activate sensors.
4. Contact support for tool hardware defects.
3. Vehicle Not in Relearn Mode
5. Failed to follow correct steps to enter Relearn Mode.
6. Dashboard does NOT show Tire Learning Active”.
7. The vehicle horn usually beeps when Relearn Mode is activated successfully.
4. Sensor Not Activated/Awakened (Most Common)
1. GM models MUST follow: Left Front Right Front Right Rear Left Rear.
2. Incorrect order no horn beep, relearn failure.
3. Relearn session timed out system exits mode automatically.
4. Overly frequent operations cause system abnormal.
5. Tools with Cancel button: Cancel current status before activating the next tire.
6. Signal Interference & Blockin

1. Tool is too far from the valve stem weak signal.
2. Green light lit but poor battery quality / low power weak LF signal.
3. Sensor battery depleted or sensor defective no RF transmission.
4. Non-OEM sensor or protocol mismatch.
5. Inflate tires to standard pressure before testing.
6. Hold the tool’s black antenna directly facing the valve stem; or point antenna at the tire side
5. Wrong Relearn Sequence or Operation (Most Common)

1. RCDLR / BCM internal receiver failure.
2. TPMS antenna wire broken or connector loose.

1. Lower all windows fully during relearn.
2. Park vehicle in open, unobstructed area.
3. Hold tool close to the tire sidewall near the valve stem during activation.

Caused by activating sensors in incorrect order.
