Replacing the Batteries

Slide the tab on the endpin section in the direction indicated by the arrow in the diagram
below to release the lock, then pull out the battery holder.

Insert two AA batteries making sure that the battery poles are properly aligned with the
polarity markings on the battery holder.

Slide the battery holder back into the endpin section until the tab is locked.
NOTICE
When using nickel metal-hydride batteries, take care not to damage the battery
casing or poles when installing and removing the batteries.

Do not open
• This instrument contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not open the instrument or attempt to
disassemble or modify the internal components in any way. If it should appear to be malfunction-
ing, discontinue use immediately and have it inspected by qualified Yamaha service personnel.
Water warning

To avoid damage, do not expose the guitar to damp/rainy conditions or place it near any containers
such as vases, bottles, or glasses that have the potential to spill into any of the guitar’s openings or
electronic components. Should any moisture/liquid seep into the guitar (such as water), turn off the
power immediately and have the instrument inspected by qualified Yamaha service technician.
If you notice any abnormality

Should one of the following problems occur, immediately turn off the power, remove all batteries
from the instrument and have the instrument inspected by a qualified Yamaha service technician.
- Emission of unusual smells or smoke.
- An object has been dropped into the instrument.
- A sudden loss of sound.

Connection
•
Before connecting the instrument to other electronic components, turn off the power for all com-
ponents. Before turning the power on or off for all components, set all volume levels to minimum.
• Be sure to set the volumes of all components at their minimum levels and gradually raise the
volume controls while playing the instrument to set the desired listening level.
Location
• Do not place the instrument in an unstable position where it might accidentally fall over.
Handling caution
• Do not rest your weight on, or place heavy objects on the instrument, and do not use exces-
sive force on the controllers or connectors.

When a cable is connected to the

Output Jack, the LED located inside the Master
Volume lights green for one second, then the Atmosfeel™ feature will be turned ON.
Turn the Master Volume control all the way down to the minimum before connecting/dis-
connecting a cable. The output level can be adjusted by turning this control to the right
(clockwise) to increase the level, or to the left (counterclockwise) to reduce the level.

Mic Blend
Adjusts the level of the sound picked up with the microphones installed inside the body.
Turning this control to the right (clockwise) to enhance the reverberation and spacious-
ness of the sound. In this condition, the output level is not changed.
NOTE
Feedback might occur depending on the usage conditions. Use the

Mic Blend or
the
e
Bass EQ to adjust the sound.

Bass EQ
Adjusts the level of the low frequencies. Turning this control to the right (clockwise)
gradually boosts the lower frequencies. Turning it to the left (counterclockwise) gradu-
ally cuts the lower frequencies. Turn it to the left when you play in a band, turn it to the
right when you play solo and emphasize the bass.

Output jack/battery holder
The output jack and battery compartment are combined into a single unit. Inserting a
plug into the output jack switches the internal preamplifier ON. To prolong the life of
your battery, unplug the cable from the output jack when not in use.

Remaining Battery Level
The LED located inside the Master Volume flashes red when it is time to change the
batteries. Once the LED begins flashing, the remaining operation time is approximately
two hours with alkaline batteries and about one hour when using nickel metal hydride
batteries (Time varies according to operating conditions). Please replace the batteries
as soon as possible.

teries. When using nickel-metal hydride batteries, please follow the instructions in the

Caution!
Regarding the AG-Stomp Guitar
Power Supply Function
This guitar is not compatible with the power supply function on the AG-Stomp acoustic
guitar preamplier. Using the guitar power supply function on the AG-Stomp can dam-
age the guitar’s built-in preamplier resulting in abnormal sound output, tuner opera-
tion, etc.
* Before connecting the guitar to the AG-Stomp, make sure that the AG-Stomp’s guitar power supply
function is switched OFF (switch OFF the +9V SUPPLY switch) and insert a battery into the gui-
tar’s battery holder.

AG- 스톰프 기타 전원 공급 기능에 관해서
본 기타는 AG- 스톰프 어코스틱 기타 프리앰프의 전원 공급 기능과 호환하지 않습니다 .
AG- 스톰프에서 기타 전원 공급 기능을 사용하면 기타의 내장 프리앰프를 손상시켜서
비정상적인 사운드 출력이나 튜너 조작 등을 유발합니다 .
* AG- 스톰프에 기타를 연결하기 전에 AG- 스톰프의 기타 전원 공급 기능이 꺼진 것을 확인하
고 (+9V SUPPLY 스위치를 끕니다 ), 기타의 배터리 홀더에 배터리를 삽입해 주십시오 .
경고
아래에 열거되어 있는 기본 주의사항을 반드시 준수하여 감전 , 누전 , 손상 , 화재
및 기타 위험으로 인해 부상 및 사망이 발생할 가능성을 줄이시기 바랍니다 . 다
음과 같은 주의사항들이 있으나 이 사항들에 국한되는 것은 아 닙니다 .
배터리 최적화
•
아래의 안전 주의사항을 준수하십시오 . 그렇지 않으면 폭발 , 화재가 발생하거나 배
터리 액이 누출될 수 있습니다 .
- 배터리를 임의로 조작하거나 분해하지 마십시오 .
- 배터리를 불에 넣지 마십시오 .
- 일회용 배터리는 재충전하지 마십시오 .
- 배터리를목걸이 , 머리핀 , 동전 , 열쇠등과같은금속물체와가까이 두지 마십시오 .
- 지정된 배터리 만 사용하십시오 .
- 새 베터리를 사용할 경우 같은 제조업체에서 만든 동일한 형식의 동일한 모델을 사
용하십시오 .
- +/- 극성 표시에 맞춰 배터리를 정확하게 삽입하십시오 .
- 배터리가 완전히 소모된 경우 또는 악기를 장시간 사용하지 않는 경우에는 악기에
서 배터리를 빼십시오 .

사고로 삼킬 수도 있으므로 배터리는 유아의 손이 닿지 않는 곳 에 보관하십시오 .

배터리 액이 누출된 경우 누출된 액체가 손에 닿지 않도록 하십 시오 . 배터리 액이 누
출되어 눈이나 입 , 피부에 닿은 경우에는 즉시 물로 씻은 후 의사와 상담하십시오 . 배
터리 액은 부식성이기 때문에 시력 상실 및 화학적 화상을 야기할 수 있습니다 .
배터리는 반드시 해당 지역의 법규에 따라 폐기하십시오 .

制造年份 ：首部的两个字母表示日历年份最后面的两位数字。字

制造月份 ：从一月到九月，以字母“H”到“P”分别表示 , 十月
至十二月的月份 , 以字母“X”到“Z”分别表示。
