may splash out of the spout while it is boiling. Check that
the lid is properly closed before plugging the fork into the

the kettle will automatically turn off and three sound alerts will sound.
6. Pour the boiled water into aprepared container, cup or mug. Make
sure that it remains in avertical position when it is carried, particularly
if it is filled all the way up to the maximum mark.
Heating water to adesired temperature and function
maintaining that temperature
This function makes it possible to maintain the set temperature in the
kettle after boiling the water for amaximum of 30 minutes.
When the temperature sensor detects that the water temperature
inside the kettle has dropped, the kettle switches on and reheats the
water to the temperature you set. The kettle will then turn off.
1. Perform steps 1 to 3 from previous part “Heating water to 100 °C”.
2. Press the Keep warm button.
3. Press the Menu button repeatedly to select one of thepreset
temperatures – see table below. The indicator light of the selected
temperature will light up and “WARM” will start flashing on the
display.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, make sure that the kettle is unplugged from the mains
socket andlet it cool down.
Caution:
Do not immerse the kettle, base, power cord or plug in
water or any other liquid.
Caution:
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, etc.
to clean any parts of the appliance, as these could
damage the surface. None of the components of this
appliance are dishwasher safe.
Toclean the external parts of the kettle use adry cloth or acloth
dipped in aweak solution of neutral kitchen detergent.
After applying the kitchen detergent, wipe the surface with alightly
damp cloth andthen wipe dry.
Toclean the base use only adry cloth.
Removing Limescale Deposits
As the lime scale deposited in the kettle may adversely affect its
lifetime, remove it regularly dependingon the kettle use frequency.
In addition, by removing the lime scale, you can save electricity and
shorten the water boiling time without affecting the drink taste.
During standard use (3 to 5 times per day), we recommend water
scale deposits be removed:
once per month inareas withhard andvery hard water;
once every two to three months inareas withsoft andmedium
hard water.
Scale build-up increases the noise level of the kettle.
To remove the scale, we recommend the Sencor SESXD 001 liquid
agent. Follow the dosage and procedure instructions which you can
find on the packaging of the descaling agent.
Procedure
The kettle is equipped with aspecial program for descaling.
Pour the diluted solution of water anddescaling agent into the kettle.
Place the kettle on the base and press the Clean button. 100°C will
appear on the display and"CLEAN" and"BOIL" will blink.
Press the Start/Cancel button and the kettle will start. "HEATING" will
start flashing on the display and the temperature on the display will
gradually increase as the water in thekettle heats up.
As soon as the water temperature reaches 100°C, the kettle will
remain inoperation andwill turn on and off regularly. "CLEAN" will
remain on the display and"HEATING" will flash. Regular switching
removes lime scale thoroughly.
The descaling time is approximately 3minutes. After this time has
elapsed, the kettle will turn off andthe current water temperature
inside the kettle will be shown on the display.
Then empty the kettle and before further use boil clean water in it 4to
5 times.

2. Wash the appliance under running water. For heavier soiling, wipe the
filter with asoft sponge.
3. Put it back on the inner wall of the spout.
