• Provided Allen wrench
• Phillips Screwdriver (Flat only)
1. Install O-rings to base. 2. Ensure rings are fully
seated as shown.
3. Set uprights onto base;
set-screw holes face
outside of base.
4. Insert set screws into
uprights; do not tighten.
5. If loose, slightly tighten
thumbscrews (Standard)
or Phillips-head screws
(Flat or Mounted) to
steady the mounting
brackets for breath-guard
installation.
6. (Two people) remove
protective backing if
present. Install breath
guard to uprights using
supplied washers and
thumbscrews.
7. Tighten upright set
screws.
8. Adjust to desired height.
a. Rotate each collar until
loose.
b. Slide collars up or
down to raise or lower
the guard.
c. Tighten collars to
secure.

Assembly Instructions
Adjusting Angle (Standard Models Only)
1. Loosen thumb screws to allow the guard to pivot.
2. Position guard at the desired angle.
3. Tighten thumb screws.
With Mounting Posts
Tools
• Drill and drill bits
• Fasteners for mounting to countertop (Recommendation #10
stainless steel, round or hex head. Screw length and thread type
will vary depending on specific application)
Before starting installation, verify that the mounting surface and
underlying materials are capable of supporting the breath guard and
screws.
Assembly Steps (Two People)
1. Follow steps 5 & 6 on pg 1.
2. Align mounting posts on mounting surface, ensuring posts are
plumb using a level, then mark holes for pre-drilling.
3. Pre-drill holes for appropriate fastener size.
4. Fasten mounting posts to the mounting surface.
5. Adjust height if desired (see page 1).
Cleaning & Care (All Models)
• Only use soft, lint-free, non-abrasive, non-paper cloths with cleaners safe for Plexiglas® and acrylic—such as dish soap and warm
water, Novus® #1, Plexiclear, and Brillianize.
• Remove minor scratches by using a specialized mild abrasive polish such as Novus® #2 or #3. Heavier scratches can often be
removed by hand sanding with increasingly finer grit (250,400,600) sandpaper, then buffing with a wheel and compound.
NOTICE: Ammonia, alcohol, acetone, or dry cleaning chemicals, abrasive cleansers, sharp or rough materials (e.g. razor blades,
brushes, steel wool, scouring pads), WD-40®, and petroleum will damage the guard.
