Diamond Audio (a division of CV & DA Holdings, Inc.) warrants this product to be free from defects in
material for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase provided it was purchased from
an authorized DAT retailer within the United States. However, if this product was installed by authorized
DA retailer, the warranty period will be extended to two (2) years.
THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE OF THIS
PRODUCT IN ITS ORIGINAL INSTALLATION. Original purchaser must reside in the United States and be
able to provide proof of purchase and installation with the sales from the authorized DAT retailer and
completion of online registration that sold and installed the product.
Should a manufacturing defect occur during above said warranty period, DA will replace or repair the
defective product with a product of the same or equivalent value and performance.
Damage or failure caused by any of the following is not covered under this warranty policy: negligence,
improper use, abuse, product modification, unauthorized repair attempts, accident, acts of God,
misrepresentations by DA retailers, and improper/inadequate packaging during return shipping.
Warranty is void if serial numbers have been removed, altered or defaced.
In the event a DA product should require service, you should visit the authorized DA retailer you
purchased the product from and they can expedite your claim. All claims must fall into the guidelines
listed above and be accompanied by a copy of the original sales and installation receipt from that
authorized DA retailer.
Product returned for warranty service must be freight-prepaid, properly packaged and clearly marked
with the Return Authorization (RA) number issued by DA. Any product returned to DAT that is improperly
packaged, does not have a RA number clearly marked on the package, or never received a RA number
may be refused upon delivery. DA does not assume responsibility for lost or misdirected product.
Repair or replacement under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the consumer. DA shall not be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any expressed or implied warranty on
this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages,
or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that may
vary from state to state.
Customer outside the United States should contact their local sales office to obtain information on
pricing, exchange unit availability, instructions, service and warranty/non-warranty replacement
or repair.

Diamond Audio’s Microbox Enclosure system delivers impressive bass output in a small package! These
Microbox Enclosures come preloaded with a single or dual pair option of true DES Series subwoofers and
powerful internal amplifiers for the perfect match up. After many hours of fine-tuning this subwoofer and
developing the perfect slot-port application, these Microbox subs outperform even larger systems.
Constructed with high-strength MDF, extensive bracing, and lock-tight fastening, it means no leaks and
distortion-free bass response. - Go ahead, Hear the Music!
These MICROBox subwoofer systems pack a punch. We highly recommend bolting the enclosures down
with L brackets or some restraint to keep them from moving around when the vehicle is in motion. The
amplifiers are equipped with quick disconnects if the enclosure needs to be removed or replaced for
space considerations.
We recommend a minimum of 8GA copper power wire for all models for the best amplifier
performance.
NO CCA wire. CCA wire will void your warranty, reduce the performance of your system, and could
cause harm to your system or vehicle.

Connect preamp signal cables from the head unit or speaker level to these terminals.
GAIN
Input level adjustment. The gain is a level-matching control used to reach maximum amplifier power with a wide variety of
head units and input sources. This is not a volume control; setting it higher than needed puts unnecessary strain on the
amplifier and subwoofers, causing high distortion, excess heat, and under performance. Our amplifier's power is grossly
underrated; you will easily get more power than we advertise so don't get greedy or I'll come to confiscate that
screwdriver!! JC
LPF
Controls the low pass crossover point for the subwoofer. Adjusted to middle setting is a good all around frequency @
120Hz. The crossover frequency can be adjusted between 50- 250Hz.
BOOST
Variable bass boost from 0 to +18dB @ 45Hz.
REMOTE BASS LEVEL CONTROL
This port is for connecting the remote subwoofer level control. This allows up to 20dB of volume adjustment. This is not a
bass boost, it controls the level of the low pass signal. Can be mounted in a convenient location in the front of the vehicle.
POWER BLOCK INPUT CONNECTOR
The POWER BLOCK is removable for easier wiring and to allow the enclosure to be removed is additional space is needed.
Connect 4GA Pure Copper Power and Ground Leads to this connector. NO CCA or ALUMINUM WIRE.
12V
This must be connected to the fused positive terminal (+12V) of the car’s battery. The fuse must be located within 18
inches of the battery for safety.
GROUND
Ground should be connected to a paint free, heavy gauge clean metal surface preferably with a nut and bolt.
REMOTE TURN-ON
This must be connected to switched +12V, usually a trigger wire coming from the head unit or ignition. This connection is
optional and not needed if using either the VOX or DC setting for turn-on.
TURN-ON MODE (SELECTABLE)
REM- Remote 12V - If using a switched 12V to turn-on the amplifier.
VOX - Voltage Sensing- If using speaker level input signal, this setting will look for audio on the input to turn-on the amplifier.
DC - If using speaker level input signal, this setting will look for DC offset (BTL <1V DC) on the input to turn-on the amplifier.
REMOTE (CONTROL)
This port is for connecting the remote subwoofer level control. This allows up to 20dB of volume adjustment. This is not a
bass boost, it controls the level of the low pass signal.
BASS BOOST
Bass Boost is a variable bass enhancement from 0 to +18dB @ 45Hz. Adjust to restore low end in systems that lack
sufficient low frequency signal. Please use sparingly.
PHASE
This controls the Phase from 0-180° from the listening position. Properly adjusting phase will allow enhanced bass
response, dynamics and impact at any volume. To set the Phase control we suggest using a 50Hz test tone at a moderate
volume while one person listens in the vehicle and another slowly adjusts the Phase control until there is a noticable
increase in the bass response.
STATUS MODE
The status mode LED will alert you of the status of the amplifier, BLUE for all systems go and RED for thermal, voltage or
internal fault.
FUSE
The fusing in the amplifer is there as a last line of defense if there is a problem with the amplifier. This can blow if there is an
over current situaition such as driving the amplifier into clipping for an extended period (see GAIN and don’t forget I’ll take
that screwdriver), or a internal fault in the amplifier. If the fuse instantly blows when replacing, the amplifier will require
service.
