1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Safety
If not properly used Tenderizer Mod ABI is a machine potenally DANGEROUS . Never
introduce the hand inside the Protecon Lid, No.05 ( Pic.04) through its upper opening ,
mainly when the machine is running , because serious damage may arise for the operator .
Any movable part , to clean it or for other maintenance purpose , shall only be withdrawn
by skilled and duly trained people , following the below instrucons , to avoid accidents .
1.1.1 Keep the machine unplugged when needing to remove any movable part , when
cleaning or for maintenance purposes .
1.1.2 Handle the Rollers No.03 (Pic.02) with care , for they have very sharp Blades . To
withdraw them use the Rollers Extractor No.01(Pic.02) .
1.1.3 Never use any kind of instruments to introduce the meat into the Protecon Lid
No.05(Pic.04) upper opening .
1.1.4 Never li the Lid No.05 (Pic.04) before the Rollers be surely sll .
1.1.5 Never throw water directly on the machine . To clean it use a wet cloth .

1.2 Main Components
The Meat Tenderizer Mod. ABI is a table top machine designed to tenderize beef. The meat
shall not be frozen and shall be without bones .
The machine different parts are mainly manufactured using high grade materials , as
polished aluminum , stainless steel and long life non toxic plasc material .

2. INSTALLATION AND PRE-OPERATION
2.1 Instalaon
The Tenderizer should be placed on a leveled working surface , preferably 850 mm high
above floor (Pic. 05) . Control the electricity source voltage , it shall be the same as the
Tenderizer motor voltage . To adjust the machine voltage to the network voltage use the
voltage change switch , placed on the opposite ON/OFF switch side .
The cord has a plug with two round pins and a grounding wire . The three shall be well
connected before to switch ON the machine .

2.2 Pre Operaon
Be sure the Tenderizer is stable . Before to start operaon wash the removable parts with
hot water and neutral soap , rinse and dry before to replace them into the machine .
The Combs (Pic. 06) avoid the product to wind up on the Rollers No. 03 (Pic.02) and
therefore help the exit of the product . To withdraw the Rollers No. 03 ( Pic.02) with safety,
use the Roller Extractor No 01 ( Pic.02).
IMPORTANT
Always use the Combs ( Pic. 06 ) when operang the unit.

2.3 How to Introduce the Meat
The Model ABI Tenderizer is a LOW ROTATION machine. Its operaon is simple, however it
does need the complete operator aenon to avoid any accident .
Place the meat to be processed inside the Protecon Lid opening No. 01 (Pic. 07),
and freely , let it get inside the machine .
Tenderizes with 20cm length (about 8” and 1,3cm thickness ( about ½”).
IMPORTANT
Do never remove the slices by the blade front side.
IMPORTANT
When any removable part of the machine has to be removed, switch OFF the
machine and unplug it . Wait the Rollers No.03(Pic.02) to be completely sll before
to li the Protecon Lid No. 01(Pic.07) .

3. OPERATION
3.1 Starng
The Protecon Lid No.01(Pic.07) SHALL be duly fied. To start the machine press the ON/
OFF Switch No.04(Pic.04) placed on the cabinet.
3.2 Removing and replacing the Rollers and the Combs

To remove the Rollers is a simple task , however it does require full aenon from the
operator to avoid possible accidents . With a the machine completely sll :
To remove the Rollers and the Combs
-Li the Protecon Lid No 01.(Pic.07) .
-To withdraw the Combs , just li them , but watch their correct posion ( Pic. 03 ) . Then
turn the Handle No.02 ( Pic.02) unl the Driving Sha No.01(Pic.09) keys are on the vercal
posion , and with the help of the Rollers Extractor No. 01 ( Pic. 02) withdraw the Rollers
No.02 (Pic.08) .
To replace the Rollers and the Combs
- Turn the Handle No. 02 (Pic.02) unl the Driving ShaNo.01 /(Pic.09) keys are on the
vercal posion . Then with the Rollers Extractor.
- No.01 (Pic.02) help , fit the Rollers No.02 (Pic.08) into their keys and bring them to the
boom of their casing . Aer, replace the Combs No.01 (Pic.08) , and be careful to watch
their right posion to fit perfectly the Protecon Lid No.01 (Pic.07) . Place the Combs No.01
(Pic.08) in between the Rollers N.02 (Pic.08) , then replace the Protecon Lid N.01 (Pic.07) .

3.3 Cleaning
All the machine parts presumably going to contact the meat must be cleaned with warm
water and neutral soap , rinse and dried before to be replaced in the machine .
The remaining machine parts would be cleaned with a wet cloth .
IMPORTANT
Never proceed to clean the machine when connected to the electric power source,
always unplug it . Before to li the Protecon Lid No.01(Pic.07) , wait the Rollers
N.02(Pic.08) to be completely sll .

3.3.1 Wit the machine switched OFF and unplugged withdraw the Protecon Lid No.01
(Pic.07) and the Combs No. 01 ( Pic.08) . Turn the Handle No.02 (Pic.02) unl the keys are
in the vercal posion. Using the Rollers Extractor No.01 (Pic. 02) li the Rollers No.03 (Pic.
02) having parcular care with the sharp rollers knives.
3.3.2 Wash all the parts with hot water and neutral soap , rinse and dry before to replace
them into the machine .
3.3.3 Never use hard objects as , for instance : knives, forks or metal scks to clean meat
pieces that could be found stuck to the Rollers. Use a nylon brush to remove them and to
clean the Rollers blades .
IMPORTANT
Observe the posion of the Rollers before to remove them , and do care to replace
them into their original posion.

6 CONSEJOS GENERALES
- Do not wear loose fing clothes while operang the unit. Do not use bracelets or any
other piece of jewelry. Have your hair always shortened and held up (use hair fishnets if
necessary) in a way it cannot reach any part of the machine. Roll up any loose sleeves.
- SKYFOOD is not responsible for any harm or injury caused by the negligent or inappropriate
use of this equipment by any operator. This equipment must be operated only by persons
whose age equals or exceeds 18 years old, in a safe and sound state of mind, free from the
influence of any kind of drugs and alcohol, that received proper training and instrucons
regarding the correct operaon of this machine, that are wearing correct and authorized
safety clothes. All and any kind of modificaons carried on and applied to this machine
immediately nullifies any kind of warranty and may result in harm and injuries to the
individuals operang this machine and to individuals that are located in the machine
surrounding areas while it is being operated.
- Under no circunstances place your hands in the moving parts of the machine while it
is being used. Make sure the machine has come to a complete stop before acessing the
processed ingredients.
The following safety instrucons are addressed to both the operator of the machine as
well as the person in charge of maintenance.
The machine has to be delivered only in perfect condions of use by the Distributor to the
user. The user shall operate the machine only aer being well acquainted with the safety
procedures described in the present manual. READ THIS MANUAL WITH ATTENTION.
4.1 Basic Operaon Pracces
4.1.1 Dangers
Some areas of the electric device have parts that are connected or have parts connected
to high voltage. These parts when touched may cause severe electrical shocks or even be
lethal.
Never touch manual commands such as switches, buons, turning keys and knobs with
your hands wearing wet clothes and/or wet shoes. By not following these instrucons
operator could be exposed to severe electrical shocks or even to a lethal situaon.
4.1.2 Warnings
* The operator has to be well familiar with the posion of ON/OFF Switch to make sure the
Switch is easy to be reached when necessary.
* Before any kind of maintenance, physically remove plug from the socket.
* Provide space for a comfortable operaon thus avoiding accidents.
* Water or oil spilled on the floor will turn it slippery and dangerous. Make sure the floor
is clean and dry.
* Before using any commands (switch, buons, lever), be sure it is the correct one. In case
of doubt, consult this manual.
* Never touch any manual commands (switch, buons, lever) unadvisedly.
* If any work is to be made by two or more persons, coordinaon signs will have to be
given for each operaon step. Every step of the operaon shall be taken only if a sign has
been made and responded.
4.1.3 Advices
* In case of power shortage, immediately switch the machine off.
* Use recommended or equivalent lubricants, oils or greases.
IMPORTANT
If any recommendaon is not applicable to your equipment, please ignore it.
4. GENERAL SAFETY PRACTICES

* Avoid mechanical shocks, once they may cause damages or bad funconing.
* Avoid water, dirt or dust contact to the mechanical and electrical components of the
machine.
* DO NOT change the standard characteriscs of the machine.
* DO NOT remove, tear off or maculate any safety or idenficaon labels stuck on the
machine. If any labels have been removed or are no longer legible, contact your nearest
dealer for replacement.
4.2 Safety Procedures and Notes before Switching the Machine ON
IMPORTANT
Carefully read ALL INSTRUCTIONS of this manual before turning the machine ON.
Be sure to well understand all the informaon contained in this manual. If you
have any queson contact your supervisor or your nearest Dealer.
4.2.1 Danger
An electric cable or electric wire with damaged jacket or bad insulaon might cause
electrical shocks as well as electrical leak. Before use, check the condions of all wires and
cables.
4.2.2 Advices
Be sure to well understand all the informaon contained in this manual. Every operaon
funcon or procedure has to be thoroughly clear.
Before using any commands (switch, buons, lever), be sure it is the correct one. In case
of doubt, consult this manual.
4.2.3 Precauons
The electric cable has to be compable with the power required by the machine.
Cables touching the floor or close to the machine need to be protected against short
circuits.
The oil reservoirs have to be filled unl the indicated level. Check and refill if necessary.
4.3 Roune Inspecon
4.3.1 Advice
When checking the tension of the belts or chains, DO NOT insert your fingers between the
belts and the pulleys and nor between the chain and the gears.
4.3.2 Precauons
Check the motor and sliding or turning parts of the machine in case of abnormal noises.
Check the tension of the belts and chains and replace the set when belts or chains show

5 ANÁLISIS Y SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
5.1 Problemas, Causas y Soluciones
La Sierra fue diseñada para que necesite un mínimo de manutención. Sin embargo,
pueden ocurrir algunas irregularidades en su funcionamiento, debido al desgaste natural
causado por su uso.
Caso haya algún problema con su maquina, verifique la Tabla 02 abajo, donde están
indicadas algunas soluciones recomendadas.
IMPORTANT

4.4 Operaon
4.4.1 Warnings
Do not use the machine with long hair that could touch any part of the machine. This might
lead to a serious accident. Tie your hair up well and/or cover it with a scarf.
Only trained or skilled personnel shall operate this machine.
Never touch turning parts with your hands or any other way ,
NEVER operate the machine without any original safety devices under perfect condions.
4.5 Aer Finishing The Work
4.5.1 Precauons
Always TURN THE MACHINE OFF before cleaning by removing the plug from the socket.
Never clean the machine unless it has come to a complete stop.
Put all the components back to their funconal posions before turning the machine ON
again.
Check the level of oil.
Do NOT insert your fingers in between belts and pulleys nor chains and gears.
4.6 Maintenance
4.6.1 Danger
Any maintenance with the machine in working situaon is dangerous. TURN IT OFF BY
PULLING THE PLUG OFF THE SOCKET DURING MAINTENANCE.

4.7 Warning
Electrical or mechanical maintenance has to be undertaken by qualified personnel. The
person in charge of maintenance has to be sure that the machine is under TOTAL SAFETY
condions when working.

Solamente operadores entrenados y calificados pueden operar la maquina.
Nunca toque con las manos o de cualquier otra manera, partes girantes de la maquina.
JAMÁS opere la maquina, sin algún de sus accesorios de seguridad.
4.5 Después de Terminar el Trabajo
4.5.1 Cuidados
Siempre limpie la maquina. Para tanto, deslíguela sicamente del soquete.
Nunca limpie la maquina antes de su PARADA COMPLETA.
Recoloque todos los componentes de la maquina en sus lugares, antes de ligarla otra vez.
Al verificar la tensión de las correas/cadenas, NO coloque los dedos entre las correas y las
poleas ni entre las cadenas y engranajes..
4.6 Manutención
4.6.1 Peligros
Con la maquina ligada cualquier operación de manutención es peligrosa. DESLÍGUELA
FÍSICAMENTE DE LA RED ELÉCTRICA, DURANTE TODA LA OPERACIÓN DE MANUTENCIÓN.
4.7 Aviso
La manutención eléctrica o mecánica debe ser hecha por una persona calificada para hacer
el trabajo.
La persona encargada por la manutención debe cerficarse que la maquina trabaje bajo
condiciones TOTALES DE SEGURIDAD.

Evite choques mecánicos, ellos pueden causar fallas o malo funcionamiento.
Evite que agua, suciedad o polvo entren en los componentes mecánicos y eléctricos de la
maquina.
NO ALTERE las caracteríscas originales de la maquina.
NO SUCIE, RASGUE O RETIRE CUALQUIER ETIQUETA DE SEGURIDAD O DE IDENTIFICACIÓN.
Caso alguna esté ilegible o perdida, solicite otra al Asistente Técnico más cercano.
LEA ATENTAMENTE Y CON CUIDADO LAS ETIQUETAS DE SEGURIDAD Y DE IDENTIFICACIÓN
CONTENIDAS EN LA MAQUINA, ASÍ COMO LAS INSTRUCCIONES Y LAS TABLAS CNICAS
CONTENIDAS EN ESTE MANUAL.
4.2 Cuidados y Observaciones Antes de Prender la Maquina.
IMPORTANTE
Lee con atención y cuidado las INSTRUCCIONES contenidas en este Manual,
antes de ligar la maquina. Cerquese que entendió correctamente todas las
informaciones. En caso de duda, consulte su superior o el Revendedor.
4.2.1 Peligro
Cables o hilos eléctricos con aislamiento dañado, pueden provocar choques eléctricos.
Antes de usarlos verifique sus condiciones.
4.2.2 Avisos
Esté seguro que las INSTRUCCIONES contenidas en este Manual, estén completamente
entendidas. Cada función o procedimiento de operación y de manutención debe estar
perfectamente claro.
El accionamiento de un comando manual ( botón, llave eléctrica, palanca, etc. ) debe ser
hecho siempre después que se tenga la certud de que es el comando correcto.
4.2.3 Cuidados
El cable de alimentación de energía eléctrica de la maquina, debe tener una sección
suficiente para soportar la potencia eléctrica consumida.
Cables eléctricos que estuvieran en el suelo cerca de la maquina, deben ser protegidos
para evitar corto circuitos.
4.3 Inspección de Runa
4.3.1 Aviso
Al averiguar la tensión de las correas/cadenas, NO coloque los dedos entre las correas y las
poleas, ni cadenas y engranajes..
4.3.2 Cuidados
Verifique los motores y las partes deslizantes o girantes de la maquina, con relación a

5.1 Problems, Causes and Soluons
The Tenderizers Mod ABI were designed to operate with the need of minimum maintenance
but the natural wearing caused by long use of the equipment may occasionally cause some
malfuncons.
If such problem occurs with your tenderizer refer to Table 02 in which the most common
situaons are listed with recommended soluons.

Las Nociones Generales de Seguridad fueran preparadas para orientar y instruir
adecuadamente a los operadores de las maquinas, así como aquellos que serán
responsables por su manutención.
La maquina solamente debe ser entregue al operador en buenas condiciones de uso, al
que el operador debe ser orientado cuanto al uso y a la seguridad de la maquina por el
Revendedor. El operador solamente debe usar la maquina con el conocimiento completo
de los cuidados que deben ser tomados, después de LER ATENTAMENTE TODO ESTE
MANUAL.
4.1 Praccas Básicas de Operación
4.1.1 Peligros
Algunas partes del accionamiento eléctrico presentan pontos o terminales con altos
voltajes. Cuando tocados pueden ocasionar graves choques eléctricos, o hasta la muerte
de una persona.
Nunca toque un comando manual ( botón, llave eléctrica, etc. ) con las manos, zapatos
o ropas mojadas. No atender a esta recomendación, también podrá provocar choques
eléctricos, o hasta la muerte de una persona.
4.1.2 Advertencias
El local de la llave liga / desliga debe ser bien conocido, para que sea posible accionarla a
cualquier momento sin la necesidad de procurarla.
Antes de cualquier manutención desconecte la maquina de la red eléctrica.
Proporcione espacio suficiente para evitar caídas peligrosas.
Agua o aceite podrá hacer resbaloso y peligroso el piso. Para evitar accidentes el piso debe
estar seco y limpio.
Antes de accionar cualquier comando manual ( botones, llaves eléctricas, palancas, etc. )
verifique siempre si el comando es el correcto, o en caso de dudas, consulte este Manual.
Nunca toque ni accione un comando manual ( botones, llaves eléctricas, palancas etc. )
por acaso.
Si un trabajo debe ser hecho por dos o más personas, señales de coordinación deben ser
dados antes de cada operación. La operación siguiente no debe ser comenzada sin que la
respecva señal sea dada y respondida.
4.1.3 Avisos
En el caso de falta de energía eléctrica, desligue inmediatamente la llave liga / desliga.
Use solamente óleos lubrificantes o grasas recomendadas o equivalentes.
IMPORTANTE
Si cualquiera de las recomendaciones no fuera aplicable, ignórela

Abajo están las instrucciones para el procedimiento para remover las partes movibles :
3.3.1 Con la maquina desligada de la red eléctrica , rere la Tapa de Protección No.01(Fig07)
y los Peines No. 01(Fig.08) .Gire el Manipulo No.02 (Fig.02) hasta que las Clavillas esten en
la posición vercal. Con el auxilio del Extractor de los Rodetes No.01(Fig.02) levante los
Rodetes Seccionadores No. 03(Fig.02), tenga mucho cuidado con las cuchillas pues son
muy afiladas .
3.3.2 Lave todas las partes con agua caliente y jabón neutro, enjuague y las seque antes
de remontarlas en la maquina .
3.3.3 Nunca use objetos duros como cuchillas , tenedores , o otros para limpiar pedazos
de carne presos entre las cuchillas succionadoras. Use un cepillo de nylon para hacer su
remoción y la limpieza .
IMPORTANTE
Observe la posición de los Rodetes Seccionadores antes de removerlos , y tome
el cuidado de recolocarlos en su posición original .
6. GENERAL ADVICES

7. ELECTRIC DIAGRAM
Esta es una operación simples , pero requiere un cuidado especial por parte del operador
para que no ocurra ningún accidente .
Rerada de lo Rodetes y Peines
Con la maquina parada rere la Tapa de Protección No.01(Fig.07) .
Para rerar los Peines , simplesmente levantelos , observando su posición correcta (Fig.
03) .
En seguida , gire el Manipulo No.02(Fig.02) hasta que las clavillas de los Ejes Conductores
No. 01(Fig.09) estén en la posición vercal y con el auxilio del Extractor de los Rodetes No.
01(Fig.02)rere los Rodetyes Seccionadores No.02(Fig.08).
Colocación de los Rodetes y Peines
Gire el ManipuloNo.02(Fig.02) hasta que las clavillas de los Ejes Conductores No.01(Fig.09)
esten en la posición vercal .
Entonces con el auxilio del Extractor de Rodetes No.01(Fig.02) encaje los Rodetes
Seccionadores No.02(Fig.08) en sus respecvas clavillas , y los lleve hasta el fondo de su
encaje .
En seguida coloque los Peines No.01(Fig.08) observando la posición correcta para que
ocurra un perfecto encaje en la Tapa de Protección No.01(Fig.07) . Introduzca los Peines
No. 01(Fig.08) entre los Rodetes Seccionadores No.02(Fig.08) y en seguida coloque la Tapa
de Protección No.01(Fig.07) .

3.3 Limpieza
Todas las partes que entran en contacto con la carne , deben ser limpias con agua caliente
y jabón neutro, lavadas y secadas antes de reponerlas en la maquina .
Para las otras partes basta limpiarlas con un paño húmedo .
IMPORTANTE
Nunca haga la limpieza con la maquina ligada a la red eléctrica , para hacerla saque
el enchufe de su soquete . Antes de remover la Tapa de Protección No.01(Fig.07) ,
cerfiquese de la completa parada de los Rodetes Seccionadores No.02 (Fig.08) .

2.3 Procedimiento para la Alimentación
La Ablandadora de Carne ABI es una maquina que trabaja a BAJA ROTACIÓN . Su uso
es simples pero es necesaria la total atención del operador para evitar accidentes de
cualquier po.
Coloque la carne que debe ser procesada en la abertura de la Tapa de Protección No.01
(Fig.07) y sueltela libremente para el interior de la maquina .
Ablanda carnes con hasta 20cm de ancho por 1,3cm de espesor.
ATENCIÓN
Bajo ninguna circunstancia use instrumentos para empujar la carne para adentro
de la Tapa de Protección No.01 (Fig.07) .
IMPORTANTE
Desligue la maquina de la red eléctrica , cuando desee rerar cualquier de sus
parte removibles . Espere la parada completa de los Rodetes Seccionadores No.03
(Fig. 02) antes de rerar la Tapa de Protección No.01(Fig.07).

3. OPERACIÓN
3.1 Accionamento
Asegurese que la Tapa de Protección No. 01 (fig 04) este debidamente encajada . Para
ligar la maquina debese apretar la Llave Liga/Desliga No.02 (Fig. 04) que se encuentra en
el Gabinete de la maquina No.04 (Fig.04) , que se encuentra en el Gabinete No.02(Fig.04)

2.2 Pre Operación
Verifique si la Ablandadora esfirme en su posición . Antes del uso debese lavar con agua
y jabón neutro a las partes removibles , enjuague , y las seque antes de reponerlas en la
maquina .
Los peines (Fig.06) evitan que el producto se arrolle en los Rodetes Seccionadores No.03
(Fig. 02) y consecuentemente auxiliam en la salida del mismo . Para rerar los Rodetes
Seccionadores No.03 (Fig.02) con seguridad use el Extractor de los Rodetes No.01(Fig.02) .
IMPORTANTE
Siempre use los Peines cuando procesar la carne.

2. INSTALACIÓN Y PRÉ  OPERACIÓN
2.1 Instalación
Para un buen desempeño de la maquina , la Procesadora de Alimentos debe ser instalada
sobre una superficie estable con aproximadamente 850 mm de altura Fig.05. Verifique el
voltaje de la red eléctrica donde se conectará el enchufe , si es 110 o 220 V . Si necesario
ajuste el voltaje al voltaje de la red eléctrica .
El cable de alimentación posee un enchufe con dos clavijas redondas y un hilo de
aterramiento - hilo erra . Es obligatorio que los tres puntos estén debidamente conectados
antes de poner en operación el equipo .
(*) La frecuencia será única , de acuerdo con la frecuencia del motor .

1. INTRODUCCTION
1.1 Seguridad
Cuando usadas incorrectamente , las Ablandadoras de Carne Modelo ABI son maquinas
potencialmente PELIGROSAS . La manutención , la limpieza o otra cualquier acvidad de
servicio , solamente deben ser hechas por personas debidamente entrenadas , y con la
maquina desconectada de la red eléctrica . Las instrucciones abajo deberán ser seguidas
para evitar accidentes :
.1.1 Desconecte la maquina de la red eléctrica cuando sea deseado rerar cualquier parte
movible , para hacer la limpieza , la manutención o otro cualquier servicio .
1.1.2 Al manipular los Rodetes No.03(fig.02) tenga mucho cuidado pues enen cuchillas
afiladas . Para rerarlos use el Extractor de Rodetes No.01 (Fig. 02 )
1.1.3 Nunca usar instrumentos para colocar la carne al interior de la Tapa de Protección
No. 05 (Fig.04) .
1.1.4 Nunca rere la Tapa de Protección No.05 (Fig.04) sin estar seguro que los Rodetes
Seccionadores No.03(Fig.02 ) estén completamente parados .
1.1.5 Nunca use chorros de agua directamente sobre la maquina . Para limpiar las partes
no removibles , use un paño húmedo .
1.2 Componentes Principales
La Ablandadora de Carne Modelo ABI es una maquina de mesa , para ablandar carnes de
res, sin huesos y que no sean congeladas .
La mayoría de los componentes que incorporan la maquina son construidos con
materiales cuidadosamente seleccionados para su función , como aluminio pulido ,acero
inoxidable y plásco atoxico, dentro de los padrones de prueba y de la experiencia de
SIEMSEN .
