LED Indicators
LED
Meaning
Blue
Lights when the magnet is within proper range of the Mini-433 (1 inch max).
LED is active for 15 minutes after battery is first installed or when the
cover is removed.
Green
Flashes when the Mini-433 transmits. LED is active for 15 minutes after
battery is first installed or when cover is removed.
Red
Upon low battery condition, flashes once about every five seconds for two
minutes after a transmission.
MOUNTING
• Choose a mounting location where the device is stationary, and the magnet is
mounted to the moving part of the door or window.
• Check your control panel's instruction manual for how to confirm RF signal strength before
permanently mounting the transmitter.
• Avoid mounting in areas where it will be exposed to moisture or where the operating
temperature of 32 to 120ºF (0 to 50ºC) will be exceeded.
• Keep the Mini-433 and magnet away from metal or metallic surfaces such as foil
wallpaper.
• Avoid mounting the Mini-433 in areas with a large quantity of metal or electrical
wiring, such as a furnace or utility room.
• Use the adhesive tape provided to mount the transmitter and magnet.
Mount the Mini-433 & Magnet
1. Mount the Mini-433 on the frame of the
protected door or window using double-faced
tape (supplied).
2. Mount the magnet (supplied) on the protected
door or opening portion of the protected
window. Check that the blue LED lights
when the door or window is closed.
PROGRAMMING (refer to your control’s instructions)
1. Place your panel in the preferred RF enrollment
mode.
2. When prompted, Open / Close magnet
3. Complete zone programming as per installation
manual.
4. Alternatively, the device serial number can be
entered into the control during programming.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1. Slide the top cover, in the direction shown, to open
and remove the old battery.
2. Install a fresh battery with + side UP. See Specifications
section for compatible batteries.
3. Replace the cover and slide in the opposite direction
from opening.

not recharge, disassemble, heat above 212°F (100°C) , or
incinerate. Dispose of used batteries properly. Keep away
from children.

• Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
• Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and
keep away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate.
• Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
• Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline,
carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.
• Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above (manufacture’s specified
temperature rating) or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage, or
explosion resulting in chemical burns.
• Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an
extended period of time according to local regulations.
• Always completely secure battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close
securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.
