Stainless Cookware on high heat. Food will burn. The aluminium encapsulated base makes this cookware highly
conductive and ecient for quick, even heat distribution. We recommend using a low to medium setting for most cooking. To boil water, medium-high is

Cookware or any pan empty over a hot burner. Doing so can ruin the pan and cause damage to the stovetop. Any material,
if heated continuously at a high enough temperature, will begin to decompose, damaging your stovetop or cookware and/or causing personal injury.
Never leave cookware on the stovetop unattended. Do not allow cookware to boil dry. If cookware boils dry, do not remove from the stovetop immediately.
Turn o the heat and allow to cool naturally.
BEFORE USING
Wash your new cookware in hot water with a mild soap or dish detergent, or in a dishwasher, before using for the rst time. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry
immediately with a soft dish towel, or you may place your Cuisinart
®
Stainless cookware in a dishwasher.
EASY MAINTENANCE
Immediately after each use, ll the pan with hot water and liquid dish detergent; let stand until lukewarm. Use a sponge or soft cloth to remove any
remaining food particles. Do not use steel wool or other coarse metal pads that can make scratches. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately for a
awless nish.

WHAT ABOUT METAL UTENSILS?
We recommend using plastic or wooden utensils with your Cuisinart
®
Stainless Cookware. You may prefer using metal utensils. These may
scratch the cooking surface, but will in no way impair the performance of your Cuisinart
®
Stainless Cookware.
TO REMOVE STAINS
Calcium in your water may leave a multicoloured stain. This is from a harmless deposit and can be removed with a little warm vinegar. Certain foods
such as pasta or porridge may leave a light residue or cloudy appearance. This can be easily removed with any nonabrasive cleaning product.
TO REMOVE STUBBORN RESIDUE
When food is burned in the pan, a stubborn black residue may remain. If soaking does not loosen it, add water to a depth of one inch in the pan, then
add a tablespoon of dishwasher detergent (a non-lemon product). Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Let cool in the pan, then drain
and rinse. Loosen the residue with a sponge or plastic spatula. Repeat if necessary.
TO REMOVE BURNER STAINS
Stains on the outside bottom (not sides) of pans can be removed with an oven cleaner. Follow the manufacturer’s directions and spray or brush the cleaner
on only the outside bottom of the pan. If the directions call for using the cleaner in a warm oven, heat the pan before applying the cleaner. Rinse thoroughly
after cleaning. CAUTION: Detergent fumes can be irritating. Carry out this procedure under a hood with an exhaust fan or in a well-ventilated room.
COOKING OVER A GAS BURNER
When cooking over a gas burner, make certain the ame touches only the pan bottom. If the ame comes up the sides of the pan, energy is wasted and the
sides of the pan may become permanently discoloured.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Cuisinart
®
Stainless Cookware has exceptionally high thermal conductivity, and even a low setting on some gas burners
will overheat or even burn foods such as thinly sliced onions. An inexpensive gas “ame-tamer” placed between the burner and the bottom of the pot
solves this problem. Flame-tamers are readily available at most hardware stores.
COOKING TEMPERATURE IN OVEN

Stainless Cookware can be used in the oven without damage. Naturally, the handle as well as the pan will become hot. Use
potholders to prevent burns. The cookware and stainless steel lids can be used in the oven at any baking temperature up to 260°C and can go from burner
to grill to table when placed on a heat-resistant trivet. Glass lids are oven safe to 200°C only. DO NOT place Cuisinart
®
Nonstick Cookware under the grill.

Cuisinart warrants that, in the unlikely event that this product develops any malfunction within 36 months of purchase of the product used for
household or domestic use (or within 3 months of purchase of the product used for commercial use) due to faulty workmanship, materials
or manufacture, we will either (at our discretion) repair or replace it for you .
This warranty applies for a period of 36 months for products purchased for household or domestic use (and 3 months for products purchased
for commercial use) from the date of purchase of the product after which time the warranty expires and has no further force of effect.

Please retain your Guarantee Card and the Purchase Receipt as proof of purchase in order for your warranty entitlement to be valid.
These documents must be presented in the event of making a claim under the terms of the Cuisinart Warranty Policy.
During the warranty period Cuisinart will repair or replace (at our discretion) any defective product. However, if the product includes a number of
accessories, only the defective part or relevant accessory will be replaced. Cuisinart reserves the right to make minor adjustments to fix any defect
instead of replacing the entire product or accessory. Packaging and instructions, will not be replaced unless faulty. A product presented for repair
may be replaced by a refurbished product of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the product.
If a spare part is required under warranty it will be shipped to the customer or retailer at no charge.
In the event of a product or accessory being replaced during the warranty period, the guarantee on the replacement product or accessory will expire
36 months for household or domestic use (or 3 months for commercial use) from the original purchase date.
This warranty does not include or cover the following:
• defects caused by the product not being used in accordance with instructions;
• defects caused by accidental damage;
• defects caused by misuse or negligent handling of the product;
• defects caused by being tampered with by unauthorised persons;
• defects caused by the product not being maintained or cleaned according to instructions;
• defects which are normal or fair wear and tear;
• freight or any other costs incurred in making a claim;
• consumable items or accessories that by their nature and limited lifespan require periodic renewal (such as filters, seals, blades or related
accessories (such as trays or utensils, light bulbs);
• products serviced or modified other than by Cuisinart or an authorised Cuisinart representative;
• use of the product with other accessories, attachments, product supplies, parts or devices that do not conform to Cuisinart specifications;
• exposure of the product to abnormally corrosive conditions;
• any product which has its serial number or appliance plate removed or defaced;
• to any claims made beyond 3 months from the date of purchase if the product is used in commercial, industrial, educational or rental
applications; or
• to any claims made beyond 36 months from the date of purchase if the product is used in household or domestic applications.
• products purchased from any person who is not a retailer serviced by Conair’s authorised distributors, overseas retailers, parallel importers
or purchased second hand.
The benefits given to you by our warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.
In Australia our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our goods also come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Guarantees Act.
