Surfaces become very hot during use.
Before First Use
• Unpack the waffle maker and remove all
packaging materials including any stickers
or labels
• Clean the plates with a damp cloth or
sponge and wipe dry with a soft dry cloth
NOTE: When using the Waffle Maker for the
first time, it may emit slight smoke or odour
whilst any production residue burns off. This
is completely normal and should disappear
after a few minutes
Operation
1. Plug in the waffle maker. Both the red and
green lights will turn on while it heats
2.
3. Open the lid and lightly grease the top and
bottom plates with oil or butter
4. Pour your pre-prepared batter into the
centre
of the 2 moulds on the lower baking
plate
5. Gently close the lid, ensuring the latch
locks in place. CAUTION: Do not overfill
the moulds to prevent mixture from
overflowing
6. Allow to cook for 3-5 mins or until your
desired level of browning has been reached
7. Once cooked, remove the waffles with heat
resistant plastic or wooden utensils. Do not
use metal as this will damage the non-stick
surface of the cooking plates
8. Disconnect from the mains and allow
the appliance to completely cool before
cleaning and storing away
Cleaning and Maintenance
• Use a heat resistant plastic or wooden utensil
to remove any stubborn food residue. Do
not use metal, sharp, or abrasive utensils as
this will damage the non-stick surface on
the cooking plates
• Clean the cooking plates with hot soapy
water using a non-abrasive sponge or cloth
• Clean the body of the appliance using a
damp sponge or cloth
