READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, install or operate the
product.
• Do not discard fan carton or foam inserts. Should this fan need to be returned to the factory for
repairs, it must be shipped in its original packaging to ensure proper protection against damage that
might exceed the initial cause for return.
• Make sure all electrical connections comply with local codes, ordinances, the National Electrical
Code and ANSI/NFPA 70. Hire a qualified electrician or consult a do-it-yourself wiring handbook if
you are unfamiliar with installing electrical wiring.
• Make sure the installation site you choose allows a minimum clearance of 7 ft. from the blades to the
floor and at least 30 in. from the end of the blades to any obstruction.
• After you install the fan, make sure all connections are secure to prevent the fan from falling.
• The net weight of this fan including the light kit is: 14.08 lbs.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or personal injury, mount to an outlet box
UL-Listed acceptable for fan support of 35 lb. (15.9 kg) or less and use mounting
screws provided with the outlet box. Most outlet boxes commonly used for the support
of lighting fixtures are not acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced. Consult a
qualified electrician if in doubt.

acceptable for fan support with the screws provided with the outlet box.

ATTENTION: The use of a fan brace with all ceiling fans is recommended. Application style
vary. Braces are sold separately in the lighting or electrical department.

Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble
the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 120 minutes.
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Electrical Tape, Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers, Safety
Glasses, Stepladder and Wire Strippers.
Helpful Tools (not included): AC Tester Light, Tape Measure, Do-It-Yourself Wiring Handbook and
Wire Cutters.
DANGER: When using an existing outlet box, make sure the outlet box is securely attached to
the building structure and can support the full weight of the fan. Failure to do this can result in serious
injury or death. The stability of the outlet box is essential in minimizing wobble and noise in the fan
after installation is complete.
CAUTION: Be sure outlet box is properly grounded and a ground wire (green or bare) is
present.
After opening top of carton, remove mounting hardware package from foam inserts. Remove motor
from packing and place on carpet or on foam to avoid damage to finish.
CAUTION: Carefully check all screws, bolts and nuts on fan motor assembly to ensure they are
secured.
WARNING
Risk of Fire and Electric Shock: Do not repair or service this light kit. The light source is designed
for this specific application and can overheat if serviced by untrained personnel. If any servicing is
required, call our customer service department (at 888-251-1003) for return authorization and
shipping instructions.

INITIAL INSTALLATION
2. This fan can be mounted as a flushmount on
a regular (no-slope) ceiling only.
Check to make sure blades (C) will be at least
30 in. from any obstruction and at least 7 ft.
above the floor.
3. Remove two of the four mounting plate
screws with lock washers from the mounting
plate (A) and loosen the other two screws with
lock washers. (Do not remove.)

FAN INSTALLATION
1. Attach the mounting plate (A) to the outlet box
(not included) with two screws and washers
provided with the outlet box. Ensure the
mounting plate (A) is tight and secured.
2. Make sure the slot openings of the housing
ring (B) are on top, and then slip the housing
ring (B) onto the fan motor assembly (E).
Carefully lift the fan motor assembly (E) up to
the mounting plate (A) and hang the fan on the
hook provided using one of the holes at the
outer rim of the fan motor assembly (E).
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock or other personal injury, mount
the fan only to an outlet box or supporting
system marked acceptable for fan support and
use the mounting screws provided with the
outlet box.
WARNING: The hook is only to hold the fan
while attaching wiring. Failure to hang as instructed
may result in the hook breaking causing the fan to
fall. The hook must pass from the inside to the
outside of the fan motor assembly.

If you feel you do not have enough electrical wiring
knowledge or experience, have your fan installed
by a licensed electrician.
Follow the steps below to connect the fan to your
household wiring. Use the plastic wire nuts (AA &
BB) with your fan. Secure the plastic wire nuts with
electrical tape. Make sure there are no loose
strands or connections.
1. Make wire connections from the fan to the
receiver as follows, using the wire nuts (BB).

* There are two green grounding leads:
one from the mounting plate (A) and one

Turn the wire nut connections upward,
spreading them apart so the green
(ground) and white wires will be on one
side and the black and blue wires will be
on the other side.

WARNING: Check to see that all connections
are tight, including ground, and that no bare wire is
visible at the wire nuts, except for the ground wire.
CAUTION: Do not use with a wall light dimmer
switch.
NOTE: The fan must be installed at a maximum
distance of 20 ft. from the remote control for proper
signal transmission between the remote control and
the fan's receiving unit.

Remove the fan motor assembly (E) from the
mounting plate hook, and engage the key
holes on the fan motor assembly (E) with the
two mounting plate screws with lock washers
previously loosened.
Install the two mounting plate screws with lock
washers previously removed, and tighten all
four mounting plate screws with lock washers.
Raise up housing ring (B) and line up the four
tabs with the four grooves on the fan motor
assembly (E). Once lined up, slide the housing
ring (B) up to the fan motor assembly (E) until
snug.

Insert the blade (C) through the slot on the
motor. Align the holes on the blade (C) and
the fan motor assembly (E) and secure the
blade in place with blade support plate with
screws and lock washers (D) provided.
Repeat this process to attach the other
blades (C).

While holding the 20W LED light kit (F)
under the fan motor assembly (E), snap
together the wire connection plugs :
White to white
Black to black
Position the notches on the inner edge of the
20W LED light kit (F) so they match the tabs
on the outside of the rim on the light kit
mounting plate. Carefully lift the 20W LED
light kit (F) inside the light kit mounting plate
and secure it to the fan by turning the 20W
LED light kit (F) clockwise until snug.

CAUTION: Before starting installation,
disconnect the power by turning off the circuit
breaker or removing the fuse at the fuse box.
Turning power off using the fan switch is not
sufficient to prevent electric shock.
NOTE:
If the light kit could be wobbled by hand, it
means the light kit is not twisted completely till the
right position. Keep twisting the light kit till it could
not be wobbled by hand.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: The remote has been pre-paired in the
factory for your convenience.
NOTE: Batteries will weaken with age and should
be replaced before leaking takes place as this
will damage the remote control. Dispose used
batteries properly and keep them out of the reach
of children. Do not dispose batteries in fire.
Batteries may explode or leak. Do not mix old
and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard
(carbon - zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)
batteries. Exhausted batteries are to be removed
from the product. Non-rechargeable batteries are
not to be recharged.
1. Remove the battery cover by pressing firmly
on the arrow and sliding the cover off.
2. Install two 1.5V AAA batteries (included).
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct
polarity.
3. Slide the battery cover on the remote control
till it click in place.

LEARNING PROCESS

IMPORTANT: This fan has been pre-paired
at the factory and the fan can be used now. If you
have two or more fans, please follow steps below
to control each fan independently. Also follow steps
below to re-pair the remote and the receiver when
needed.
NOTE: The dip switch in the battery compartment
has been set on “0” position for your convenience.
If you want to re-pair the remote, please set the
dip switch on “1” position.
To add a remote to your fan’s memory, use the
steps below:
Ensure AC power to the fan is OFF to begin the
learning process.
Slide the dip switch in the battery compartment
to the "1" position.
Turn the fan’s AC power ON.
Within 30 seconds of turning AC power on, press
and release the "LEARN" button located in the
remote's battery compartment to enter the learning
function. The fan blades will start to spin.
The fan will now accept commands from the
added remote.
If you would like to set the dip switch back to the
"0" position after a learning, please re-pair the
remote by following the learning process again.
NOTE: If installing multiple fans on separate
remotes, only the fan being programmed should
have AC power turned ON. All other fans, even if
they have already been programmed, should have
AC power OFF so they do not memorize other
remotes during the learning process. Separate
the fan power switches by approximately 2 meters.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. The reverse switch is located on the
surface of the motor housing. Slide the
switch to the left for warm weather
operation. Slide the switch to the right for
cool weather operation.
NOTE: Wait for the fan to stop before
reversing the direction of the blade rotation.

2A. Warm weather - (Counter-clockwise Direction)
A downward air flow creates a cooling effect.
This allows you to set your air conditioner on
a warmer setting without affecting your comfort.
2B. Cool weather - (Clockwise Direction) An
upward air flow moves warm air off the ceiling.
This allows you to set your heating unit on a
cooler setting without affecting your comfort.
Check the support connections, brackets, and blade attachments twice a year. Make sure they are
secure. Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose over time. It is
not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling. Clean your fan periodically. Use only a soft brush or
lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer to
minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
IMPORTANT: Shut off main power supply before beginning any maintenance. Do not use water or
a damp cloth to clean the ceiling fan.

The distributor warrants this fan to be free from defects in workmanship and materials present at time
of shipment from the factory for Lifetime limited from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only
to the original purchaser. The distributor agrees to correct any defect at no charge or, at our option,
replace the ceiling fan with a comparable or superior model.
To obtain warranty service, present a copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase. All cost of
removal and reinstallation are the express responsibility of the purchaser. Any damage to the ceiling
fan by accident, misuse or improper installation, or by using parts not produced by the manufacturer of
this fan or affixing accessories not produced by the manufacturer of this fan, are the purchaser's own
responsibility. The distributor assumes no responsibility whatsoever for fan installation during the
limited lifetime warranty. Any service performed by an unauthorized person will render the warranty
invalid.
Due to varying climatic conditions, this warranty does not cover changes in brass finish, rusting,
pitting, tarnishing, corroding or peeling. Brass finish fans maintain their beauty when protected from
varying weather conditions. Any glass provided with this fan is not covered by the warranty.
Any replacement of defective parts for the ceiling fan must be reported within the first year from the
date of purchase. For the balance of the warranty, call our customer service department (at
888-251-1003) for return authorization and shipping instructions so that we may repair or replace the
ceiling fan. Any fan or parts returned improperly packaged is/are the sole responsibility of the
purchaser. There is no further express warranty. The distributor disclaims any and all implied
warranties. The duration of any implied warranty which cannot be disclaimed is limited to the limited
lifetime period as specified in our warranty. The distributor shall not be liable for incidental,
consequential or special damages arising at or in connection with product use or performance except
as may otherwise be accorded by law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty supersedes all prior warranties.

Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descargas eléctricas o lesiones personales, monte
en una caja de salida de clasificación UL apta para sostener ventiladores de 15.90 kg
(35 lb), o menos, y use los tornillos de montaje provistos con la caja de salida. La
mayoría de las cajas de salida que se utilizan comúnmente para sostener las lámparas
no son aptas para sostener un ventilador y puede ser necesario reemplazarlas. Si tiene dudas,
consulte a un electricista calificado.
Para disminuir el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica o lesiones personales, monta el
ventilador sobre la caja eléctrica marcada como “aprobada como soporte de ventilador” y usa
los tornillos de montaje que vienen con la misma.
¿NECESITA AYUDA? En caso de que el vidrio esté roto o haya piezas faltantes, llame al
888-251-1003. No devuelva el ventilador de techo al lugar donde lo compró. Asegúrese de tener
a mano el manual del propietario, el número de artículo o de modelo, el acabado, el color, el tipo
de vidrio, etc.
La declaración de atención debe leerse de esta manera.
ATENCIÓN: se recomienda la utilización de un soporte de ventilador con todos los ventiladores

PELIGRO: si utiliza una caja de salida existente, asegúrese de que esté bien sujeta a la

MONTAJE DEL VENTILADOR
1. Fije la placa de montaje (A) a la caja de salida
(no se incluye) con los dos tornillos y
arandelas que se incluyen con la caja de

2. Asegúrese de que las aberturas de las ranuras
del anillo de la carcasa (B) estén en la parte
superior y después deslícelo (B) en el
ensamble del motor del ventilador (E).
Levante el ensamble del motor del ventilador
(E) hasta la placa de montaje (A) y cuelgue el
ventilador en el gancho incluido usando uno
de los orificios en el borde exterior del
ensamble del motor (E).
ADVERTENCIA: para reducir los riesgos

lesiones personales, instale el ventilador solo
en una caja de salida o en un sistema de
soporte que estén marcados como aptos para
sostener ventiladores y utilice los tornillos de

sujetar el ventilador mientras se conecta el
cableado. Si no se cuelga como se indica, el
gancho puede romperse y hacer que el ventilador

Gire las conexiones del empalme plástico
hacia arriba, sepárelas de modo que los
cables verdes (a tierra) y blanco queden a un
lado y los cables negro y azul al otro lado.
CABLEADO
ADVERTENCIA: verifique que todas las
conexiones estén ajustadas, incluida la conexión a
tierra, y que no haya conductores desnudos
visibles en los empalmes plásticos, excepto el

ventilador. Asegure los empalmes plásticos con
cinta aislante. Asegúrese de que no haya

Retire el ensamble del motor del ventilador
(E) del gancho de la placa de montaje y calce
los orificios guía en el ensamble del motor del
ventilador (E) con los dos tornillos de la placa
de montaje y arandelas de seguridad que
aflojó antes.
Coloque los dos tornillos de la placa de
montaje con las arandelas de seguridad que
retiró antes y ajuste los cuatro tornillos de la
placa de montaje con las arandelas de
seguridad.
Levante el anillo de la carcasa (B) y alinee
las cuatro lengüetas con las cuatro ranuras
en el ensamble del motor del ventilador (E).
Una vez realizada la alineación, deslice el
anillo de la carcasa (B) hacia el ensamble del
motor del ventilador (E) hasta que quede
ajustado.

Inserte el aspa (C) a través de la ranura del
motor. Alinee los orificios en el aspa (C) y el
ensamble del motor del ventilador (E), y
asegure el aspa en su lugar con la placa de
soporte del aspa con los tornillos y las
arandelas de seguridad (D) incluidos.
Repita este proceso para unir las otras aspas

Mientras sostiene el kit de luces LED de 20W
(F) debajo del ensamble del motor del
ventilador (E), enganche los enchufes de la
conexión de los cables: el blanco con el
blanco, el negro con el negro.
Coloque las muescas en el borde interior del
kit de luces LED de 20W (F) de modo que
coincidan con las lengüetas en el exterior del
borde de la placa de montaje del kit de luces.
Levante con cuidado el kit de luces LED de
20W (F) dentro de la placa de montaje del kit
de luces y gírelo en dirección de las
manecillas del reloj para asegurarlo y que
quede ajustado.

PRECAUCIÓN: antes de comenzar la
instalación, desconecte la alimentación colocando
el interruptor de circuito en la posición de apagado
o retirando el fusible de la caja de fusibles. No
basta con colocar el interruptor del ventilador en la
posición de apagado para evitar descargas
eléctricas.
NOTA: si el kit de luces se puede mover con la
mano, significa que no se ha girado por completo
hasta la posición correcta. Siga girando el kit de
luces hasta que no moverlo con la mano.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
NOTA: el control remoto se ha emparejado
previamente en la fábrica para su comodidad.
NOTA: las baterías se debilitarán con el tiempo y
deben reemplazarse antes de que se produzcan
fugas, ya que esto dañará el control remoto.
Deseche las pilas usadas correctamente y
manténgalas fuera del alcance de los niños. No
deseche las baterías en el fuego. Las baterías
pueden explotar o fugar. No mezcle pilas viejas y
nuevas. No mezcle pilas alcalinas, estándar
(carbón - zinc) o recargables (níquel - cadmio).
Las baterías no recargables no deben
recargarse.
1. Presione firmemente la flecha y deslice la
cubierta de las baterías para retirarla.
2. Coloque dos baterías AAA de 1.5 voltios
(incluidas). Las baterías deben insertarse
con la polaridad correcta.

IMPORTANTE: si tiene dos o más
ventiladores, siga los pasos a continuación para
controlar cada ventilador de forma independiente.
También siga los siguientes pasos para volver a
emparejar el control remoto y el recibidor cada
vez que sea necesario.
NOTA: el interruptor magnético en el
compartimiento de la batería se ha configurado
en la posición "0" para su comodidad. Si desea
volver a emparejar el control remoto, configure el
interruptor magnético en la posición "1".
Para agregar un control remoto a la memoria de
su ventilador, siga los pasos a continuación:
Asegúrese de que la alimentación de CA al
ventilador esté APAGADA para comenzar el
proceso de aprendizaje.
Deslice el interruptor magnético en el
compartimiento de la batería a la posición "1".
ENCIENDA la alimentación de CA del ventilador.
Dentro de los 30 segundos de encender la

FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. El interruptor de reversa está ubicado en la

interruptor hacia la izquierda para que funcione

NOTA: espere a que el ventilador se detenga
antes de invertir la dirección de rotación de
las aspas.

descendente crea un efecto de enfriamiento.
Esto permite establecer el aire acondicionado
en un ajuste más cálido sin afectar la
comodidad.

del reloj) Un flujo de aire ascendente mueve
el aire cálido fuera del techo. Esto permite
establecer la unidad de calefacción en un
ajuste de temperatura más frío sin afectar la

Al menos dos veces al año, baje la base para revisar el ensamble de la varilla y luego apriete todos
los tornillos en el ventilador. Limpie el ventilador solo con un cepillo suave o un paño que no produzca
pelusas para evitar rayar el acabado. Limpie las aspas con un paño que no produzca pelusas. De vez
en cuando puede aplicar una fina capa de cera para muebles en las aspas de madera para darles
más protección.
IMPORTANTE: antes de realizar cualquier trabajo de mantenimiento, desconecte el suministro
principal de electricidad. No utilice agua ni un paño húmedo para limpiar el ventilador de techo.

El distribuidor garantiza que este ventilador no presenta defectos en la mano de obra ni en los
materiales presentes al momento del transporte desde la fábrica durante un período limitado de por
vida a partir de la fecha de compra. Esta garantía es válida solo para el comprador original. El
distribuidor acepta reparar cualquier defecto sin cargo o, según nuestro criterio, remplazar el
ventilador de techo por un modelo comparable o superior.
Para obtener el servicio de garantía, presente una copia del recibo de venta como comprobante de la
compra. Todos los costos de extracción y reinstalación son responsabilidad absoluta del comprador.
Cualquier daño al ventilador de techo producido por accidente, uso indebido o instalación incorrecta, o
por el uso de piezas no producidas por el fabricante de este ventilador o accesorios de fijación que no
son del fabricante de este ventilador, será responsabilidad del comprador. El distribuidor no asume
ningún tipo de responsabilidad por la instalación del ventilador durante la garantía limitada de por
vida. Cualquier servicio realizado por una persona no autorizada invalidará la garantía.
