Power Supply
k Auto Power Off Function
Triggered after about 15 minutes of non-operation.
To restore power: Function Selector to OFF then ON, or hold
down v(ON).
k Back-up Battery
Your calculator comes with a single built-in CR2032 lithium
battery that provides power to retain values stored in memory
when the calculator is not plugged in to an AC power outlet. You
will need to replace the back-up battery about once every 22
months to maintain memory contents if you leave the calculator
without power.
• Keep battery away from small children. If swallowed consult
with your physician immediately.
k RESET Button
• Pressing the RESET button causes memory to be cleared. Be
sure to keep separate records of all important settings and
numeric data to protect against accidental loss.
• Press the RESET button on the back of the calculator to
restore normal operation whenever the calculator does not
operate correctly. If pressing the RESET button does not
restore normal operation, contact your original retailer or
nearby dealer.
About the Input Buffer
The input buffer of this calculator holds up to 16 key operations
so you can continue key input even while another operation is
being processed.

Alimentación

insulating sheet described below, and then connect the power
plug. Finally, press the RESET button.

remove the old battery. Do not use a
lead pencil.

k After Print, Reprint
• Press j to print operations and calculation results. The
first line of a j operation will be “• • • • 0 • • • •”.
- You can reprint data that has already been printed. (Reprint)
- You can print a calculation, even if printing was turned off
when you performed it. (After Print)
• To stop printing, press j again or v.
• If you change the Function Selector position during a
calculation, pressing j will not print the calculation. In
this case, pressing j will display “no Print”.
• After performing the tax rate setting or display operation,
j is disabled until you press v.
• If the message “FULL” appears when you press j, it
means that calculation memory is full.
- Calculation memory can hold up to 150 steps (Example: 1+
is one step, 1+2+ is two steps.)
- To print current memory contents after “FULL” appears,

• Before starting a new calculation, be sure to press v first.
• Pressing : during an addition or subtraction calculation prints
the intermediate result up to that point.
• Pressing & prints the result (total) and adds it to grand total
memory. This also automatically clears the result, so you can
start the next calculation without pressing v.
• Pressing G calculates the grand total. It also automatically
clears grand total memory.

• Specifying the Number of Items
Inputting a value and pressing i adds up to the three least
significant (rightmost) digits of the input value to the item count.
If the input value includes a decimal part, the decimal part is cut
off and only the integer is used.

1.23 i ➝ Adds 1 to the item count.
