FUNCTION AND PURPOSE
These stands are intended to support foodservice appliances (for
example, Vollrath gas appliances and more) with corresponding
equipment widths. Mobile equipment stands are not to be used
as carts, but to allow limited mobility for cleaning.
Thoroughly clean and dry these stands before use.
UNPACKING
1. Remove all packing material and tape, as well as any
protective plastic; dispose of in an environmentally
responsible way when no longer needed.
2. Clean any glue residue left over from the plastic or tape.
LEG INSTALLATION
1. Insert the leg (A) through the hole in the shelf (B). See
illustration below. Repeat for all legs.
WARNING
The shelf is to be positioned at 6 ⅛” (15.6 cm) from the floor for the
best structural integrity. Ensure that all screws are in place and tight.
Do not use the stand if any screws are missing.

Restraining device must be used with mobile stands.
Installation of this appliance must conform with local codes,
or in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas
Code, NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1.
9.6.1.1 Commercial Cooking Appliances. Commercial cooking
appliances that are moved for cleaning and sanitation
purposes shall be connected in accordance with the connector
manufacturer’s installation instructions using a listed appliance
connector complying with ANSI Z21.69/CSA6.22, Connectors
for Movable Gas Appliances. The commercial cooking appliance
connector installation shall be configured in accordance with the
manufacturer’s installation instructions.
9.6.1.2 Movement of appliances with casters shall be limited by
restraining device installed with the connector and appliance
manufacturer’s installation instructions.
To reduce risk of injury or damage to the unit
• Use this equipment in a flat, level position.
• Included restraining device must be installed and used in
accordance with the device manufacturer's instructions.
• Before each use, inspect the unit to ensure it is clean.
• Items must not protrude or hang over the edge of the stand.
• Operate in non-public areas, away from children—and attend
unit during use.
• Only operate if functioning properly and undamaged.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Clean the stand per the Cleaning section of this manual.
2. Ensure stand is in a flat, level location, a restraining
device is in use, and casters are locked.
CLEANING
NOTICE: Clean the stand after every use to maintain
appearance and increase service life.
3. Use a damp cloth or sponge dipped in soapy water to wipe
surfaces of the stand.
SERVICE AND REPAIR
To avoid serious injury or damage, never attempt to repair the
unit or replace a damaged power cord yourself. Do not send
units directly to The Vollrath Company LLC. Please contact
Vollrath Technical Service for instructions.
When contacting Vollrath Technical Service, please be ready
with the item number, model number (if applicable), serial
number, and proof of purchase showing the date the unit was
purchased.

The Vollrath Company LLC warrants to the original commercial
end user that each of Vollrath’s foodservice products will be
free from defects in materials and workmanship.

2. Slide the shelf (G) into the top of the caster (C); see
illustration below. Repeat for all legs.

3. Install casters and tighten them by turning the assembly
clockwise. Slide the shelf down so it touches the tops of
the casters.
4. Tighten the eight hex bolts with the wrench (E) provided
(75-80 in. lb).
WARNING
Level or adjust the stand when there is nothing on the top (F)
or shelf (G).
WARNING
Only use this mobile stand with the included restraining device
or the Vollrath® replacement as identified in the table.
5. Place stand in desired location, install the equipment to
be used on the stand, then install the restraining device
in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
