Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth
or sponge
• Lightly grease the plates with butter or
cooking oil
• Plug in the sandwich maker and heat until
the green ready light switches off
Note: Light smoke during first use is normal
due to initial heating of internal components.
Cleaning
Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners - they
damage the non-stick coating.
1. Unplug and cool completely
2. Remove excess oil with kitchen paper
3. Use wooden/plastic spatula
for stuck food
4. Clean plates and exterior with damp cloth
5. Wipe exterior with damp cloth

Plug in the waffle maker. Both the red and
green lights will turn on while it heats.
Once the red light switches off, this will
indicate the waffle maker is heated up and
the green light will remain on to indicate
