concerning the safe use of the product by a
person responsible for their safety.
Improper use may result in serious injury.
Always ensure the operator is capable of
understanding and following the safety

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised service agent, or a similarly
qualified person.
• Before connecting, check that the voltage
shown on the underside of the appliance
matches your mains supply. Connect to an
earthed wall socket only.
• Do not operate using an external timer or
remote control system.
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable
surface with adequate space around it. Do
not allow the cord to hang over the edge
of a table or sink, or come into contact with
hot surfaces.
• Always preheat the cooking plate before
use. Never use sharp or abrasive utensils
on the plate, as this will damage the non-
stick coating.
• After use, unplug the appliance and allow
it to cool fully before cleaning. Never
immerse in water or allow water to enter
the appliance.
Before First Use
• Plug in the waffle maker. Both the red and
green lights will turn on while it heats.
• Once the red light switches off, this will
indicate the waffle maker is heated up and
the green light will remain on to indicate it’s
ready to use.
• Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth
or sponge.
• Lightly grease the plates with butter or
cooking oil.
• Plug in the waffle maker and heat until the
green ready light switches off.
NOTE: Light smoke during first use is normal
due to initial heating of internal components.
Operation
1. Plug in the waffle maker. Both the red and

2. Once the red light switches off, this will
indicate the waffle maker is heated up and

centre of the mould.
5. Gently close the lid. CAUTION: Do not
overfill the mould to prevent mixture from
overflowing.
6. Allow to cook for 5-8 mins or until your
desired level of browning has been
reached.
7. Once cooked, remove the waffle with heat
