Operations
CAUTION: Always use care, and wear appropriate eye and hand protection
when connecting anything to a pressurized air conditioning/refrigeration system!
Follow these instructions carefully and do NOT connect to systems exceeding the
stated pressure limitations!
The injection gun injects dye into the air conditioning (A/C) system without the need to
evacuate any refrigerant.
1. Remove the drip cap from the adapter hose; then connect the adapter to the A/C system port.
(SYSTEM RUNNING: connect to low side only - SYSTEM NOT RUNNING: make certain system
pressure has equalized, and connect to either high or low side).
WARNING:
DO NOT ATTACH TO SYSTEMS HAVING PRESSURE ABOVE 200 PSI (13.6 BAR)
2. Inject dye into the A/C system by squeezing the trigger until all the dye is emptied from
the cartridge, (FIG. 4). (Check Cartridge Selection Chart, FIG. 5)
3. Disconnect the adapter from A/C system then attach the drip cap to the adapter hose.
