
1. Plug in your hub and wait until the LED
blinks orange and blue.
Note: If the LED is not blinking orange and blue, press and
hold the SYNC button for 5 seconds to reset the hub.

2. Remove the battery insulation tab to
power up your sensor. The LED should
begin to blink.
Note: If the LED is not blinking, refer to the reverse side for
reset instructions.

02/ Set Up Your Device
1. Get the Tapo app from the App Store
or Google Play, and log in.
OR
2. Tap the button in the app and select
Hubs. Follow the in-app instructions to
set up and connect your Tapo sensors
or more to the hub.
Note: You can also tap the button. Select Sensors and
then your model, and choose the added hub for your
sensors.
03/ Mount Your Sensor
1. Stick the included adhesives on the
sensor and magnet.

2. Choose where you’d like to install the
sensor (but don’t attach it yet). Place
the magnet near the edge of the door
or window that moves.
Note:
· Leave at least 0.39 inches (10 mm) of space so you can open
the battery compartment.

3. Align the magnet and sensor with no
more than 0.59 inches (15 mm)
between them when the door or
window is closed.

press the sensor and magnet into

How to replace the battery
Avoid replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a
safeguard.
Avoid disposal of a battery into re or a hot oven, or mechanically
crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion.
Do not leave a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding
environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of ammable
liquid or gas; Do not leave a battery subjected to extremely low air
pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of ammable liquid
or gas.
CAUTION!
This product contains a coin / button cell battery. If the coin / button cell
battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and
can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children.
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the
product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part
of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
Do not mix old and new batteries, dierent brands or types of batteries, such
as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.
Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not
used for an extended period of time according to local regulations.
Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery
compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the
batteries, and keep them away from children.
