Birdie
The Birdie Handheld St eam er is an innovat ive product t hat cleans and sanitizes your
hom e by harnessing t he nat ural cleaning power of hot steam v apor. This unique
st eam er is well- suit ed t o clean a variety of surfaces t hat lift dirt and debris from
o
st ubborn areas. The Birdie heats water up t o 212 F and produces st eam by pum ping
the handle. I t can be refilled swift ly for up to 10 m inut es of st eam tim e. The user-
friendly design and energy saving feat ure is intended t o t ackle the toughest dirt and
debr is. The Birdie requires no assem bly, j ust at t ach t he t ools and go. I t feat ures a
1500- watt heat ing elem ent, a 200m l/ 6.8 fl oz water t ank, 8 piece accessory kit, and

When using an elect rical appliance, basic precaut ions should alw ays be followed. To
reduce t he risk of fire, electric shock, or inj ury:
Be sure t o unplug t he elect rical cord when appliance is not in use and while servicing.
Do not leave t he steam er unattended while young children, pets or infirm persons
are around.
Children should be supervised and caut ioned that t he st eam er is not a toy and
should not be played with.
Do not direct st eam towards people, pet s, elect rical appliances, or elect rical out lets.
Do not im m erse the st eam er in wat er or other liquids.
Do not handle st eam er with w et hands.
Do not pull power cord t o disconnect appliance from socket or use cor d as a handle.
Be sure t o keep cord away from heat , water, and sharp edges.
Do not use if cord or plug is dam aged.
Do not use ext ension cords or outlet s wit h inadequate current carrying capacity.
Do not use st eam er on any steam sensit ive m at erial such as v elvet , leather, wax
polished furnit ure or floors, sy nthetic and other delicat e fabrics.
Do not use on unsealed hardwood floor s. By doing so, you m ay rem ove t he sheen
from t he st eam . I t is recom m ended t o t est an isolat ed area w it h t he steam m op
before pr oceeding. As a pr ecaution, you should check the m anual m ade by the floor
m anufact urer for proper care instructions.
Never put cleaning detergent s or chem icals int o t he st eam er as it will m ake t he
product unsafe and dam age t he unit .
Use only m anufact urer's recom m ended accessories.
St op using st eam er if circuit breaker act ivates. Beware of risk of shock.
Wear proper shoes when operating your st eam er. Open-toed shoes, slippers or bare
feet m ay cause you t o slip and fall or cause hot st eam on your feet .
Allow your st eam er to cool down before storing in a cool, dr y place.

ASSEM BLY AN D USE
Connect ing Jet Nozzle:
1) I nser t j et nozzle t o st eam nozzle and align tabs.
2) Rot at e j et nozzle clockwise unt il it locks int o place with the st eam nozzle.
Connect ing Ut ility Br ush( s) / Wide Nozzle Head:
3) Begin by aligning hexagonal shaped hole on back of t he utilit y brush wit h hexagonal
tip of t he j et nozzle and press firm ly.
I MPORTANT: Make sure t he accessory is pushed as far as possible ont o t ip t o ensure
the fit is sealed. This will pr event st eam fr om seeping out unwant ed areas and prevent
inj ury.
4) To rem ove ut ility brush, m ake sure t he unit is unplugged and has cooled down.
Fir m ly pull on brush unt il it det aches it self from the nozzle head.
Connect ing Squeegee:
5) Connect t he squeegee t o the w ide nozzle head by snapping t he t abs locat ed at t he
bot tom of the squeegee wit h the bottom of t he wide st eam nozzle head.
6) Connect t he wide nozzle t o the j et nozzle.

NOTE: The st eam er does not require dist illed water. Resident s in areas wit h hard water
should used dist illed w at er for bet t er per form ance.
USE:
7) Fill st eam er by unscrewing water t ank cap and filling t he unit wit h water by using
m easuring cup provided.
8) When r ed indicat or light illum inates, st eam er is ready for use. Be sur e t o have
desired at t achm ents in place before plugging in the unit.
NOTE: It is recom m ended t hat another high w at t age appliance is not operated on the
sam e circuit to avoid a circuit overload.

10) When you finish cleaning, unplug power cord from out let. Be sur e to em pt y water
tank and carefully rem ove any accessor ies for drying.

1) The m icrofiber clot h cover can be m achine w ashed in hot water and t um ble dry. Do
not use bleach or fabric soft ener. Allow t o dry fully before use.
2) Wipe st eam er with soft clot h w hen/ if necessary.

Calcium and m ineral deposits can build up and
im pact t he perform ance of y our st eam er, use distilled
wat er if necessary.

This can be caused by leaving the st eam er in t he
sam e spot for too long. Residue can be rem oved wit h
household white vinegar or a decalcifying pr oduct.

Alter nat ively, reheat the area for one m inute t o
rem ove r esidue ( do not overheat area.)

The m icrofiber clot h pad m ay be overused and
needs t o be changed out w it h addit ional clot h pad( s)
provided. Clot h pads can be cleaned in washer / dryer.

Our Sienna product warranty ext ends only t o t he original cust om er
purchaser of t he product . I t is warranted by the manufacturer to be free
from all defect s in m aterials or workm anship for a period of one year
from the date of original purchase. This warrant y is subj ect t o the
following conditions, exclusions and except ions.
Ex clusions:
This warrant y does not cover norm al wear and tear of part s and does not
apply t o any product that has been tam pered with or used for
com m ercial purposes. This warrant y does not cover dam age caused by
m isuse, abuse, negligent handling or dam age due t o m ishandling in
transit or shipping. This warranty does not cover dam age or defect s
caused by or result ing from repairs, service or alt erat ions t o t he product
or any of it s parts, which have been perform ed by a repair person not
authorized by t he m anufact urer. This warrant y is effect ive only if the
product is purchased and operat ed in the USA or Canada, and does not
extend to any unit s which have been used in violat ion of writ t en
inst ructions furnished by t he m anufact urer, or t o units w hich have had
the serial num ber rem oved, alt ered, defaced or rendered illegible.
Perform ance :
During t he lim it ed warrant y period, the m anufact urer will, at its opt ion,
repair or replace free of charge a defect ive product or part t hat is
covered by this w arrant y. As a m att er of warr ant y policy, the
m anufact urer will not refund the purchase price. A repaired or
replacem ent product will be covered by this warrant y for t he balance of
the init ial one year warrant y period and an additional one m ont h period.

Limited Warranty Policy
All Pyle products are carefully constructed and thoroughly tested before shipment.
Products purchased in the USA are warranted to be free of defects in material and
workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited
to the original retail purchaser.
Should the product fall due to factory defect in material or workmanship, your unit
will be repaired or replaced at the solo discretion of Sound Around Inc. You can
contact our customer service department at (718) 535-1800.
To obtain warranty service, the unit must be carefully packed and shipped prepaid

Our Obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the
defective unit when it is returned to us prepaid. This warranty will be considered
void if the unit was tampered with, improperly serviced or subject to misuse, ne-
