Batteries
Replacing the batteries
Remove the cover of the battery compartment on the bottom of the scale.
Take out the old batteries and and replace with 2 new ones, ensuring that they
are positioned according to the correct polarities +/-.
Fix the back cover back on top of the battery compartment.
When discarding of old unwanted batteries, it is important to follow local
recycling guidelines to ensure they are disposed of safely and responsibly.
Using the Scale
Switch On
To switch on the scale press the “POWER/TARE” button.
To Weigh
1. Place the scale on a at surface and place the bowl on top of the platform.
2. Press the “POWER/TARE” button to switch it on.
3. You can start to weigh when the display shows “0”.
To Change Units
To change the unit of measurement press the “UNIT” button. Choose
between grams (g), pounds and ounces (lb.oz), millilitres (ml) and fuid
ounces (f.oz).
Tare Function – Add and Weigh
The tare function is useful to calculate the weight of ingredients that cannot
be put directly onto the platform, for example our or liquids that require a
container to hold them before being weighed.

The tare function is also useful for weighing different ingredients into the
measuring bowl as you go along, for instance once you’ve added the rst
ingredient to weigh, press the “POWER/TARE” button and the scale will return to
zero “0”, which allows you then weight the next ingredient accurately.
Automatic Switch Off
The scale will automatically switch off after 60 seconds of no use.
Manual Switch Off
You can manually switch the scale off at any time by pressing and holding the
“
POWER/TARE” button for 2 seconds.
Cleaning and Care
When using this scale, please ensure it is used on a dry, at even surface.
The scale is not waterproof, therefore should not be exposed to moisture or
submerged under water.
To clean the scale, use a slightly damp cloth to wipe over it. Do not use any
chemical or abrasive cleaning products to clean the scale.
If you plan to not use the scale for a long time, remove the batteries before
storing away.
Low battery
This symbol gives advance warning
that the battery will run out soon.
No battery power remaining
This means it’s time to change the
batteries.
Unstable weight
This is shown when weight is not
stablised or the scale is not on an
even surface.
Overload
This means that the maximum
weight limit has been exceeded.
Remove some ingredients to prevent
damaging the scale.

REMPLACER LES PILES
Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à pile à l’arrière de la balance. Enlevez
les anciennes piles et remplacez-les avec 2 nouvelles en vous assurant que
les pôles +/- soient correctement placés. Remettez le couvercle du
compartiment à pile en place.
Lorsque vous jetez de vieilles piles et batteries, il est important de suivre les
règles de recyclage locales afin qu’elles soient disposées en tout sécurité et
responsablement.
Utiliser la balance
ALLUMER LA BALANCE
Pour allumer la balance, appuyez sur la touche d'alimentation / TARE.
POUR PESER
1. Placez la balance sur une surface plate et placez le bol sur la plateforme.
2. Appuyez sur la touche d'alimentation / TARE pour l’allumer.

Cette fonction est également pratique pour peser différents ingrédients dans le

Batterijen vervangen
Verwijder het deksel van het batterijvak aan de achterkant van de
weegschaal. Verwijder de oude batterijen en vervang deze met 3
nieuwe batterijen, zorg ervoor dat de +/- polen correct geplaatst zijn.
Sluit het batterijvak.
Volg bij het verwijderen van batterijen de locale richtlijnen voor het
veilig en verantwoord behandelen en recyclen van oude batterijen.
Gebruik van de Weegschaal
Weegschaal aan zetten
Druk op de aan/uit ("ON/TARE") knop om de weegschaal aan te
zetten.
Wegen
1. Plaats de weegschaal op een vlakke ondergrond en zet de kom op het
platform.
2. Druk op de aan/uit "ON/TARE" knop om de weegschaal aan te
zetten.
3. Zodra de weegschaal "0" aangeeft kunt u beginnen met wegen.
Gewichtseenheid Veranderen
Druk op de "UNIT" knop om de gewichtseenheid te veranderen. Kies tussen
grammen (g), ponden (lb), ounce (oz), milliliters (ml) en fluid ounce (fl.oz).
Tare Functie – Toevoegen en wegen
De Tare functie is handig om het gewicht van ingrediënten die niet
rechtstreeks op het platform gewogen kunnen worden te berekenen;
ingrediënten zoals bijvoorbeeld bloem of vloeistoffen die een houder
nodig hebben om knoeien te voorkomen.

De Tare functie is ook ideaal om verschillende ingrediënten te wegen
die u na elkaar aan de mengkom toevoegt, u kunt bijvoorbeeld na het
eerste ingrediënt op de "ON/TARE" knop drukken om de weegschaal
te
resetten zodat deze weer op "0" gaat, wat het gemakkelijker maakt om
het volgende ingrediënt precies te wegen.
Automatisch Uitschakelen
De weegschaal schakelt na 60 seconden zonder gebruik automatisch uit.
Handmatig uitschakelen
De weegschaal kan op elk moment handmatig uitgeschakeld worden door
op de aan/uit ("ON/TARE") knop 2 seconden lang ingedrukt te houden.
Schoonmaak en Onderhouden
Zorg dat de weegschaal alleen op een droge, vlakke ondergrond
gebruikt wordt.
De weegschaal is niet waterbestendig, stel het product bloot aan vocht en
dompel het niet onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
Om de weegschaal schoon te maken kunt u deze afnemen met een licht
vochtige doek. Gebruik geen chemische schoonmaakproducten of
schuurmiddelen om de weegschaal schoon te maken.
Verwijder, in het geval dat u de weegschaal voor lange tijd niet zult
gebruiken, de batterijen voor het apparaat op te bergen.
Batterij bijna leeg
Dit symbool geeft van tevoren aan
dat de batterij binnenkort leeg zal
zijn.
Batterij leeg
Dit geeft aan dat dat de batterijen
verwisseld moeten worden.
Negatief gewicht: Dit wordt getoond
wanneer gewicht van het platform wordt
verwijderd terwijl de weegschaal tijdens het
gebruik van de Tare functie.
Overbelast
Dit betekent dat het limiet voor
maximumgewicht is overschreden. Verwijder
het voorwerp of een deel van de
ingrediënten om schade aan de weegschaal
te voorkomen.
