IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit correctly into the outlet, flip it. If
it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying
the plug in any way.
EXTENSION CORD USE
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping
over a longer cord.
The use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, longer extension cords may be used if care
is exercised.

If an extension cord is used,
a.
The leveled electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as
the electrical rating of the appliance.
b.
The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly. It
should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.

BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Remove all packing material and stickers from the product and save instruction manual.
•
Cut and remove tie wrap located between the electric plug blades.
•
Before using your new appliance, wipe the body of the appliance with a damp cloth.
•
Wash the bowl, blades and cover in warm sudsy water and then rinse and dry thoroughly.
HOW TO USE YOUR CHOPPER
•
Place appliance on a flat stable surface.
•
Insert the bowl over the metal shaft on the base, lining up the bowl locking tabs to the locking
slots.

•
Place the blades down over the shaft.
Caution
: Be careful not to touch the blades as it are extremely sharp.
•
Place food into the bowl on top of the blades.
Caution
: Do not operate the appliance when empty.
•
Place the cover on the bowl. Be certain the cover is securely locked in place before operating the
appliance.
Note
: For your protection, this unit has a Cover Locking System. Do not attempt to operate the unit without
locking the cover in place.
•
Plug into a standard 120 Volt AC outlet.
•
Press and release pulse button to begin chopping. The longer you pulse, the finer the texture.
Note
: This appliance is intended for processing small quantities of food. It is not intended to prepare large
quantities of food at one time.
Caution
: Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds at a time.
•
When the food has reached the desired texture, release the pulse button and the chopper will stop.
•
Remove the cover.
Caution
: Be sure the blades stop spinning before removing the cover.
•
Carefully remove the blades by lifting it by its center.
Caution
: Do not touch the blades.
•
Remove the bowl from the base.
•
Remove the food, preferably with a rubber spatula.
Note
: Do not use the bowl for storing food.
•
Unplug the unit.

CARE AND CLEANING
This product contains no user serviceable parts

•
Unplug the unit.
•
After each use, wash the bowl, cover, and blades with warm sudsy water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly. Take care not to wet the electrical parts. Never rinse the appliance directly under the
tap water and never immerse it in water or other liquids.
Caution
: Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
Note
: Make sure all the parts are properly reassembled before each use.
•
Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
•
The appliance and its parts are NOT dishwasher safe.
•
Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal pads to clean the appliance.
•
Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the appliance.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
•
Wind the electrical cord into a coil and secure with a twist fastener.
•
Store your appliance in a dry location, such as on a tabletop, countertop, or on a cupboard shelf.
•
Other than recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary.

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (un contacto es más ancho que el otro). Para reducir el riesgo de
choque eléctrico, este enchufe entra en un contacto polarizado de una sola manera. Si el enchufe no entra
correctamente, inviértalo. Si aún así no encaja, busque la ayuda de un electricista calificado. No intente

USO DE UN CABLE DE EXTENSIÓN

ANTES DE UTILIZAR POR PRIMERA VEZ
•
Retire todo el material de empaque y las calcomanías adheridas al producto y conserve el manual
de instrucciones.
•
Corte y retire la banda plástica que pasa por los contactos del enchufe.
•
Antes de usar el picador, limpie toda la superficie de la misma con un paño húmedo.
•
Lave el recipiente, las cuchillas y la tapa con agua tibia y jabón. Enjuague y seque.
COMO USAR SU PICADOR
•
Coloque el producto sobre una superficie plana y estable.
•
Coloque el recipiente en la guía que se encuentra sobre la base, alineando la guía de seguridad del
recipiente con el de la base.

Nota
: Para su protección el picador cuenta con un Seguro de Cierre para la Tapa. No trate de operar el
equipo sin antes asegurar la tapa.
•
Enchufe en una toma de corriente estándar de 120 voltios de corriente alterna.
•
Presione y suelte el botón de función de pulso para iniciar el picado. Mientras más tiempo dure
presionando el botón, más fina será la textura.
Nota
