HERRAMIENTA UNIVERSAL PARA LOS PISTONES DE LA PINZA DE FRENO

Application:
Resetting brake caliper piston on most foreign and domestic vehicles. Works with clockwise, counter-clockwise, and static
push-back style brake calipers.
Components:
1. Push Plate 5. Center Screw & Yoke Assembly
2. T-Handle Bar 6. Hex Adapter
3. Two-Pin Adapter 7. Blow Molded Case (not pictured)
4. Universal Pin Adapter
Instructions:
1. Always make sure the vehicle is on a hard, level working surface. Chock the wheels. For rear brake calipers, release the
parking brake. Be sure to support the caliper. Do not allow any hose or wiring to be compromised. (It may be necessary
to remove the caliper from the vehicle.)
2. Select the proper adapter (universal or two-pin). When using (4) the universal pin adapter, measure the pin distance
with the supplied ruler gauge on (1) the push plate. Set the pins by turning the forward most half of the adapter. Then
lock into position by turning the rear portion clockwise.
3. Insert (4) the universal pin adapter into (5) the center screw and yoke assembly’s 3/8” drive end. Slide (1) the push plate
over (5) center screw and yoke assembly (ruler gauge facing inward to preserve the etching). You may then insert (2) the
T-Handle bar into (6) drive adapter.
4. Place the assembled tool between the piston and outer caliper flange. Attach the smaller end of (6) the hex adapter to
inner screw of (5) center screw and yoke assembly. Set pins in place and turn the outer sleeve of (5) the center screw
and yoke assembly clockwise to tighten (1) the push plate in position. For clockwise, turn handle clockwise while
holding (A) the smaller knurled grip. For counter-clockwise, turn the handle counter-clockwise while holding (B) the large
knurled grip. It may take multiple turns to get screw set before the piston begins to turn.
5. For push back static pistons, use the larger outer screw of (5) with the larger opening of (6) the hex adapter and turn the
handle counter-clockwise.
6. Gradually loosen the outer sleeve of (5) the center screw and yoke assembly to remove the tool from the caliper.
WARNINGS:
• Be sure to read all instructions before use
Always wear proper safety equipment
• DO NOT use with air tools
